Today was a happy day for our family. Our son's couple, who had been living together for over a year, decided to officially get married, so we had a meal with them. We went to a fancy restaurant that we often go to when we want to treat ourselves. The meat there is delicious - just lightly cooked and seasoned with salt, wasabi, or soy sauce, it's tender, juicy, and not at all heavy, so you can eat as much as you want. The kimchi is also tasty! We enjoyed some drinks, and for dessert, we had "Morioka Reimen" - chewy noodles in a light soup, which was delicious! Finally, we had the restaurant staff take a commemorative photo of us. At the end of August, we will visit Sapporo to meet the other couple's parents, so tomorrow I will go to a travel agency to make arrangements.

After finishing work in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, my staff and I had dinner at a yakiniku restaurant where we saw a delicious-looking beef. We decided to try it out and were warmly welcomed. We ordered a la carte and everything was served with a smile, which was very pleasing. We ordered beef tongue with salt and tongue core. I like to eat them with sauce after quickly grilling them. The meat, said to be made from Yonezawa beef, was so delicious that we ordered seconds. We also ordered kalbi, loin, harami, and heart, and all the meats were tasty. However, the prices were on the higher side. We also tried the sushi, but I wish it had been seared as it lacked a good texture when eaten as is. For dessert, we had cold noodles, which were forgettable in terms of taste - neither good nor bad. The staff were extremely kind, making the atmosphere very pleasant. It would have been nice if they could have given more detailed recommendations on how to enjoy the food better.

Today is our 34th wedding anniversary. In the past, I used to be in charge of cooking dinner on this day, but since last year, we started using this restaurant. I made a reservation online for 6 o'clock and visited. The restaurant, which is not very big, was already quite crowded with customers. This restaurant has become popular through word of mouth, so it's safer to make a reservation in advance. We were seated at a table for two separated by curtains. We started with a toast with red wine. We ordered a selection of "Yonezawa beef," "hormone assortment," and "kimchi assortment" on a tablet. The meat here is of a very high quality! The sauce is not necessary. A light sear on the surface is enough. A little salt or wasabi. The tender meat has a good chewy texture, and when you bite into it, the meat juice spreads in your mouth, and the flavor of the meat is rich! Delicious! We enjoyed the hormone with a light sauce. We ended with "Morioka cold noodles"! The noodles were chewy and had a refreshing texture. The lightly flavored soup was very nice! Delicious! We were very satisfied and full. I heard that a delicious yakiniku restaurant opened in front of Meikohama Park Station, so as a fan of the Keihan Line, I naturally headed there! This restaurant specializes in Yonezawa beef, one of the top three wagyu beef varieties in Japan alongside Matsusaka and Kobe beef. Yonezawa beef accounts for only a small portion of the national beef production, with only a tiny percentage of "A5 grade BMS (marbling score) 10 or above" Yonezawa beef being handled at this amazing restaurant. Located in the basement of a building right in front of the station, the interior of the restaurant is chic and stylish with a black color scheme. They have counter seats for solo diners and also spacious tatami rooms at the back for larger groups. Ordering is convenient with a touch panel system, eliminating the need to call for waitstaff. Some of the menu items include A5 special selection wagyu rump for ¥1800, A5 special selection wagyu skirt steak for ¥2200, A5 special selection wagyu marbling for ¥2200, thick-cut salted tongue for ¥1800, white liver for ¥1000, fresh liver for ¥1200, kimchi assortment for ¥800, Chorogi salad for ¥750, beef tartare for ¥1200, Super Dry beer for ¥500, and highball for ¥450 and up. I started with the thick-cut tongue, grilling the thick block-like meat on the roaster. The meat is of such high quality that it can even be enjoyed raw, so I grilled it carefully to my preference, cut it into bite-sized pieces with scissors, and enjoyed it with lemon. The meat has a firm texture but melts in the mouth, with a delicate fiber structure that is delightful! The A5-grade meats here truly exude elegance! The marbling fat is rich in flavor yet of such high quality that it does not feel heavy at all. This place really does not make you feel heavy. Even though I usually struggle with fatty meats, I did not feel overwhelmed by the meat here. All I could sense was the tender texture and rich flavor! This is the true power of BMS 10 or above! The rare white liver, which could be classified as raw, was a delightful addition! And the fresh liver, which in the past I would have eaten raw, was also delicious. The kimchi had a mild spiciness but a strong umami flavor. For those who tend to feel full quickly with good quality meats, this place is perfect for you! Whether dining alone, as a couple, entertaining guests, or with a group, this restaurant is suitable for any occasion, and its convenient location in front of the station makes it even more recommended! The owner and staff are very friendly and provide excellent service, so I highly recommend giving this place a try!

After visiting the Hirakata Park, I found a yakiniku restaurant near the station. It's located underground and has private rooms, which is convenient. I ordered the recommended ★Special Select Ichibo★ Wagyu tongue with salt. The Ichibo was delicious. I quickly seared it and then wrapped it in rice - a luxurious treat. I also ordered the ★Kimchi assortment Yukhoe with two types: ★Harami Yukhoe and ★Tongue Yukhoe. The tongue was cut long, which was unique. The ★Iburigakko was thick and not too spicy. We also had two pieces of each type of meat sushi: ★Ichibo Meat Sushi, ★Tsumami Meat Sushi, ★Harami Meat Sushi, and ★Akami Meat Sushi. I prefer the marbled meat like Ichibo in meat sushi. The ★Special Select Marushin sashimi was strong in flavor. It was tender and refreshing when lightly seared. The ★Special Select Harami was thick yet tender. The ★Chateaubriand had a high proportion of lean meat, which I liked. It was quite high-quality. The ★Toro Tetchan was fatty and sizzled when cooked. It went really well with rice. We had ★Aosa seaweed tea pickles for the finishing touch. We also tried the ★Squid Kimchi, ★Ume Shiso Cold Noodles, and the ★Sato Nishiki Cherry Gelato from Yamagata Prefecture, which was delicious. The total bill for two people was 27,100 yen, with the Chateaubriand costing 6,800 yen. So, I think it's around 10,000 yen per person on average.

I visited the delicious beef restaurant "Umii Ushi" that opened on March 5, 2022 in Osaka (Hirakata)! The specialty here is the delicious Yonezawa beef from Yamagata Prefecture. The menu I tried included Tan Yukke Kimchi, assorted premium nigiri sushi (Ichibo, Marushin, Akami), a selection of three delicious cuts (Marushin, Harami, Ichibo), and Wakatama soup. All the meats were juicy and tender, especially the Harami which I really enjoyed. The meat sushi was also incredibly delicious, especially the melt-in-your-mouth Ichibo. I also tried a few drinks such as Minoh Beer Pale Ale, plum wine made with black beef, and Uji matcha liquor. The beer was fruity and refreshing, perfect for the first drink. The plum wine had a pleasant sweetness and I ended up ordering another on the rocks. The Uji matcha liquor was quite sweet, recommended for those who enjoy sweet drinks. For dessert, I had gelato made from Sato Nishiki cherries from Yamagata, which was a refreshing way to end the meal. On the evening of August 12th (Friday), my daughter and son-in-law, my son and his girlfriend, a total of six people, met up at the yakiniku restaurant "Umii Ushi" near Hirakata Park Station for tonight's dinner of yakiniku! This restaurant is known for its delicious meat! The atmosphere was lively, the conversation was fun, the drinks kept flowing, and the finale of "Morioka Reimen" at the end was amazing! After dinner, my daughter and son-in-law continued the party at our house! My son-in-law really liked the "cucumber with spicy miso" that I made, which made me happy! The next day, my wife was astonished, saying, "All the chilled highballs that were being saved are gone..."

On June 25th (Saturday), had dinner with my son and his girlfriend. Chose a yakiniku restaurant near Hirakata Park Station that opened in March. Visited at 6 pm. The meat and cold noodles were delicious, just like last time. Had a great time with beer, high-quality meat, and tasty cold noodles. Finished with a photo taken by the staff. Great experience!

I searched for a restaurant where I could have dinner after visiting HiraPa, and decided to go to this restaurant located near the station. It is like a hidden gem, located underground. I had high expectations for the type of meat I would be able to eat, as they serve Yonezawa beef. Before eating, I was surprised by the thickness of the tongue! And when I tasted it, I was surprised again! I have never had such tender tongue before. Another noteworthy dish was the Harami. It was excellent! Personally, I thought the combination of Sato Nishiki gelato and highball was superb. However, the table was a bit small for three people, and when the dishes were brought all at once, there was not enough space to place them. It might be better to consider a different serving method. If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

May 14th (Saturday) Today is our wedding anniversary. Originally planned to make a reservation at the "yakiniku" restaurant in Korien, but it was fully booked! So we thought of this restaurant! It opened on March 5th... with no reviews yet... a bit of anxiety, but the sister restaurant "Yakiniku Kurochan" has good reviews, so we made a reservation for 6 o'clock. Located on the basement floor next to the pachinko parlor in front of Hirakata Park Station. As we descended the stairs, we saw a flag of "Yonezawa beef"! The restaurant has a nice hidden atmosphere! No other customers. The friendly owner. We ordered using a tablet. Since it was our first time and we didn't know what to order, we chose the "assorted meat", "assorted hormone", and "assorted kimchi" with a glass of red wine. Cheers with wine. The meat comes with sauce (light taste), rock salt and pepper, and wasabi. As expected, they are particular about "Yonezawa beef", and the meat is delicious! Maybe slightly rare is the best? Maybe rock salt is better? The "hormone" is good with sauce? Fresh and delicious! The kimchi is also delicious! After the wine, we had sweet potato on the rocks! And for the finale, we had "Iwate cold noodles"! A different texture from Korean cold noodles. A new taste for us! Delicious! Satisfied, satisfied. Thank you for the meal! Finally, we had the owner take a commemorative photo. Next time, we definitely want to invite our son and his girlfriend!

This restaurant has become a favorite for my family gatherings! The meat here is so delicious that you don't even need sauce - just slightly seared with a bit of redness inside is the best! The alcohol goes down smoothly here. The cold noodles at the end are also delicious!

You can enjoy high-quality meat here. I thought it was a bit expensive, but it was worth treating myself once in a while. I didn't have any stomachache the next day. They provide condiments like pepper, salt, soy sauce, and wasabi, but the meat's fat mixed with wasabi creates a sophisticated flavor that I really liked. The special selection of three types of meat is delicious, and the vegetables, such as leeks and onions, are sweet and not skimped on. I had Kuppa as the finishing dish, and its gentle flavor was comforting. The restroom is very clean, and even though the restaurant is underground, the ventilation system must be strong because I didn't leave smelling like a teppanyaki grill.
