Shi-san is a udon restaurant that also offers a variety of dishes such as rice bowls, curry, oden, jumbo inari sushi, and ohagi. I love this place because I can enjoy a variety of foods. This time, I ordered the "Shi-san Happiness Set" which allows you to choose a mini meat and vegetable tempura udon, a mini rice bowl, and comes with a mini botamochi. I felt so happy and satisfied after enjoying the delicious food. On the way back, my friend bought me my favorite "jumbo inari sushi". It made me even happier.

After finishing work at 8:00 pm, I met up with my partner and went to the "usual place" at the Hanbashi branch. It was hot, hot, hot as we entered the restaurant, with people already waiting for a table on this busy night of the three-day weekend. We were finally seated and ordered our favorite summer dish - chilled udon. I had the udon with fried chicken, while my partner had the udon with meat and burdock root. The thin noodles were served by a foreign staff member, and the hot meat and cold udon were a perfect combination. The aroma of fried chicken and bonito broth was delightful. The raw egg on the side added an extra richness to the dish. I shared a piece of fried chicken with my partner, who loved it. The juicy and delicious udon filled our stomachs with satisfaction once again. It was the best meal ever!

During my sales activities, I suddenly had a craving for katsudon and udon, so I visited Sushiya Udon near the customer's location. They had a "Happiness Set" on the menu which included exactly what I wanted, along with a bonus botamochi. The udon had a gentle and delicious broth as always. Thank you for the meal.

There is not much time before the scheduled meal, so let's have some udon! My favorite places like "Hei" and "Daichi" are too crowded with tourists to approach. I decided to search for "Sanzan Udon" using the "Locesma" app. I found it, and was surprised when I arrived! This is the biggest box I've ever seen. It might be the largest udon specialty store in Japan. You can tell that Fukuoka people love udon. I headed straight to the "oden corner" after entering. I chose "daikon" and "maruten" because the tendon was still a bit firm. The ordering system was tablet-based, and I didn't know, so I called a staff member for help. Finally, my gobou tempura and chicken udon arrived. But wait, there's also "gobou tempura and chicken udon" next to it! I remembered a place in Orio called "Higashi Chikken," and immediately changed my order. The daikon was a bit firm, and the maruten (satsuma-age) was soft and fluffy. The udon was served in a large bowl with plenty of broth. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the bowl was huge. The freshly fried gobou tempura was delicious, crispy, and juicy. And there were five large pieces in there. I believe in Marugame, one piece costs 70 yen, but here there were five. Amazing! Now, what about the chicken? Hmm, the flavor was a bit too strong. Honestly, it was too heavy for my taste, so I left some. Maybe I should have stuck with the meat udon... Lastly, I tried the free "tororo konbu" topping, but it was too salty for me at the moment. I understand that a certain level of saltiness is expected, but this was too much. I'll have to think twice about adding tororo konbu to my udon in the future.

"I'm hungry." "Yeah, what do you want?" "Udon! Soba!" "Shall we go to Suisan?" With a twist of uniqueness and trickiness, Suisan Udon Handa Bridge offers a comforting and delicious dining experience. With a spacious parking lot and friendly service at any time, this place is a gem. I am so used to having burdock with my meal that I feel uneasy without it. "I'll have the chicken and burdock tempura soba today instead of the udon." My partner ordered the mini pork cutlet rice bowl set. The food was served promptly, and the soba was a delightful first experience. The thin, soft noodles exuded a subtle soba fragrance. The chicken was tender and had a steamed-like texture. I love the unique chewy texture of the chicken skin mixed with the fluffy meat. The addition of grated yam with kelp for flavor variation was healthy and incredibly delicious. Thanks to Suisan, I have come to love grated yam with kelp. Enjoying the consistent deliciousness and the joy of dining with someone made me happy as the night of the last day of April drew to a close. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I love it.

I watched a TV show where Tanabe-san mistakenly called "Suke-san" as "Shi-san" in a bar room, and ended up visiting the restaurant. I was amazed by the cost performance of 880 yen for a set of pork cutlet rice bowl, burdock tempura, and meat udon with botamochi. The taste was also excellent. I was used to Kanto-style broth, but I found that Kyushu-style was also great. I realized that the quality of food is not limited by the region.

This time I tried the soba noodles. However, it was disappointing that it took a long time to be seated due to insufficient staff on the floor. I chose the kitsune soba, which is called tanuki in Kansai. I felt that udon noodles are tastier than soba, but the delicious onigiri and tororo kombu were good.

The menu and presentation are so sneaky! Even though there are seasonal limited clam udon and meat-filled cutlet set meals, when you tap on the menu, a big bowl of meat and burdock tempura udon pops up, making you crave it! The aroma of the rich soup, loved by the Japanese so much that they would faint, seems to waft through. My dining partner ordered a dish with fried chicken and something like a topping on top. When the meat and burdock tempura udon was brought to us, the steam gently caressed our cheeks, and the rich aroma of the soup made our hearts flutter. We both said "Itadakimasu" at the same time, a small happiness overflowing. The chewy white noodles, crispy tempura, and the sweet and salty beef soaked in udon broth made every bite delicious. Adding the grated yam and kelp provided on the table for flavor variation made it even more delicious. The gratitude of being able to have this 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Thank you for the feast!

I visited the restaurant around 4 am on a rainy Saturday night (early Sunday morning). The first floor is a parking lot, so you can enter the store from your car without getting wet. Despite it being late at night, there were customers. I was surprised to see that there were three staff members working. I ordered the seasonal menu item, seafood ankake udon for 830 yen. Unfortunately, the soup was lukewarm, but the taste was good. The udon inside was piping hot, so I managed to eat it by mixing it. The oyster and crab tempura were delicious.

I walked straight from exit 3 of Fukuoka City Subway Higashi-Hie Station and arrived after a considerable walk. It's a two-story building, spacious, and thankfully it wasn't raining. The restroom was clean. I ordered using a tablet, and the service was quick. The taste was also great. I got the ohagi to go.

I had lunch near Fukuoka Airport at a halfway bridge and decided to stop by. I ordered burdock tempura udon and quail rice ball. It was a little after 1:30 pm on a weekday, and the place was full. I had to write my name down and wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. The restaurant was filled with office workers, people in work clothes, couples, and various other customers. The food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The burdock tempura was long and delicious, served with soft udon noodles. The quail rice ball was a satisfying side dish, and I left feeling full.

Kyushu is known for its udon noodles, and although I was torn between choosing Makino Udon, I decided to try this place instead. They are open 24 hours and offer a variety of set menus. "Kashiwa" refers to chicken, and their chicken mixed rice ball is said to be delicious. It was indeed tasty. In addition, the set menu comes with a dessert-like "botamochi," which is a soft rice cake with a mildly sweet red bean paste filling that is absolutely delicious! After enjoying the rice ball and botamochi, I opted for a small size udon as my main dish. The udon here is softer compared to Kanto-style udon, but it is delicious in its own way.

I had never eaten udon outside before, but today when deciding what to eat, my friend suggested udon. Even though he was eating yakisoba for lunch, he didn't seem to understand the udon culture in Fukuoka, so he took me to a nearby place and left it to their recommendation. The restaurant had a warehouse-like structure with a touch panel for ordering. I tried the "Niku Gobo Tempura Udon" that my friend recommended, while he had some kind of thin noodles. The noodles were white and chewy, similar to the ones my mom used to make, which I liked. The tempura was crispy and the meat was finely chopped, making it easy to eat. Adding the grated yam and kelp on the table enhanced the flavor even more. It was fun to watch the serving robot wandering around, and a little kid at another table passionately singing a famous song from Frozen. But most of all, it was enjoyable to eat with someone I love. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I had Sanchan Udon. Hmm, it seems like the price has gone up a bit... Well, wheat prices have been rising lately so it can't be helped. The taste is as good as always, no issues there, but when multiple people go, ordering can take a while due to the touch panel system. It's strange how the staff just stands there waiting for our order input, wasting time...

First time at this restaurant. I've been to other stores before, but this is my first time here. The store is on the second floor and the first floor is for parking. Self-ordering using a tablet. Of course, self-serve for water too. I ordered the safe choice of Niku Gobo Tempura Udon for 700 yen. The amount of meat in the Niku Udon is just right! You can also add grated yam and tempura flakes as much as you want, which is nice. Thank you for the meal.

On the way back home from a drive, I stopped by "Sanzan Udon Handaibashi" that I happened to pass by. It was around 2:30 pm, and I thought there wouldn't be many customers, but the parking lot was quite crowded. About half of the seats were taken, and I realized it's a popular place. I love the sweet broth unique to Kyushu's "Sanzan Udon." That day, I ordered the "Kashiwagobo Tempura Udon." I was quite hungry, and it was unbelievably delicious. I used the Fukuoka prefecture's GOTO EAT voucher, so it was a very reasonable lunch. It seems they have a large-scale expansion, so I hope people from all over the country can taste Fukuoka's sweet broth.

Located along the old Route 3, Zisand Udon is a 24-hour restaurant. I visited during a rainy day, wanting to eat quickly without getting wet, so this place was perfect for that! Zisand Udon seems to be expanding rapidly lately, probably due to a change in ownership. I parked on the first floor and went up to the second floor to enter. There is an elevator, which is convenient. The corridor and interior of the restaurant are quite spacious, with counter seats for individuals, tables, and tatami seating. Ordering is done through a touch panel system, which many restaurants seem to be adopting due to COVID-19. I ordered the "Niku Goboten Udon," which had chewy noodles with crispy goboten (tempura) and sweet meat. The soup had a slight tanginess, but the sweetness of the meat balanced it out. I considered getting some botamochi (sweet rice cake) as well, but I was surprisingly full, so maybe next time. There were condiments like shredded seaweed, tempura scraps, and pickles on the table, which adds to the charm of chain restaurants. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

Halfway Bridge "Sushi Udon" for breakfast with fried chicken. Due to the increase in remote work caused by COVID, I had to go to work early for the first time in a while and needed to find somewhere for breakfast. I found "Sushi Udon" on Halfway Bridge. There used to be a conveyor belt sushi chain here. You go up to the second floor by stairs, and there are tapestries of the founder along the way. It's interesting that it's "Sushi Udon" but they have a touch panel now. I ordered fried chicken for breakfast, which was just the right size. I wish they had an original TKG with grated yam, egg, and soy sauce. Let's do our best for the day ahead!

Do you know Sukesan Udon? Finally, they have added clam soup rice and oden to their menu! The clam soup rice exceeded my expectations with its delicious flavor. The gentle white miso soup with plenty of clams and rice topped with grated yam and kombu was amazing! The oden was also delicious! We also ordered chicken tempura for some reason, which was also tasty. We didn't order udon this time. It was crowded during lunchtime with salarymen, but we had a great meal!

Located on the second floor of a two-story building at the intersection of a bridge, with parking on the first floor. This is my first time experiencing this type of layout. The size of the interior of the store seems to be similar to other stores. Orders are placed using a touch panel. Black udon for 580 yen. Hmm, it seems like the soup is a bit lighter than before?! I visited the Kogas store. It was a bit light. Maybe my taste buds are off... Thank you for the meal.
