First visit to Tanma Kotanma, a high-class sandwich specialty shop using high-quality bread in Nishiku, Fukuoka City. Opened in April 2021 in Higashi-ku Doi, a high-class bread specialty shop called Naruheso Tanma, and its sister shop, a sandwich specialty shop using high-quality bread opened in October 2021, is Tanma Kotanma. Located on a corner lot in a residential area near the park south of Meihama Station. Although it is on a relatively large street, the atmosphere is calm due to being in a residential area. There is no parking lot, so you can park nearby and in front of the shop. The exterior is also stylish, and what caught my attention was the BlueRoof logo next to the display of high-class bread sandwiches and fruit sandwiches. As far as I know, BlueRoof is a shop that sells cold-pressed juices and smoothies originating in Itoshima, located near the Imuta intersection in Shima-Sakurai, Itoshima City. It is right next to ITO DESSIN, a creative ramen izakaya that I like, so the logo was very familiar to me. The fact that these carefully crafted juices are also sold raises expectations even more. Upon entering the store, you will find a stylish interior predominantly in white. It seems that eating in is not possible, but there are chairs for waiting and a counter for packaging bags and taking pictures at both ends. In front of you, there is a refrigerated showcase containing 27 types of sandwiches. Here, in addition to BlueRoof smoothies, coffee is also sold, and there is a coffee subscription service. These sandwiches, both the side dishes and the fruit sandwiches, look beautiful, and the bread is quite thick. It is probably about four slices thick, and even though it's a sandwich, it has crusts. Since it is high-quality bread, it is said that the bread itself should be enjoyed, and the crust is the most delicious, so it is like this. In addition, the ingredients are plentiful, so each sandwich has a great volume. Honestly, all of them looked delicious, so I had a hard time choosing. I bought a total of eight types: Tonkatsu, Thick Tamagoyaki, Salmon Cream Cheese, Shrimp Avocado, BLT, Banana Cookie, Fruit Mix, and Amaou White. Payment can be made using PayPay and various cards, so I paid with PayPay and had them put in a bag, then took a picture inside the store. As expected, the cross-section is beautiful. The Tonkatsu has a good balance of flavors with cabbage, and the texture of the meat is solid and delicious! The Thick Tamagoyaki has egg salad in it, so you can enjoy two types of eggs. The Salmon Cream Cheese is full of ingredients, and the salmon and cream cheese stand out, making it delicious. The Shrimp Avocado, in addition to shrimp and avocado, also has tomatoes and lettuce, which work well together, and the seasoning is good and delicious. The BLT has egg salad in it, so it is very voluminous. The Banana Cookie is a combination of banana and Oreo, I think, but the combination of cocoa cookie, banana, and whipped cream is exquisite. The Fruit Mix contains pineapple, kiwi, Amaou strawberries, grapefruit, plenty of whipped cream, and the refreshing sweetness and acidity of the fruits are well received by the bread, making it delicious without being too sweet. The Amaou White is Amaou strawberries and whipped cream, and the refreshing sweetness and acidity of the Amaou strawberries with whipped cream and bread are delicious. By the way, the Amaou Black is the same as Amaou strawberries and whipped cream, but using chocolate bread, so I would like to try this one next time. I visited Nishibu Sports Park in Nishiku, and the sandwiches were so delicious that I completely forgot to take pictures, so I barely managed to take a picture of the Amaou White I had at the end (;^ω^) There may be some variations in the types of sandwiches depending on the season, and the level of the sandwiches as sandwiches is also high because the bread is delicious, so I was satisfied. I would like to visit again when I go out to the western area. Thank you for the meal <m(_ _)m> If you have the opportunity, please try it out (^-^) #TanmaKotanma #NaruhesoTanma #Sandwich #FruitSandwich #HighQualityBread #Meihama #FukuokaGourmet #HighQualityBread #RamenLoverGarusoSan

I finally got to visit a shop I've been wanting to go to for a while. I was able to stop by while on a work trip and had lunch there! There were so many options to choose from, but I ended up getting the Mixed Sandwich for 300 yen. The bread was just to my liking, and my lunch break at work turned into a blissful time! ❤️

The shop is within walking distance from Neihamma Station. There are plenty of sandwiches in the showcase. It seems like a sandwich shop that used to specialize in high-quality bread, so the bread is extremely delicious! The bread is soft, moist, and slightly sweet, with a variety of fillings. There are plenty of fillings, from side dishes to fruit sandwiches. This time, I tried the Tonkatsu for 350 yen, BLT for 350 yen, and Salmon Cream Cheese for 450 yen. I bought them while going to play at the nearby park with my son! They were all delicious and perfect for playing at the park! I will definitely visit again!

I watched the local TV show featuring the restaurant "tanma co tanma" and thought "it looks good", but when I checked their Tabelog page, I noticed they don't have a parking lot, so I initially gave up on visiting. For those familiar with Fukuoka, it's located near the main branch of "Takayama Shiten" in Meihama. Since I had nothing to pawn and didn't want to park at a coin parking lot just to buy a sandwich, I hesitated. Parking on the street is not only illegal but also risky as I might get a ticket, and it's quite a distance to walk from my relatives' house in Meihama on the opposite side of the station. However, I found a video on Instagram showing the location of a parking lot called "Meihama S.T Parking" about 30 meters down the road towards the station from the restaurant. It's a monthly parking lot with only one space available, and it's shared with the restaurant. There is a restaurant called "Restaurant Yuzunoki" across the street, which serves as a landmark. The restaurant is compact, and due to the current situation, I recommend checking the number of customers inside before entering. I purchased three items from the restaurant this time: ① BLT for 350 yen, which includes bacon, lettuce, tomato, purple cabbage, egg, salad, and carrot; ② orange for 400 yen; and ③ tuna for 300 yen, which includes tuna and cabbage. The BLT sandwich had a substantial amount of filling, and the bread was heavy with a strong aroma and punch. The flavor was simple, relying more on the natural taste of the ingredients. Adding mustard mayo didn't quite match the original taste, making it seem like the flavors didn't blend well. The orange sandwich had significantly less whipped cream compared to other places, which made the taste less enjoyable. The orange had a low acidity and a prominent sweetness, but the lack of whipped cream made it less appealing. The tuna sandwich, on the other hand, tasted like canned tuna but was well complemented by the spicy mustard mayo, black pepper, and crunchy cabbage. However, the sandwich felt too homely, and the bread was too soft and lacked a distinctive taste despite being made from premium bread. Overall, the sandwiches were decent but lacked a certain finesse in terms of flavor and presentation. Personal Tabelog rating: 3.3

Niecehama Station South Exit is about a 5-6 minute walk away, and there is a cute sandwich specialty shop with a blue exterior. They also offer drinks and have a small seating area for dining in. It used to be a miscellaneous goods store before. I often pass by this shop by car, but never had the chance to buy anything. (^0^;) I stopped by on my way back from a nearby errand. They had a variety of deli-style and fruit-based sandwiches that looked delicious. ^^ - I bought 4 deli-style sandwiches, prices include tax. - Pork Cutlet (350 yen) - My husband, who loves tonkatsu, said the pork was delicious and the sauce was tasty. He even preferred this cutlet sandwich over those from famous shops. ^^ - BLT (300 yen) - Bacon, lettuce, carrots, and more were generously packed in this sandwich. The bread was also tasty. The only feedback was that the flavor was a bit mild. - Thick Rolled Omelette (300 yen) - I shared this with someone, and it was slightly sweet with a good balance of thick rolled omelette and mayo mixed boiled eggs. This was also delicious with a generous filling all the way to the edges. - Shrimp Cutlet (350 yen) - I shared this one too. The shrimp cutlet had plenty of shrimp and was delicious. This also had a generous filling to the edges. After researching later, I found out that the bread used is from a shop with an interesting name that has expanded nationwide. All the sandwiches were delicious, but my husband, who tried all 4, ranked them as "Pork Cutlet" -> "Thick Rolled Omelette" -> "Shrimp Cutlet" -> "BLT". Each sandwich had a satisfying portion, and even my husband was full after just 2, making them quite affordable compared to others. They were tastier than expected, so I'll have to visit again. ♫

The former miscellaneous goods store has been beautifully renovated into a cute sandwich shop. When I arrived at the opening time, there was a line of 5-6 people. The showcase displayed a variety of colorful sandwiches, making it fun to choose. However, I was shocked when I saw the prices... Fruit sandwiches were all priced at 500 yen, which seems a bit too expensive, don't you think? I decided to buy a fig sandwich. It was very delicious, but at 500 yen each, I found it hard to consider buying it again. I also purchased a Tandoori chicken sandwich for 300 yen. It had plenty of shredded purple cabbage and carrots, with an egg sandwiched in between, creating a well-balanced taste. The Tandoori chicken was juicy, tender, and very delicious! The flavors were not too strong overall, which I personally enjoyed. I felt that this sandwich was worth the price. One notable aspect is the soft and moist bread that tastes delicious. The quality is high. I hope they reconsider the prices of the fruit sandwiches, as 500 yen for kiwi or banana seems unreasonable. Simple sandwiches like egg salad or salted chicken look delicious and are reasonably priced, so I will definitely be back for those again!

Located at a 4-minute walk from Namihama Station, on the street where Takayama Shiten is situated. It is a sister store of the food bread specialty shop Naruheso Tanma in Higashi Ward. Opened on October 1, 2021. Only available for takeout, no seating in. The showcase displays visually appealing sandwiches such as fruit sandwiches and deli sandwiches. Tuna sandwich for 200 yen: Tuna with cabbage and a hint of black pepper, simple and delicious. The bread is soft and moist, matching well with the filling. Shrimp cutlet sandwich for 350 yen: Purple cabbage with shrimp cutlet and tartar sauce, the tartar sauce is refreshing with a generous amount of onions. Pineapple fruit sandwich for 500 yen: The price of fruit sandwiches made me do a double-take, but as a pineapple lover, I chose this one. Sweet and juicy. I also want to try the sold-out shrimp avocado sandwich and salmon crispy sandwich. They also sell accessories, lots of cute items. Thank you for the meal.
