On my day off, I was invited by a local friend to visit Kintetsu Yao after a long time. There are various types of stores in Kintetsu Yao, but this time I was in the mood for meat, so we went to "Yakiniku Wacchoi"! It was crowded early on a Sunday, and we were welcomed warmly. We started with a toast with beer. Both of us don't like horumon (offal), so we mainly ordered meat dishes! We ordered Wacchoi Kalbi, Harami, Sirloin, Tan Kalbi, and Pork Kalbi (which seems quite rare). Each plate had about 5 pieces, so we could enjoy various types of meat, which was nice! Cooking and eating over charcoal is a great pleasure. With a shichirin (charcoal brazier), it can be difficult to adjust the heat, and cooking can take longer as time goes on. But Wacchoi seemed to use good charcoal that maintained its heat until the end! They even saw us off until we were out of sight and sprayed Fabreze, showing their attentive customer service, which is a key to their popularity. When I come back to Yao, I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

This time, I tried: - Beef heart sashimi - Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) - Thick-cut tongue with salt - Top tongue with salt - Umami green onion - Maru-shin (beef sinew) - Miso harami (skirt steak marinated in miso) The atmosphere of this yakiniku place is great! The staff recommended adding green onions to the thick-cut tongue with salt, and it was delicious! The beef heart sashimi I had at the beginning was also tasty! I love this yakiniku restaurant ❤️ Not only the meat grilled over charcoal was delicious, but also the fruit tomatoes, asparagus, and shiitake mushrooms were tasty too (^^)

A friend really wanted to eat using a charcoal grill, so I searched online and finally found a place nearby called Wacchoi. It was not very crowded due to the Bon holiday season. We ordered recommended dishes like Kalbi, loin, and harami with Wacchoi, as well as thick tongue salt and fatty intestine. The meat was fresh and tender, with a not-too-sweet and refreshing sauce. We also ordered various other dishes and enjoyed them. Lastly, we tried the half portion of cold noodles, which had thick and chewy noodles that were excellent with the soup. However, the bill came out to be a bit expensive at 16,000 yen for Yao city standards.

Hello there. It's the formidable Yao here. When you search for "Yao x Watchoi," you'll find many restaurants, but it seems there are only two now. I visited "Yakiniku Watchoi," which is affiliated with the famous restaurant "Enya." There are a total of 26 dining establishments in this area, including two yakiniku restaurants. I visited the place near closing time after finishing my second round of the day. The charcoal is not made of bamboo skewers! When you let the fat blend in, smoke rises. However, the ventilation system these days is amazing. Lately, I've been hooked on beef tongue. When you eat this... it's amazing. The crunchy texture was also delicious. We chatted while nibbling on bean sprouts. It's fun to venture out of the city once in a while! Thank you for the meal. Well then, chasing two hares, you'll catch neither. Afterwards, Teppodon Tsuboya and I took a taxi to the front of Kintetsu Yao Station. We decided to continue our drinking tour around Yao Station. The first place we headed to was the charcoal-grilled yakiniku restaurant "Wacchoi." It was located under the elevated Kintetsu train tracks across from Seibu Department Store. When we entered the restaurant, it was quite crowded. We were seated at a table near the entrance and placed our order. We ordered the beef tongue with salt, special selected beef loin, and top quality beef tripe. We were promptly served with draft beer and made a toast. Cheers! The yakiniku was cooked over charcoal. The beef tongue, beef loin, and beef tripe were all surprisingly delicious. They were tender and had no unpleasant odor. However, the beef loin seemed more like belly meat in terms of marbling, which was a bit disappointing. The portion size was also quite small. It felt like each serving was only around 70-80 grams. Additionally, the attitude of the staff was not the best. They seemed a bit rough and it made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Despite the delicious taste of the meat, the overall experience was not satisfying enough to make me want to come back. That was the impression I got from the charcoal-grilled yakiniku restaurant "Wacchoi."

Yakiniku "Wacchoi" is amazing, they serve 200g of black wagyu beef offcuts with a drink included. It's generous of them to give you 200g of meat at "Mamekachi". Plus, they cook it on a special charcoal grill, which is a fantastic performance. You might have to share a table at "Mamekachi", but it's better than waiting in a long line. This black wagyu beef is the real deal, the most tender meat I've ever had. Meat lovers, you have to try it at this bar. You will definitely be satisfied.

But, I still think JUICY is the best. The atmosphere at Wacchoi is nice and it's a good place for a date. The beer was 525 yen even though it wasn't in a mug, so I gave it 3 points. Here are some photos of the exterior and the drink menu. The bean sprouts were 400 yen and it was a good amount and tasty, a good deal. The salted tongue was 1300 yen and it was thick and very delicious. For 1300 yen, I think it's worth it. We ordered the special double for 3000 yen today, and I think it's a great deal. The meat had just the right amount of fat and was delicious. If you don't mind which cut of meat, I recommend this. The hormone assortment was 1200 yen, and I can't remember the price but it was liver. This was the most delicious - the liver was so fresh and tasty without any unpleasant smell. Yao City, Mitsucho "Yakiniku Wacchoi" Today, my family and I decided to try a new yakiniku restaurant near Kintetsu Yao Station called "Yakiniku Wacchoi". Wacchoi is a chain that includes horumon shops, izakayas, and dining bars, and we were curious to see how this one compares. We visited without a reservation and were warmly greeted by a cheerful female staff who seated us at a table. The interior of the restaurant had a chic and stylish atmosphere, with about half of the tables occupied. The menu had a variety of options, including the recommended special kalbi and rib loin core, which we decided to try. We also ordered some classic dishes like bean sprouts, diced raw liver, and black wagyu special tongue. The dishes were all beautifully presented and tasted delicious, with the diced raw liver being particularly fresh and sweet. The special kalbi and rib loin core were generously marbled and flavorful, though a bit oily. We also tried the "Yao's Strongest Yukke" and the Morioka cold noodles as a refreshing finish to our meal. Overall, we were impressed with the food, the atmosphere, and the service at Yakiniku Wacchoi. It was a satisfying dining experience in Yao City.

I came to eat with a friend who loves yakiniku. We usually go to all-you-can-eat restaurants and order the buffet, but today we were able to eat without worrying about money. Both my friend and I love salted beef tongue, so we started with that. We used to eat over 10 servings each in the past, so we really enjoy it. As we get older, we are starting to appreciate the deliciousness of cold noodles and hormone dishes as well, so we are not just all about meat, meat, meat anymore (laughs).

The place is fancy, but the meat is good although a bit pricey. Not very cost-effective. The service is energetic as always, but sometimes a bit too much. But I guess that's their selling point, right? As for the food, they have a variety of rare cuts which is nice. The marbling was good. However, it's not exactly budget-friendly. Unfortunately, the rice was a bit too dry. Please pay more attention to that. Other than that, everything was good, but the rice deducts 50 points. Rice is just as important as the meat in a BBQ restaurant, isn't it? I will visit again, thank you.

I had a work-related event in Yao and used it for a banquet. A friend who often uses this restaurant recommended it. The atmosphere was lively with many customers and friendly staff. The meat dishes were particularly good. I didn't have my phone with me so I couldn't take any photos. I didn't know the prices of individual items as I left it to others to order, but it seemed a bit pricey. They served a huge portion of rice, just like in Japanese folktales. The kimchi was delicious and went well with the rice. We ended up drinking for over 4 hours, so the bill came to almost 10,000 yen, mainly because of the alcohol. If we had just eaten meat, it would have been around 5,000 yen. The alcohol was a bit expensive, especially if you ordered a double shot of shochu on the rocks. But overall, it was a fun experience.

Yakiniku Watcchoi in Yao seems like a town that loves yakiniku. The staff here are a bit pushy and lack hospitality, but you can tell they are trying their best. The food is delicious, especially the yukke and chili hot pot. However, the drink selection is lacking. It's a bit expensive, so it's not a place you can visit often. Overall, it's a good restaurant but has some room for improvement.
