Title: "Sapporo Trip in June 2022 Part 12: Ending the Sapporo Trip with a Morning Mac"
It's the last day of the Sapporo trip in June 2022. I left the Keikaku CLUB Sapporo Oyachi store at 6:15 in the morning and walked to Shin-Sapporo Station. It's about 2 kilometers, which is a good amount of exercise for a morning walk. As I approached Shin-Sapporo Station, I found a McDonald's with good timing and decided to go in to pass the time before my scheduled train. I arrived at the store at 6:44 on Monday morning, and it was about 20% full. There was only one staff member visible, who was serving customers at the drive-thru, so I had to wait for about 3 minutes. I ordered a Chicken Crispy Muffin and a hot coffee combo for 200 yen, paid with Waon. When I asked if they could put more sauce, the staff said they could, so I requested it. They brought my order to the back of the store in about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Quite fast. I would rate it 10 out of 10.
Chicken Crispy Muffin: 8 points
The combination of Chicken Crispy, muffin, lettuce, and yellow sauce. The Chicken Crispy was a bit dry and salty. However, when mixed with the muffin, lettuce, and sauce, the saltiness was reduced, and the flavors layered well and tasted delicious! But I thought the overall taste was a bit strong.
Coffee: 8 points
Slightly bitter with not much acidity, a taste that Japanese people would enjoy. Even with milk and sugar added, the bitterness remained and it tasted good.
Overall rating: 8 points
The Chicken Crispy Muffin may have been a bit too salty when I thought about it deeply, but considering the price, it's still cheap. For 200 yen, you can have a quick breakfast and a place to eat it, so I'm grateful to McDonald's. As I was leaving, a group of female students came in, so I made my escape before it got too noisy.
