It had been a while since I last visited Osaka Ohsho, as I usually go to Kyoto Ohsho. When I went near closing time, I saw that there were many young staff members, which made me a bit skeptical at first. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfectly cooked gyoza! I didn't expect to see such crispy gyoza, so I was very satisfied. While I still prefer the taste of gyoza at Kyoto Ohsho, Osaka Ohsho's gyoza was a pleasant surprise. I definitely want to come back again soon!

We always end up going to this restaurant despite complaining every time. Last time they gave us free gyoza coupons, so we went, and this time we have to use those coupons. I ordered a small mapo tofu rice bowl and spicy bean sprout namul. Since it's Chinese food, it's expected to be greasy, but this place feels more greasy than usual compared to other Osaka Ohsho locations. Even though we complain, we keep coming back. The reason is that their gyoza does not contain eggs, which is important for my grandson who has an egg allergy. You might find it strange that gyoza contains eggs, but Osaka Ohsho's gyoza does use eggs. However, if you remove the quail eggs from Osaka Ohsho's Chinese rice bowl, it doesn't contain eggs, but the sauce in their Chinese rice bowl actually contains eggs! It's confusing. But since my grandson prefers gyoza over the rice bowl, we end up going to Osaka Ohsho (laughs).

If you're hungry, you can't fight. But convenience store food doesn't give you much energy. And there aren't many places to eat lunch around 4pm. So I went to a chain restaurant that's open all day, and ended up at a Chinese restaurant! One of the top two Chinese chain restaurants is Osaka Ohsho, and they have their own original menu at each location. At this Osaka Ohsho, they had a dish called Mapo Tenshin Rice Bowl. It looked so delicious! I ordered the large size, and it only cost 760 yen! Cheap! It arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was huge! Itadakimasu. The Mapo tofu and Tenshin rice were so delicious! The portion size was good, and I left feeling full. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time since it opened. It was a Saturday afternoon and there was a wait of about five groups, with limited seating outside on a bench. The interior of the restaurant is also small, so the wait was quite long. Perhaps because it had just opened, there wasn't much energy, but you could feel the struggle of the inexperienced staff... The food... I ordered a lot of cabbage champon, but it felt more like salt ramen with a thick sauce. My daughter's Tenshinhan had a very thick texture and strong flavor... I became a fan of Osaka Ohsho after visiting the store in Wakayama, but I might not go to Izumisano again.
