Holiday at 2:30 pm, right next to Suminoe Station, there's a bread factory outlet. It used to be Nordic, right? Is the factory outlet also now Alheim? The bread and the atmosphere are still Nordic, so wouldn't it have been better to keep it that way? Well, anyway... Oh, there's a parking lot. It's like a dreamland for bread lovers, no matter how much you buy, it's cheap. The taste is definitely good because it's Nordic (whatever). All of this cost 795 yen. It's so cheap (30-50% off?). Even though I can't eat a lot, I still end up buying. I'll come back again, next time I'll bring more back.

I love this bread direct sales shop so much (^ . ^) I always stop by when I'm nearby, ever since my time in Scandinavia. I visited around 11:30 on a weekday. The selection of goods is great, maybe because it's just before lunchtime. Today's special item is the "Quincy" bread, one for 55 yen, but amazingly, three for 120 yen! Of course, I bought three. The bag of 5 dog-shaped breads is a bit misshapen but only 162 yen. The taste is the same, so no problem at all (^ . ^) I picked out a variety of items and ended up with a big bag full. But even with all that, it only came to 1200 yen. In my experience, this place has the best cost performance among the bakeries I know.

The factory direct sales store is so appealing♡ The store was spacious and there were still quite a few items left around 3 pm. Because everything is cheap, I kept adding more and more to my tray. I bought French toast, fluffy melon pan (2 pieces), sesame cheese wiener, potato bacon dog, Viking sugar, strawberry chocolate croissant, mixed grain walnut bread, Quincey, and discounted rusk (10 pieces) for ¥1,400. It's really cheap, after all. The French toast was a bit too sweet. I baked the sesame cheese wiener and potato bacon dog in the oven. They were delicious! Quincey brought back memories, as I used to eat it a lot in the past. I put away the leftovers in the freezer. I'll enjoy them little by little starting tomorrow. Thank you for the meal✩⃛( ͒ •·̫• ͒) ===========

Under the guard of Suminoe Station, there is a bakery shop called "Nord Bakeri ALFHEIM" where you can get great deals on bread, including Quincy Chocolate Cream (50 yen, regular price 135 yen). They offer outlet products like bread crusts, but also regular items at discounted prices. It's a paradise for bread lovers (I'm not a bread lover myself, but my wife is thrilled haha). I stocked up on bread, so I'll be eating bread for a while. If you check on Tabelog, it might show up in Suminoe-cho (I got lost trying to find it...), so I recommend searching for "ALFHEIM Factory Direct Store" on Google Maps.

The factory direct store was not as exciting as I had hoped. There were many large, delicious bread loaves available at a good price, and I ended up buying too much. When I was in elementary school, I used to like the fluffy, long bread from Northern Europe. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.

I stopped by because there was work nearby. I have been using this place since the "HOKUO" days, and it's very convenient because it's delicious and cheap. Even with all of this, the total price is ¥1830 including tax. I will freeze the leftover bread. Thank you for the meal.

Bakery shop "HOKUO" originally started as a bread manufacturing and sales company based in Sapporo. In Tokyo, Odakyu Group's "Nordic Tokyo" holds the operating rights for the brand, while in Osaka and Hyogo, "Nordic Food Service" holds the operating rights. However, the parent company of "Nordic Food Service," "Hawksley" (operates "Hokka Hokka Tei" among others), changed its name to establish its own brand, "ALFHEIM." With its headquarters in Suminoe, Osaka, "NordBakeriALFHEIM Factory Direct Store" (Osaka, Suminoe) is now operating. On this particular day, Quincy was being sold at 3 for 100 yen, although it was sold out. I purchased Quincy (80 yen), Chocolate (80 yen), Chocolate Roll Danish (80 yen), and Cream Donut (110 yen).

There seems to be a factory behind the store!! It's always crowded because you can buy things for a few percent cheaper than usual. On this day, they had freshly made curry bread so I bought some to take home. It cost ¥100, so the filling inside was a bit less, but the bread was delicious as usual. I bought all of this for around ¥440 (I think).

It's always crowded. Quincy is the best! I've been eating it since I was young. It's nostalgic and delicious. Sometimes, Quincy is only 50 yen, which is a great deal (expires the next day). The price of one bread is usually around 120-180 yen, and it's cheap because it's an outlet. Not all of them are super delicious, but they're not bad either. They are just right in terms of taste and cost for everyday consumption. There are two types of bread, "Takumi" and "Jitsu," with Jitsu being slightly more expensive but tasty. The raisin bread is also popular. They don't always have them, but sometimes you can get the bread crusts for 80 yen or a bag of 8 slices of baguette for 100 yen. They have a stamp card where you get 1 stamp for 500 yen. On rainy days, it's double. I once got a cupcake voucher on a rainy day when I went to buy bread.

The bread sold directly from the factory is cheap, in my opinion. The quality of the shokupan (white bread) is okay, but I don't like that it crumbles easily. However, considering the price, I can overlook it. It's a better deal to buy a whole loaf.

In any case, Alheim's bread, such as the sandwich bread, tastes the same as the expensive ones. It is cheaper due to reasons like being burnt. If you buy over 1000 yen, you can get a discount on the parking fee, so I recommend it. There also seems to be a discount for the bicycle parking. Nankai Parking Suminoe Station

"Nankai Dentetsu Suminoe Station is known for its factory outlet store selling bread at a low price, located next to the factory that produces bread for the bakery shop "HOKUO". However, it has changed to "Nord Bakeri ALFHEIM Factory Outlet Store" since August 8th last year. Originally, "HOKUO" is a bread manufacturing and sales company based in Sapporo, but in Tokyo, the Odakyu Group's "HOKUO Tokyo" holds the business rights and operates stores. In Osaka and Hyogo, "HOKUO Food Service" holds the business rights and operates stores. However, the parent company of "HOKUO Food Service", "Hawksley" (operating "Hokka Hokka Tei" etc.), changed its name on July 20th last year to its original brand "ALFHEIM". Quincy Choco is 3 for 120 yen, which is amazing considering one piece is only 40 yen at this size."

On August 15, 2016, I went to Alheim to do some shopping. When I entered the store after 12 o'clock, there were almost 10 customers already there. Today's special offer was: "Quincy" 3 for 120 yen (tax included). It's a soft white bread with milk-flavored cream inside. The bread is moist and chewy. The creamy milk flavor is quite sweet and goes well with the white bread. The "Quincy Chocolate" is the same bread but with chocolate that's not too sweet. Today's special offer was also: "Salt Bread" 4 for 250 yen (tax included). It has a perfect harmony of salt and oozing butter. It was hollow inside and baked in a toaster oven, giving it a crispy texture with a slightly strong salty taste. Although there were other breads I wanted, I couldn't eat them all so I resisted. I want to go back again. Today's satisfaction rating: Quincy 3.5, Quincy Chocolate 3.5, Salt Bread 3.8. Thank you for the meal.

I found some rusk at the supermarket that didn't look like typical store-bought ones, so I decided to buy them. It turned out to be Alheim's rusk. I've been to Tennoji and Namba before, but I didn't know they also sell them at supermarkets. There were a lot of pieces in the pack for 116 yen. They can last for about a week. Each piece is small, so if you have a big mouth, you can eat it in one bite without making a mess. Normally, rusk leaves sugar crumbs and pieces after you finish eating, but with these, it's not a problem.

Recently, the prices have increased like crazy. For example, toast went from 160 to 210, which is an increase of over 25%. Before, there used to be a lot of people lining up, but it seems like not many locals are coming anymore. They're just raising the prices too much.
