Osaka Edomae Sushi
This restaurant is open from morning till night, so it's convenient to drop in at any time. I've been here for the third time because it has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy for a woman to dine alone. Located in the underground of the station, the restaurant has a standing bar-like setup, but the interior is clean and neat, attracting many young couples. Despite the small and narrow counter-only space, there are plenty of staff members. The prices are reasonable, around 8000 yen per person including drinks. I also had beer, although it's not shown in the picture. The sushi prices are reasonable, and there is a decent selection of drinks. The restaurant is clean and located near Osaka Station, making it a well-balanced and easy-to-use place that I like. I can order without worrying about my wallet, and the atmosphere is pleasant, allowing me to enjoy my meal every time. While some of the chefs may seem a bit unfriendly, the young female staff members are beautiful and very friendly. On my first and second visits, I only had a little snack before a meeting, so I could only eat a little, but this time I finally got to try the dishes I wanted. I particularly liked the rich sea urchin eaten with salt. The taste of the sushi is as expected. The rice is seasoned with red vinegar. The rice may be slightly loose, but I don't have much experience with sushi, so I can't say for sure. However, the cost performance is good. Since it's summer, I ordered conger eel. The eel was a bit difficult to eat because the bones were not finely cut, giving it a slightly tough texture, perhaps aiming for a half-raw chewy texture. Personally, I prefer a softer texture, so I found it a bit difficult to eat, but I understand that some people may like it that way. I also had blackthroat seaperch, salmon roe, pickled scallion, bluefin tuna, golden threadfin bream, flounder, gizzard shad, sea urchin, medium fatty tuna, seared squid, sea urchin again, kawahagi liver, conger eel from Tokushima, and half-cooked potato salad. The sake I had was Hidashiburi Masamune, and the background music was Uguisu by Tane no Uta.
