Having lunch at "Shokudo Yamada Shoten" run by a kimchi store in "Koreatown" in Momodani, Osaka. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was a line, but I really wanted to try a specific dish, so I decided to wait patiently under the scorching sun. Sometimes even an old man feels like eating Korean food~(^_^♪ The picture of the storefront was taken when the line disappeared. While waiting, I took a picture of the menu board to pass the time. The restaurant serves breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00, offering dishes like Moyashi Kuppa, Bulgogi, Yukgaejang, and Bibimbap at a reasonable price. The interior is filled with 99% women and 1% old men. The efficient and polite service is very pleasant. This time, I aimed to try the "Yamada-style Naengmyeon," not the Korean or Morioka-style cold noodles. The most popular dish is the ultimate Kimchi Jjigae made by the kimchi store. I want to try "Nakkopse," but I'll wait for it to cool down a bit more...(^_^;) They offer free kimchi service with unlimited refills (both Baechu Kimchi and Daikon Kimchi are deliciously pickled). It's a feast that makes you want to keep eating rice! The Cold Noodles Set Meal (limited to 50 servings per day) costs 900 yen and comes with free extra rice, side dishes (namul), and unlimited kimchi. For just an additional 100 yen to the cold noodles alone, you get a set with rice and three types of namul (bean sprouts, seaweed, and yam fungus), which is a great deal! The soup has a refreshing taste with seafood, vegetables, and chicken broth extract. Delicious!(๑╹ڡ╹๑) So tasty~! It's a different flavor from Pyongyang-style cold noodles, and it's addictive. The ingredients include steamed pork, kimchi, cucumber, dried radish, and Korean seaweed, all generously packed! The crispy texture of dried radish kimchi adds a nice accent. The various textures are very enjoyable. The noodles are made from thin noodles from Kyoto's Tegaku, commonly used by many ramen shops, making it more like cold ramen than cold noodles. It has a firm yet supple taste, not as strong in chewiness as traditional cold noodles. Delicious! Not too hard or too soft, it has a good bite and a rich taste. Enjoying the exquisite kimchi on top of rice. Despite its bright red appearance, the kimchi is not very spicy, but rather has a strong umami flavor. As soon as you eat it, the acidity, umami, and spiciness of the kimchi spread in your mouth, blending with the rice. So tasty!(゜д゜) Super delicious! The crunchy texture of the Baechu Kimchi is also exquisite. Adding kimchi to the cold noodles. Enjoying the change in taste with vinegar. In the second half, savoring the many ingredients together, my mouth is also delighted...(^_-)-☆ Bibimbap 600 yen Comes with soup, namul, and kimchi Since the kimchi was delicious, I bought some kimchi at a nearby store on my way back. Thank you for the delicious meal. Bon appétit. Delicious Food Diary https://ameblo.jp/takoyakikun-1/
