食っちゃ寝~
Revisit - 2012.10.10 - Suddenly decided to have a drink in Nishijin. Looking for delicious 50 yen skewers... Goma mackerel - unfortunately, it seems to have a sesame dressing on it. I prefer it with more finely ground sesame. The appetizers were cheese tofu and boiled vegetables. Skewers included (clockwise) skin, pork belly, beef suji, garlic chicken skin, yotsumi, and shishamo. Chicken hearts were available separately. Despite everything, the 50 yen skin skewers were the best! Not too fatty, just right! One bite dumplings. They stick together when grilled, so it's a bit disappointing when the skin peels off while eating. Also had smashed cucumbers and plum jellyfish. Ended up drinking three glasses of alcohol despite not planning to... But still managed to stay within the budget of around 3000 yen per person. Even though it was a Wednesday, the place was full, as always, at Tarafuku. Thank you for the meal! Strolled around Nishijin looking for a place for dinner and stumbled upon this place. The menu had 50 yen skewers! Didn't order any though... haha! The appetizers arrived, and as someone on a diet, I ordered a salad. The vegetables were crunchy and delicious, but there was too much dressing, which was a bit disappointing. I wonder if more dressing is better? It's a matter of preference. Chicken sashimi. It was a mixed plate and it was delicious! I love it so much that I would even buy it at a supermarket... Yes, it was fresh and tasty! (Well, it would be scary if the chicken wasn't fresh...) It said "morning caught" on the menu. That's reassuring. I don't think it's from yesterday morning! The tanshio was also cooked perfectly. I'm a chicken lover, so I only had a bite. The main dish was the deep-fried garlic bulb! I love it but it caused some trouble the next day... but I still love it! The yakitori was cooked just right. I'm a chicken lover, so I only had a bite. The highlight was the chicken skin roll with garlic bulb! It was my first time seeing such a skewer - a garlic bulb wrapped in chicken skin. The appearance is just chicken skin, but the garlic bulb...! It was amazing! It was a weekday, but the place was packed and very busy. I really liked the overall affordable menu. If in doubt, I'll choose to go here! ★ Tarafuku Nishijin Store ★ [Address] 1F Nishikawa Building, 7-10 Nishijin, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture [Business Hours] 18:00-1:00 [Phone Number] 092-822-0041
