I'm grateful that they were open on January 1, 2023. They close in one hour, with last orders taken 30 minutes before closing. I wanted to try the yakiniku trial course, but it was not available, so I opted for the next cheapest course. Since time was limited, they brought the food quickly, and I enjoyed eating heartily. The customers and staff were about half foreigners and half Japanese! The food was quite delicious, and the staff were nice. With limited time and a full stomach, I took the garlic rice to go and enjoyed it at the hotel. The total cost for the course, a single order of tongue salt, and a beer was a little over 10,000 yen per person. The restaurant had a chic and luxurious feel, and it was in a private room. I wish I could have savored and enjoyed the meal more slowly. Thank you for the meal!

I passed by NGK and turned left, heading east. In this area, there are many yakiniku restaurants scattered around. I aimed for a restaurant that had caught my attention before. Before the pandemic, the same restaurant in Hozoji Yokocho was bustling with inbound tourists. I had heard rumors that it was very popular. At that time, I thought it must be expensive, so I ignored it. The other day, I noticed the existence of the Namba branch. When I looked at the lunch menu, it was within my budget. - Harami Set Meal: 1,408 yen - Same (1.5 times): 1,738 yen - Same (2 times): 2,068 yen - Black Wagyu Yakiniku Set Meal: 1,848 yen - Special Matsusaka Beef Set Meal: 2,750 yen Of course, I chose the cheapest option. I was guided to a private room for four people, a chic space. The atmosphere was sophisticated, just like the exterior of the restaurant. The floor, walls, and ceiling were designed to create a calm and adult space. Perfect for dates, business entertainment, affairs, or collusion. First, the sauce, side dish (kimchi), and beef fat were served. I ignited the gas burner and waited for a while. Oh, soup, rice, meat, and vegetables all arrived at once. The main dish was placed on a high-quality ceramic plate. The meat portion was about 80g to 90g, well, considering it's Matsusaka beef, one should not expect too much. I prepared the grill with beef fat and started a solo yakiniku competition. Delicious! Of course, it was tasty, being a prestigious brand of beef. I tried eating it with a rare center and my usual way of grilling, and my favorite "well-done" style. The latter was definitely more delicious. Rice and soup were refillable, but I didn't need it as the meat was gone. Honestly, the portion was not enough. However, the price for 1.5 times or more was challenging for lunch. A dilemma arose. In conclusion, for a lunch yakiniku, both taste and portion are important. There is no need to stick to brand beef. Yakiniku parties should be held at night with close friends or family. I paid quickly with PayPay. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant for lunch, thinking that since it's a well-known place and they serve Matsusaka beef, it wouldn't disappoint. However, the service was terrible - no one seemed to be around to help. The Matsusaka beef itself didn't taste good at all, it lacked flavor no matter how much I chewed. They provided salt, soy sauce, and wasabi on the side, but even those didn't taste good. I saw on TripAdvisor that they were ranked number one in Japan for a few years, but I wonder if it's because of overseas customers. I won't be visiting again. I ended up leaving in the middle of the meal and went to another restaurant for lunch.

After leaving the Sakaba Yamato, I headed to a massage shop on the B2F of the station building for some early care as I won't be able to come back this year. The massage ended around 1:30 PM. Usually, I would have lunch at the station building, but on this day, I wanted to go to a ramen shop in Senichimae, so I hurried to Namba using the subway because walking wouldn't make it in time for lunch. Unfortunately, the shop I wanted to go to had a sign saying it was closed for preparation. I then decided to try another yakiniku restaurant, Matsuzaka Beef Yakiniku M Namba Store, which caught my eye. The sign outside suggested that they serve affordable yakiniku lunches. I first went to the ramen shop I originally wanted to visit, but it turned out they were only open until 10 PM. Since the evening menu seemed expensive and I wouldn't be able to go, I decided to try their lunch menu instead. When I entered the yakiniku restaurant, I was led to a luxurious booth by a female staff member in a dimly lit, upscale atmosphere. I had initially planned on getting the Harami set (100g), but when I asked the waitress about the difference between black wagyu and regular wagyu (100g), she explained that Kalbi is from foreign cattle, while black wagyu is of course Japanese and has a different deliciousness. So, I chose the Black Wagyu Yakiniku Set for 1848 yen (tax included). By the way, they served Premium Malt's beer, so I had a glass of water first, and later ordered a Lemon Sour (Strong) like the one at the bar. After a short wait, the meal arrived. It included black wagyu, rice, grilled vegetables (only cabbage), Matsuzaka beef tail soup, and kimchi. Let's eat the meat now. I like my meat well-done, so I cooked it thoroughly. The gas heat was too strong, so the surface burned quickly before the inside was cooked, but it was still better than eating it raw. When I tried it, it was just okay. Having visited different yakiniku restaurants in Gifu during the state of emergency, I found this one to be average for the price. Perhaps if you want to eat delicious meat, you need to spend more money. Well, at least I got to visit a fancy restaurant that I normally wouldn't go to, so that's a plus.

Matsuzaka beef yakiniku M, located near Nankai Namba, is a Japanese modern themed restaurant with three floors, offering private rooms and group reservations. As there were two of us, we opted for a private room on the first floor. The restaurant opens at 5 o'clock, and when we arrived right at opening, it was already full of customers. They are currently operating in two shifts at this time. We ordered the recommended items: otoro kalbi, kainomi, special loin, ranichi, sankaku bara, special tongue, kimchi assortment, sanchu, wakame salad, beef tendon soup, and stone-grilled garlic rice. The staff were very unique and provided recommendations and eating tips throughout the meal. We mainly ordered black wagyu beef, and each dish was tender, juicy, and delicious, allowing us to eat plenty. The restaurant is small, but it is a casual and easy place to enjoy a meal.

I am "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. After laughing at Yoshimoto Shinkigeki, I got hungry and jumped in! It's a dimly lit type of shop. I ordered the Harami set meal and a half-size thick-cut tongue steak. The half-size thick-cut tongue steak is limited, so I asked them to start grilling it right away. Alright, let's grill it quickly~ (`ー´)ノ After watching Yoshimoto, I've become a full-fledged Kansai person! The Harami and tongue were delicious, but the set meal only came with a little bit of vegetables, rice, and wakame soup. I wish there was at least one more side dish. Thank you for the meal.

Today is "Meat Day (29)", so I visited my favorite yakiniku restaurant, but there was a wait for several groups. I decided to go to "Matsusaka Beef Yakiniku M", a stylish yakiniku restaurant I used to frequent. The lunch menu starts at 1280 yen, but I ordered the "Special Matsusaka Beef Set (2750 yen tax included)". The small private rooms give a slightly cramped feeling, but it's perfect for a date. First, they served soup and kimchi. The soup was "Niku-Sui" with plenty of Matsusaka beef tendon, incredibly delicious! The main meat arrived, "Ultimate Triangle Belly and Top Kalbi," explained by the waiter. They recommended eating it with garlic salt. The meat was beautiful, tender, and flavorful. Grilling it was a delight! The grilled vegetables were limited, so I ordered an extra "M's Kalbi Yakiniku". The meat was marinated in sauce and served at a lower price, but still Matsusaka beef. It was delicious with a slightly thick sauce. Finally, after satisfying our appetites, we paid the bill. The staff were all very polite and even escorted us to the exit. Thank you for the meal!

I used it for lunch. I ordered a set that was double the amount of harami. Kimchi, rice, and soup were included in the set, and I was told that I could have refills of the soup and rice (although I didn't get refills, the soup was also delicious). I was satisfied with the portion size and the meat was delicious. The atmosphere was like a private room, comfortable and clean, so I was satisfied.

My family grows rice together with all relatives. Of course, the children also help out. Planting rice is no exception. And if they work hard, they get a reward... for lunch, we have kushikatsu. We buy sweets in Uehonmachi, and for dinner, we have yakiniku. Minami without inbound tourists. We tried to visit a famous restaurant that would be bustling with foreign tourists if it weren't for Corona. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful. The staff, including the welcome, were very friendly. The children enjoyed the soft and juicy meat that they could eat deliciously. They were delighted to experience grilling the meat. Of course, my wife, who loves meat, seemed very satisfied... The bill was 16k for a family of four. This is cheap... Yeah, this meat at this price is definitely worth it. Come to think of it, I hadn't eaten Matsusaka beef until I became an adult...

I visited a restaurant in the Namba area around lunchtime (after 2 pm). Across the street, there was a chain restaurant that I had never been to, but I have frequented that chain before for lunch. I was torn between which one to go to, but since I wasn't very hungry, I decided to try the one where I could eat a small amount of delicious meat. The last order was at 2:30 pm, and I decided to go in. I ordered the Matsusaka beef lean meat and Matsusaka beef marbled meat set meal. It was priced between just lean meat and just marbled meat set meals, which I thought was clever. Rice was free for refills. The lunch set included meat, rice, kimchi, cabbage, plates of salt, soy sauce, and sauce, and a plate of wasabi and beef fat. They explained that you should spread the beef fat before grilling for better results. The meat was served in 3 slices each, with the lean meat labeled as "Rank 1" and the marbled meat as "M Special Roast." The lean meat was not particularly impressive at first, but it had a nice umami flavor when chewed and was quite delicious. The M Special Roast, on the other hand, looked as delicious as it tasted. It was easy to chew, juicy, and had an exquisite flavor. The sauce was sweet but elegant, the soy sauce was good, and the salt was perfect for this level of meat. I thought that the M Special Roast tasted better with soy sauce or salt rather than the sauce. The soup was decent, probably made from an animal base. The kimchi was forgettable but tasty, although I wondered how well it paired with this level of meat. The cabbage was typical of Japanese yakiniku culture, but the quality was good. I also had a beer, so my lunch exceeded 3000 yen after tax. I couldn't help but think that foreign tourists who come here might easily spend a lot more on additional high-quality meat. The restaurant had semi-private rooms, giving an impression of being narrow but separated from the aisle and neighboring seats, making it suitable for private gatherings. The meat was tempting enough to make me want to try it again at night, despite the higher prices.

Due to the reservation being full at the Hasshoji Temple store, we went to the Namba store. We were led to the second floor, where we sat down. Hmm? We were the only Japanese in this unique space. Osaka, being the city with the most foreign tourists, truly feels worldwide. Surrounded by well-behaved people, we had a great time. The meat, claiming to be Matsusaka beef, was incredibly delicious. The best part was the excellent service from the staff, especially the male staff member from Kagawa who managed the second floor! It was fantastic. We will definitely come back to enjoy that service and delicious Matsusaka beef again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
