This is a sweet potato shop located next to the Seven-Eleven in Arakami, Shingu Town. The owner uses sweet potatoes grown in his backyard for the delicious baked sweet potatoes available here, which are only available on Saturdays. I bought some to take home and they were priced around 300 yen each, or 650 yen for two on the day I visited. The owner mentioned that he carefully nurtures the sweet potatoes grown in his backyard for a year before turning them into tasty baked sweet potatoes for sale.
