Visited the restaurant with my wife around 11:40 in late May on a weekday. There were two groups of customers who seemed to be working nearby. I was relieved to see that the restaurant was quite busy on weekdays, as I had been worried about it being empty in the past. The lunch menu had changed from "Weekly Lunch" to "Daily Special Lunch." The daily specials included dishes like Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Shredded Pork with Green Peppers, Twice-Cooked Pork, Stir-Fried Pork Intestines, Mapo Tofu, Stir-Fried Hormone, and Mapo Eggplant, all priced at 690 yen each, which was very affordable. I ordered the Stir-Fried Hormone Lunch, while my wife chose the Shredded Pork with Green Peppers Lunch. We also ordered a medium bottle of beer, which was surprisingly cheap at around 500 yen. I was craving the Stir-Fried Hormone dish as I had enjoyed it before. The portion of the Kung Pao Chicken was generous, but I really wanted to try the Stir-Fried Pork Intestines. I asked the chef about it, and he explained that ordering it separately would get me the intestines, while the daily special would have Kung Pao Chicken. Oh well, maybe next time I'll order it separately! My wife enjoyed the Shredded Pork with Green Peppers, saying it had a delicate flavor that she could eat endlessly. The chef, who is Chinese, mentioned that the 690 yen price was too low and suggested raising it a bit, but then added that customers might not come if the prices were increased. Perhaps it's because the restaurant is located in a student area. I noticed two new things on the menu that surprised me: an all-you-can-eat and drink option for 3,500 yen, which I think they should reconsider, and a sake course for 1,180 yen, including 2 dishes and a glass of sake, which I believe is worth trying. Overall, I would like to support this restaurant and will definitely visit again! Paid in cash, thank you for the meal!
