I found a place to have lunch after using it. The interior has counter seats, raised seating, and table seats. "If you visit before 1 pm, you may be lucky enough to find a table seat available. It seems to be a popular restaurant because there were people waiting outside when we left, which was surprising. When I heard about the seafood bowl in Itoshima, I immediately thought of that popular restaurant, but it seems to be unrelated. They use rice and soy sauce from Itoshima. The bluefin tuna bowl (2,200 yen including tax) has sesame sauce, typical of Fukuoka, but my husband ate it with wasabi soy sauce. The bluefin tuna looks beautiful, with medium fatty tuna and lean tuna arranged attractively. The medium fatty tuna has good fat content, and the lean tuna was to our liking. For the price, the quality was good, but it was a shame that the rice was not vinegared. The sashimi set meal (1,580 yen including tax) caught my eye as the restaurant specializes in fresh seafood. The sashimi included raw shrimp, lean tuna, squid with flying fish roe, salmon, sea bream, and manbou. The large shrimp was sweet and delicious. I don't like salmon, but the other items had good flavor. The chawanmushi had few ingredients but was tasty. The side dishes included seaweed simmered in soy sauce, fish head miso soup (with large fish heads), and pickles. The rice was tasty and more filling than it looked, so I shared it with my husband. The bluefin tuna was delicious. When I first saw the menu, I thought it might be expensive for this location, but considering that the bluefin tuna bowl is actually quite affordable. We were both satisfied with the delicious seafood.
