On the way to the lavender fields in Sapporo, we found this restaurant. We arrived just in time for lunch, so there were few people, which was lucky. Visited around 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday. The seating consists of 4-person tables spread out across the floor and tatami area. The interior is a bit cluttered, but not necessarily dirty. I ordered the extra-large portion of the Morimacho soba (880 yen + 200 yen) which took about 15 minutes to be served. The soba noodles were greyish and medium-thin, with a slightly sweet taste. The dipping sauce was also a bit sweet, and came with green onions, wasabi, and salt as condiments. The soba broth served alongside was light. The loud J-POP music playing in the background was a bit overwhelming, and the customer service was not particularly smooth. The parking space in front of the restaurant is narrow and difficult to maneuver due to its location near an intersection (I wonder how they handle this in snowy conditions...). The restaurant seems to focus on their soba noodles and pork dishes, but it doesn't seem to have many repeat customers.

The Obon holiday is over and it's back to work mode starting today. I had some errands in Minami Ward, so I stopped by for a late lunch around 1pm. There were no other customers at that time, and my order of pork rice bowl and mini country soba arrived quickly. The pork bowl was fragrant and the soba had a nice flavor, both were delicious.

I've visited the main store in Shibetsu before, but this branch is my first visit. The interior has table seating and sunken kotatsu-style seating, with a layout reminiscent of a yakiniku restaurant. We arrived for an early lunch, so there were no customers at the time, but by the time we left, the parking space was full, indicating its popularity. As the name suggests, this place serves "butadon" (pork bowl) and "Mashu soba." They offer set menus with a half-size butadon or mini Mashu soba for those who want to try both. I opted for the "MIX Butadon and Mini Inaka Soba Set (1,280 yen)" which includes both types of pork and soba. It was ready in about 8 minutes. The pork in the butadon was nicely grilled and the sauce was slightly sweet, making it a good match with the rice. The wasabi on top of the meat added a nice touch. Both types of pork were delicious, but personally, I preferred the fatty belly over the loin. The mini Inaka soba had a slightly firm texture, typical of countryside soba. As a fan of this style of soba, I enjoyed it, but tastes may vary. While I found the prices slightly high, the generous portion of the butadon makes it worth it, especially for those who prefer pork over soba.

I went there because I saw it in a magazine. Be careful because Google Maps is not reliable. I ordered the mixed pork bowl, and I thought the loin was delicious, but the belly was also tasty! There is sansho pepper on the table, so if you sprinkle it lightly, it tastes even better. It's better to replace the plastic cup and the disposable chopsticks that seem to have been bought at a 100 yen shop. LOL

It connects Minami Ward and Nishi Ward, where you can enjoy a mini forest bathing experience from spring to autumn. Here, there is a restaurant with a parking lot in front of it. While they mainly recommend pork bowls, they also seem to serve soba noodles featuring the word "Mashu" prominently. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is filled with the aroma of the sauce being grilled. During the winter season, the restaurant only operates during the day. I usually get the pork bowl with a mini soba, but this time I wanted a regular size soba, so I used a full ticket to add a medium pork bowl. The pork was tender and delicious with a sweet and savory sauce.
