I visited the neighboring restaurant ○Katsu at 5:00 PM and then visited Hashigo around 6:00 PM. It was not crowded. I bought a Japanese-style fruit punch and dorayaki with fig and shine muscat. The fruit punch tasted like white grapes but the carbonation was subtle. The fruits seemed to be frozen, probably the ones intended for the dorayaki. They were fresh and delicious, and I appreciated the fruit cycle. The dorayaki was more about appearance and was honestly hard to eat, but the cream inside was tasty. The fruits were juicy.

♡ Aogado - Found the best fruit dorayaki for Ginza souvenir~ If you receive this, you will definitely be happy. I bought a whole box for myself. Fig Honey Princess - ¥778. Thin dorayaki dough with fresh figs! The red bean paste is just the right amount of sweetness, and the fig's mild sweetness and flavor complement each other. The whipped cream inside also matches the red bean paste perfectly, making it incredibly delicious. They use seasonal fruits, so the lineup changes quickly. If you have a specific fruit in mind, be sure to go early! It's almost pear season. Located just a 1-minute walk from Ginza, a hidden gem shop off Matsumiya Street. Despite being a hidden gem, it's quite popular and seems to sell out by 5:00 pm on weekdays. Definitely check it out~ There's also a location in Ebisu! Since it's takeout only, I recommend walking to Kyobashi Edogrand and enjoying it on the sofa-like seating there! #Aogado #FruitDorayaki #OnlineSweets #GiftSweets #EbisuGourmet #GinzaGourmet #JapaneseSweets #Dorayaki #TokyoSouvenir #GinzaSweets #EbisuSweets #JapaneseSweets #Gift #RewardSweets #RedBeanPaste #JapaneseSweets #Gourmet #YuttanGourmet

Seeking relief from the intense heat. It felt like a vanilla shake with strawberries in it. Not too sweet, very delicious. I thought it would be even better if I could feel the fruit pulp, but I'm sure it would cause a choking hazard haha. The interior of the restaurant was also clean and elegant!

On Saturday, August 5th, in the 5th year of Reiwa, the mission to procure travel companions during a business trip layover continues! MoPapa, who is extremely weak when it comes to strawberries, was lured in by the visuals of this shop. This shop seems to be located in Ginza, and it is holding a special event sale inside Ecute until Sunday, the 6th. The "Fruit Dorayaki: Chewy Strawberry Red Bean Paste" costs 843 yen, which is quite pricey for a dorayaki. Since it is being sold at a special event in Tokyo Station, the price may be higher than the regular price at the main store. I enjoyed it on my way from Nagoya Station to Kyoto Station. As soon as I opened the bag, I could smell the strawberries. These strawberries are said to be a brand called "Summer Rouge" from Nagano Prefecture, which I haven't heard of much before. But they must be a branded variety because they have a good fragrance despite being small. The dorayaki dough is quite thin, but indeed chewy. Inside, there are four half-cut strawberries, a layer of whipped cream using the equivalent of two strawberries, and red bean paste underneath. The taste is delicious. However, compared to my favorite Yaeemon strawberry daifuku, it just feels unnecessarily expensive in terms of flavor intensity and cost performance. I can only think that it's expensive because it's in Ecute at Tokyo Station. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing my errands in Ginza, I visited a place I had been curious about for a while, "Seikado." Tucked away in a back alley, it's easy to miss if you're not careful! (I actually passed by it at first, haha) They specialize in take-out, and inside the shop, there are colorful dorayaki made with seasonal fruits that made me go "How cute~" They have a store not only in Ginza but also in Ebisu, and at Daimaru in Osaka Umeda. You can enjoy the fusion of 90 years of dedication to domestic fruits in the fruit industry and 30 years of dedication to Japanese confectionery. The chewy homemade dough that goes well with carefully selected fruits, organic JAS-certified organic bean paste, and black sugar cream with a refreshing sweetness without the use of refined white sugar. With strawberries, white peaches, mangoes, and figs, you'll be spoiled for choice~ After much consideration, I decided to try the "Black Shine Muscat (Fuji no Kagayaki)" that I had never seen before. It's a new variety of Shine Muscat that is not normally distributed outside of Yamanashi Prefecture, making it an extremely rare variety! No wonder I hadn't seen it before~ The taste is similar to Shine Muscat in terms of texture, but the sweetness is even stronger yet refreshing, and it goes well with cream or white bean paste. It's really delicious and highly recommended! It's also easy to carry around without falling apart, making it a perfect gift! I'm sharing gourmet information on Instagram! I want to choose a delicate and delicious product from Ginza Seikado, who impressed me with their fruit dorayaki before. This time, I decided on the "Glass Agar" - a summer version of their product that embodies their delicate flavors. It comes in a tall bottle with a simple design, adorned with shiny muscat grapes. The clear agar looks cool and refreshing, perfect for the summer. Transferring the well-chilled agar into a bowl is quite an entertaining experience. The agar itself looks like glass and is beautiful to look at. Eating it with the muscat grapes is a treat - the grapes burst with sweetness as you bite into them, complementing the soft texture of the agar. The overall experience is luxurious and beautiful in every aspect. Don't miss out on savoring each bite. The store is now decorated for summer, with transparent products standing out alongside their famous dorayaki. Their new drink, a refreshing muscat-flavored soda with chunks of seasonal fruits called "Drinkable Fruit Punch," is a hit among regulars. It's perfect for strolling through Ginza. Be sure to check out Seikado's summer products that will cool down your body on a hot day.

This was my first visit during the daytime. The exterior of the shop had a Japanese-style feel and a nice atmosphere. Based on the recommendation of what seemed to be the owner, I purchased a total of four fig and peach dorayaki. It cost around 3500 yen, which was quite expensive. The fruits used were apparently carefully selected, and they were very delicious. Thank you very much.

Recommended souvenir shop where you can feel the four seasons from each item! I revisited @seikadou_ after a year. With two stores in Ginza and Ebisu, this Japanese confectionery shop with 90 years of history in the fruit business and 30 years in the confectionery business impressed me with its skilled craftsmanship. Each piece reflects the four seasons and is meticulously made. They are like pieces of art, maintaining freshness while being incredibly delicious. I was able to experience the greatness of Seikado up close. These products are perfect as gifts for loved ones or as a treat for yourself. Highlights: - Selects seasonal delicacies - Dorayaki uses a mochi and shiratamako flour dough for a chewy texture - Rich cream made only with black sugar - Anko (sweet red bean paste) is JAS certified organic Menu: - Moist fig bean paste dorayaki made with Aichi-grown figs - Limited edition Ibaraki-grown red meat melon soda float - Dorayaki with organic sweet red bean paste and a blend of matcha from Kyoto, Shiga, and Shizuoka All the products were fresh and delicious. The balance of white and black bean paste in each item was exquisite. The cream was light and easy to eat. I highly recommend everyone to experience this amazing taste sensation up close.

Following the surprise Mother's Day gift from my eldest daughter, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a gift from my eldest son as well. The gift came in a fancy box from "Ginza Seikado," and inside were four elegantly packaged "Mochi Mochi Dorayaki." These dorayaki are made with a dough using rice flour and shiratama flour, filled with high-quality Japanese fruits, fresh cream, and organic sweet red bean paste. It was such a stylish and delicious treat! I was taken aback by my son's thoughtful gesture, and when I asked him who chose it, he revealed that it was a shop favored by the producer of our favorite game, "Final Fantasy." The spring lineup includes four flavors: strawberry, apple, citrus, and fig. I tried the strawberry first, and it was bursting with the taste of fresh strawberries. The citrus flavor with tangerine was my favorite, followed by the apple, which was generously filled with slices of apple. I passed the fig one to my partner, who enjoyed it. Overall, I was grateful for the surprise gift from Ginza Seikado, a place I rarely have the chance to visit.

During my lunch break in Ginza, I often find myself buying deli items at the department store basement or picking up snacks for my kids (which quickly eats away at my hourly wage, haha). On my way back from Matsuya in Ginza, I unexpectedly came across a sign for a dorayaki shop that looked delicious. I remembered seeing the same shop near Ebisu station recently. I found the shop tucked away on a side street, without a sign on the main street I would never have found it. Once I stepped inside the shop, I was greeted by a display of dorayaki filled with delicious-looking fruits. Although they were a bit pricey (haha), I decided to bring home just two. I chose the Aichi prefecture fig dorayaki. The packaging described it as a "moist fig chunk paste." I couldn't resist the collaboration between my favorite fruit, figs, and dorayaki. I dissected it eagerly and found a chewy, thin dorayaki base with a thin layer of chunky paste and a light cream on top. Both the paste and cream were subtle, allowing the unique fragrance and freshness of figs to shine through. It was truly delicious. Next, I tried the Miyazaki prefecture Irwin mango dorayaki. The packaging described it as "chewy mango white bean paste." Just like before, I eagerly dissected it and found a very sweet and juicy mango, without being overpoweringly sweet. The mango paired perfectly with the gentle sweetness of the cream and bean paste. The mango was so fresh and delicious. While cakes these days can be quite expensive and heavy, I may not be able to buy these dorayaki frequently due to the price, but if I want to enjoy the fresh and delicious taste of seasonal fruits, I would definitely consider buying them again as a gift for a friend or as a special treat. These dorayaki, which allow fruit lovers to savor the taste of fruits, were a delightful and innovative treat. Highly recommended for fruit lovers!

If you're looking for a great souvenir, head to Ginza for delicious gourmet treats! Aoirodou offers amazing fruit dorayaki with seasonal fruits and chewy dough. While strawberry dorayaki is a classic choice, here you can taste different varieties of strawberries. The commitment to using high-quality fruits is impressive! They also have limited-time products and refreshing desserts like panna cotta, jelly, and shakes for hot days. I tried the mango dorayaki and white peach fruit shake - the mango was incredibly juicy! The combination of chewy dough, fruits, cream, and red bean paste was divine! And the white peach fruit shake was mind-blowing! The rich milk paired with white peach was pure bliss. Whether you're shopping in Ginza or just need a break, treat yourself to a fruit shake at Aoirodou for a delightful experience. #Aoirodou #FruitDorayaki #OnlineSweets #SouvenirSweets #EbisuGourmet #GinzaGourmet #JapaneseSweets #Dorayaki #TokyoSouvenir #Gift #GinzaSweets #EbisuSweets #JapaneseSweets

For example, Daifuku + fruits. It started with strawberry daifuku and became a big trend, with a variety of fruits now available in collaboration with traditional Japanese sweets. Amidst this, there is a company called Seikado, with 90 years in the fruit industry and 30 years in the confectionery industry, offering beautifully presented and delicately flavored fruit dorayaki. They source fruits from all over Japan that are not found in supermarkets or markets, transforming them into these stunning new traditional sweets. Today, I purchased the following: - Aichi Prefecture fig from Masui Dolphin - Miyagi Prefecture Irwin mango Both are my favorite fruits. Well, to be honest, I love all fruits, haha. The chewy, thin dough, the sweet bean paste, and the fruit - the three layers of flavor and texture are soft, gooey, and juicy. The juiciness of the fruit at the end is the perfect finish, making it incredibly delicious. The small shop in Ginza has a cozy, hidden feel. When you open the sliding door, a sweet fruity aroma fills the air, creating a wonderfully happy atmosphere. The gentle demeanor of the staff adds to the pleasant experience of this shop. In any case, Seikado in Ginza is a place that will soothe your soul.

Located a little off the main street from Matsuya-dori in Ginza, you might miss the fruit dorayaki shop "Ginza Seikado" if you don't spot the sign on the main street. It is a small take-out only store. With a focus on 90 years of dedication to domestic fruits in the produce industry and 30 years of traditional Japanese confectionery, they offer a dazzling array of fruit dorayaki. Seasonal fruit dorayaki samples are displayed in the storefront, using fruits sourced from all over Japan, from Okinawa in the south to Hokkaido in the north. They even directly source ingredients from local farmers if the Tokyo market doesn't have them. They select the most delicious fruits of the season to use in their dorayaki! The seasonal fruit dorayaki available on the day of my visit included: Ibaraki-grown Yayoihime strawberries with white bean paste, Ibaraki-grown Yayoihime strawberries with chunky bean paste, Tochigi-grown large strawberries with custard, Aichi-grown figs with Masai Dolphin, Okinawa-grown pineapples with Beach Pine, Ehime-grown citrus with Calamondin, Miyazaki-grown Irwin mangoes, Aomori-grown apples with Purple Ranjaku, and Yamanashi-grown grapes with Pioneer. They also offer other dorayaki flavors such as fresh chocolate, butter, and fruit-based drinks. This time, I took home the Tochigi-grown large strawberries with custard for 864 yen and the Aichi-grown figs with Masai Dolphin for 907 yen. The skin is fluffy and chewy, and the filling and custard are delicately sweet to enhance the fruit's flavor. The wrapping paper also exudes a sense of luxury, with a stylish traditional design. These fruit dorayaki are perfect for gifts, souvenirs, or seasonal gifts. Wouldn't you be happy to receive such a beautiful dorayaki? Of course, they are also a great treat for yourself! I enjoyed them at home with a cup of tea. I would love to try dorayaki made with seasonal fruits!

Located a 1-minute walk from Ginza Station, near the Ginza 4-chome intersection, this shop offers delicious fruit dorayaki and more. It is tucked away in a back alley off Matsuya Street. The elegant Japanese-style exterior is a standout feature, and the spacious, clean interior exudes a sense of openness. The fruits used in the fruit dorayaki include not only domestic varieties but also rare ones not commonly found, carefully selected for their peak flavor. High-grade strawberries, Shine Muscat grapes, mangoes, white peaches, melons, and more are available. (The fruit and vegetable business has a 90-year history.) The red bean paste used by Aogado contains no preservatives or additives typically found in regular red bean paste, making it a healthier option. They use organic farming methods. The confectionery business has a 30-year history. The dough includes mochi flour and shiratama flour, not traditionally used in dorayaki, giving it a chewy texture. Upon entering the shop, the friendly and welcoming staff create a pleasant atmosphere. There is no seating space for dining in, so takeaway is the main option. I tried the fig dorayaki and the strawberry red bean dorayaki, and they were the best dorayaki I've ever had in my life. ★The items I tried and the reviews are as follows. ■Aichi-grown Fig Dorayaki 907 yen (tax included) I chose this without hesitation as I rarely have the chance to eat figs. True to its reputation as a carefully selected domestic fig, it has a sophisticated sweetness and texture. The fig is soft but does not interfere with the dorayaki dough or red bean paste at all. The dough is thinner than regular dorayaki, preventing dryness in the mouth and giving off a slight pleasant aroma. The texture is chewy but at just the right level. The combination of red bean paste, cream, and fruit was excellent, keeping my spirits high throughout. ■Ibaraki-grown Strawberry Dorayaki 756 yen (tax included) I bought this because the strawberries looked delicious and vibrant. I was torn between red bean paste and white bean paste, but the staff recommended red bean paste, which was popular, so I went with that. The sweetness of the strawberries was exceptional, almost melting in my mouth. The red bean paste and whipped cream blended in my mouth, creating an outstanding masterpiece. ~Overall~ This was my first time trying fruit dorayaki, and the high-quality red bean paste, fruit, and dough provided an exceptional taste experience. The cute appearance of the fruit dorayaki makes it a great gift and perfect for social media. Highly recommended!

Located in a quiet alley in Ginza 4-chome, "Ginza Seikado" offers a unique twist on dorayaki by using carefully selected fruits wrapped in chewy dough. The concept combines Japan's four seasons, food, and traditional Japanese sweets. They use the best seasonal fruits in their most delicious state, incorporating rare varieties that are not commonly found in the market, and selecting high-quality domestic fruits. The dough, made with mochi flour and shiratama flour, creates a unique texture not found in traditional dorayaki. They use organic azuki beans for the bean paste, without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and no preservatives or additives. The bean paste is low in sugar to enhance the flavor of the fruits. The white bean paste is made from carefully processed kidney beans, creating a gentle flavor. The store is located about a 4-minute walk from the intersection of Ginza 4-chome, tucked away in the back streets with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The menu features a variety of fruits and flavors, each carefully selected and sourced from farmers who put their heart into their produce. I tried the "Skyberry" from Tochigi Prefecture and the "Pine Orange" from Kumamoto Prefecture. The Skyberry dorayaki had a large, beautifully cut strawberry on top of a layer of bean paste, with cream hidden inside and wrapped in dough. The strawberry had a refreshing texture and a subtle sweetness that was complemented by the cream and bean paste. The Pine Orange dorayaki featured a juicy orange slice on top of white bean paste with cream hidden inside. The sweet and tangy flavor of the orange was balanced by the bean paste, creating a harmonious combination. The packaging design also adds to the experience, making it a great gift option. Overall, Ginza Seikado offers a luxurious and delicious dorayaki experience that is sure to delight both yourself and others.

I stopped by a shop that caught my eye and bought a Sky Berry while attending an event in Ginza. As soon as I received it, I could smell the strawberry even though it was still wrapped. The dorayaki had a subtle sweetness, the strawberries were sweet and juicy, and the sweetness of the red bean paste was also mild, creating a well-balanced flavor. You can eat a lot of it, but the price is a bit... It's worth buying as a treat once in a while, haha.

"Seikadou" is a shop that specializes in Japanese sweets made with high-quality fruits. Located in a small alley in Ginza, this take-out only shop is a hidden gem that attracts a steady stream of customers. Once inside, you will be greeted by a beautiful display of Japanese sweets that all look delicious. The dorayaki, in particular, is a standout with its amazing fruits inside. The red bean paste and cream are also very appealing, making it hard to choose just one. They pay attention to the dough as well, using mochi flour and shiratama flour that are not typically used in dorayaki, giving it an extra chewy texture. The "Glass Agar" and "Japanese-style Panna Cotta" are also full of fruits and visually stunning, and they have a longer shelf life compared to dorayaki. Combining them into a set would make a perfect gift or souvenir that anyone would appreciate. Even if you can't visit the shop in person, you can purchase their products through their online store linked on their Instagram profile. Search for "Ginza Fruit Dorayaki" for more information.

In a charming entrance with a traditional Japanese feel tucked away in a back alley in Ginza, there is a take-out shop that specializes in dorayaki made with fruits such as strawberries. The shop is very small, only accommodating about two people at a time. The lineup of fruits may vary depending on the season, but on this day there were three types of strawberries available: Ibaraki's Yayoihime with chunky red bean paste, Tochigi's Royal Queen with white bean paste, both priced at ¥720, and Tochigi's large Skyberry strawberries with custard bean paste priced at ¥780, or ¥800 for the custard-filled dorayaki. In addition, there were persimmons, kiwis, Asian pears, apples, and citrus fruits to choose from, making it a tough decision. I purchased the Yayoihime dorayaki. The dorayaki pancake was thin and chewy, with a good balance of red bean paste and cream, and the combination with the strawberries was delightful. However, all the fruits were quite pricey. Perhaps it's due to the prime location in Ginza. It would be nice if the prices were more affordable. The packaging is sturdy, making it a great gift option. In addition to dorayaki, they also offered fruit smoothies and fruit punch. There were no waiting customers when I visited for a snack on a holiday, but as I left, two groups of customers were waiting. Prices are excluding tax.
