This is my first visit in nearly 10 years. I went to the renowned "Nakamura Shouten" in Takatsuki City.

After I arrived, a line started to form behind me. The popularity of this place remains unchanged. The interior is still clean and well-maintained. Truly impressive for a top-notch restaurant!
I ordered the "Golden Salt Special" and it arrived in about 5 minutes. In the past, I used to think that ramen was only about tonkotsu ramen and Tenshinhan, but over the past 6-7 years, I have tried other types of ramen and my unsophisticated taste buds have improved. Now, the first bite... Delicious~ (laughs)
The double soup made with chicken and seafood, each complementing the other without overpowering, is well-balanced. It is light yet rich, and the salt sauce harmonizes perfectly with the soup, offering a smooth yet defined flavor. This ramen sets the standard for modern salt ramen. Even with many similar shops popping up nowadays, the high level of completion and deliciousness here is outstanding. The unity and cohesion are on a different level of impression. I can't believe I couldn't appreciate this deliciousness before (sweat)... My past self had truly unsophisticated taste buds (tears)... Visiting after a long time and rediscovering this deliciousness once again. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the limited-time cold salt ramen with fried chicken set. The flat noodles from Nakamura Shoten were delicious! The cold salt soup is made with Rausu kelp and dried young sardines, so it has a slightly strong salty taste, but it's a soup that you can't stop eating with a spoon... The toppings were also luxurious, with pork chashu, two types of chicken chashu, rock seaweed, menma, and plenty of green onions. I was considering getting the large size, but the regular size was satisfying enough. Towards the end, I added a little extra mustard greens from the table to the soup, and that was delicious too. My son, who was with me, ordered the hormone mixed noodles, but the noodles were different. It looked delicious with plenty of garlic.

Despite it being somewhat less crowded during the Bon holiday season, we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes as the 5th group in line, which was tough for this time of year. We ordered the recommended "Kin no Shio" ramen with a flavored egg, as well as gyoza. The soup supposedly contains seafood elements, but it was quite mild. However, this actually complemented the clear chicken broth well. The flat, thin noodles had a smooth and pleasant texture. The gyoza was decent, nothing too special.

The interior of the restaurant was not very air-conditioned, which was one of the reasons I chose the cold dish. The place was always full, confirming that the Takatsuki main store is indeed a popular spot. The ramen tasted like the cold sauce from dipping noodles, which was delicious but somewhat expected. Personally, I prefer the warm salt ramen. The fried rice had chunky meat pieces that were tasty and highly rated. They also had a soy sauce tonkotsu ramen that Kinsei doesn't offer, so I'd like to come back when it cools down.

Takatsuki's favorite restaurant. Every year, I always have their cold shio ramen with egg. The soup is made with chicken broth, seafood, and salt. It has chicken oil in it. It's always delicious. It has a Japanese taste to it. The flavor of the perilla is nice. It's perfect for today, which is 38 degrees. The flat noodles are also really good. The chashu, menma, and egg are all so tasty. I decided to visit "Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Main Store" with the intention of eating something gentle on my weakened body. I don't usually like salty ramen, but I had a feeling this place would be good. I ordered the Kin no Shio Ramen with seasoned egg and a half portion of rice. It arrived in just over 5 minutes. Many others were ordering fried rice or rice bowl sets, so I assumed they must be delicious. The salt ramen came with rare flat, medium-thick straight noodles. They were smooth, with a good chewy texture and delicious. I ordered the large size and it was served in about 7-8 minutes. The dipping sauce was really delicious and I could slurp it up without adding any soup. The noodles went down smoothly. Choosing this was definitely the right decision. But next time, I want to try the cold ramen that the lady next to me was eating. It looked so delicious! Today was also delicious!
