I couldn't eat at the ramen shop near Unobe for three consecutive days (today I forgot it was a regular holiday, my bad), so today I took out all my frustrations at Tenjin Hata. I arrived before 6 pm and there was no wait, but I hesitated a bit and decided to wait for a few people to enter before going in. As expected of a famous shop! As three people arrived at the same time from somewhere, I decided to enter after watching them enter. Before entering, I washed my hands at the faucet in front of the shop. Since it was a ticket system, I went to the ticket machine to buy a ticket, and after some hesitation, I ordered the Fish Extreme Tsukemen and Heta Don set that had caught my attention before. For some reason, I ended up buying an extra noodle refill as well... oh well, they'll probably say it's impossible, so I'll ask for a refund, I thought as I headed to my seat. Water was self-service, so I poured water myself and went to my seat. As always, the table condiments were well stocked. The female staff member told me that the dipping noodles would take about 10 minutes, and then asked if I was okay with the extra noodles being thin noodles. I... can I have the extra noodles! Since it was a special occasion, I decided to have the extra noodles as well. The noodles were being made one after another as I watched, and then they were served. The appearance was so appetizing... the teapot with the dipping soup added a nice flavor. I immediately dipped the noodles in the soup and slurped them up...!! This is delicious!! The rich pork bone and fish broth harmonized well, and the umami of the soy sauce base had a powerful impact. The dipping soup is so delicious, I might really like this. The slightly wavy thick noodles were firm and had a strong elasticity, pleasing both the teeth and the tongue. The chashu looked rough in appearance, but when I ate it, it was easy to chew and had a very delicate texture. The menma was thick and had a strong crunchy texture, making it enjoyable to chew. The crunchy texture of the green onions in the dipping soup was also good (I like green onions, so I'll just keep praising them for now). And the Heta Don, with the sweet and savory sauce-coated chashu stimulating the appetite, and the bean sprouts underneath adding a textural accent. Together with the rice soaked in the sauce, it was a delight. The slightly firm boiled egg yolk served as a chopstick rest and did a great job... this bowl is so much to my liking. And even though it was a dipping noodle, I mistakenly ordered the extra noodles, which were brought to me as thin noodles. Will thin noodles go well with this dipping soup? The tension of the first bite... they go well together - I really like this! The tight texture of the thin noodles and the strong taste of the dipping soup matched very well in my personal opinion. Now, for the climax... the appearance of the soup base! Pouring the lemon-topped soup base into the dipping soup... the first sip... the punch of the dipping soup is still there, but it has become incredibly easy to drink! The lemon is doing a great job! I never thought it would have much effect (hey). Surprisingly, I finished it all! Happy ending! Well, I really didn't know what to do when I couldn't eat ramen in Unobe today, but I never expected such a fateful encounter... it was meant for us to meet, huh... I'm so happy, bokaa~ (gloomy)
