It is not certain if this place still exists, but the first Saizeriya in Hokkaido was in Shin-Sapporo. It feels like a piece of history when you think that Saizeriya in Hokkaido started from this place. Instead of my usual order, I tried the wakame salad, water buffalo mozzarella caprese, and cod roe sauce shirii-style. The wakame salad had more dressing than in the menu photo, showing their generous spirit. You can feel the pioneer spirit here. Even though salads can be boring, I enjoyed it without getting tired thanks to the dressing. The water buffalo mozzarella caprese was great, the cheese was amazing. The satisfaction of the rich and creamy cheese for only 280 yen was impressive. In Italy, water buffalo mozzarella cheese is common, so I was amazed to taste its rich flavor at this price. Thank you for the meal. Trying different menus leads to new discoveries. Pioneer spirit!

In August 2023, I visited a new 5th floor restaurant in Duo-1 for dinner and drinks while trying to save money. It was past 7 pm on a weekend, and the place was bustling with people of all ages. Many customers were dining alone. It seems like the menu has been reduced, as my favorite salami was no longer available, which was disappointing. However, the prices are still surprisingly cheap. I ordered a small decanter of white wine for 200 yen, which was a good deal. For a light snack, I had the "Mozzarella Caprese" for 280 yen, which was fresh and delicious. As a main dish, I tried the famous "Milanese-style Doria" for 300 yen, which had a rich flavor and a hint of saffron. It was slightly spicy with a touch of chili and hot sauce. I ended up ordering an additional glass of white wine for 100 yen because the small decanter wasn't enough. Despite feeling a bit tipsy, the total cost was still under 1000 yen, making it a great value for money. It was a fantastic dining experience.

I recently discovered Saizeriya and was amazed by how affordable it is, so I visited my third location. You can order a whole bottle of wine for only 2000 yen, and a nice salad for less than 300 yen. It's even cheaper than buying from a convenience store. The wine is chilled and tastes better than what you'd get at a convenience store. The restaurant can get noisy with high school students, but the seating is spacious enough to not be bothered. Two adults can eat and drink to their heart's content for only 4000 yen. It's truly incredible.

This Italian restaurant is more casual than fancy, making it a great place to enjoy a meal while playing a game of spot the mistake. I always end up ordering the warm salad with tender green peas after watching Egachannel. It might sound like a dish for girls with a glass of wine, but I want to try this combination next time.

Visited the Saizeriya Shin-Sapporo Station Building for the first time on 11/13/2022. I was aware of its existence, but since it is located adjacent to a department store, I always saw it crowded with customers and tended to avoid it. Today, it was raining heavily and by 1 pm, I was feeling very hungry. So, I decided to enter the restaurant. The interior was packed with customers, so I quickly placed my order while looking at the menu.
- Chicken Caesar Salad (L) 500 yen: The large size was very generous with plenty of vegetables and crispy chicken, very delicious.
- Devil-style Hamburger 500 yen: The minced onions added a nice touch, and the hamburger was juicy and tasty. Mixing the half-cooked egg and hamburger sauce with rice was very satisfying.
- Popcorn Shrimp 300 yen: Freshly fried and hot, very tasty. The shrimp was small but well-portioned, and the price was very reasonable.
- Cheese-filled Milanese-style Doria 400 yen: Plenty of cheese with a rich flavor. The combination with vegetables was great, and ordering a salad was a good choice.
The dishes were served one after another in just about 10 minutes after ordering, which was much faster than expected. All dishes were served in about 20 minutes. Despite being almost full, the service was polite. It's no wonder this Saizeriya is always crowded. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

On a holiday evening, my wife and I decided to explore the city using the Donichika pass in Shin Sapporo. We ended up at "Saizeriya Shin Sapporo Station Building Store" where they offered unlimited drinks at the drink bar for only 300 yen. The place was a mix of young people playing card games and students studying, along with adults enjoying drinks in the bright evening light. We ordered a Kirin Ichiban beer for 400 yen and some snacks like crispy potatoes, spicy chicken, spaghetti pomodoro, and buffalo mozzarella. The pasta was just okay, but the buffalo mozzarella was soft and delicious with a hint of olive oil. We also ordered a decanter of red wine for 400 yen. After enjoying our drinks, we paid around 2,500 yen for our meal. Saizeriya's diverse usage purposes, from lunch to relaxation to drinks and dinner, seem to be expanding, and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you for the meal!

I had some errands in Shin-Sapporo and ended up staying out late, so we decided to grab dinner. We were unsure what to eat as we didn't have any particular cravings due to our age. I felt like having pizza, but my partner suggested that we could save money by going to Saizeriya. We decided to give it a try for a change of pace.
Saizeriya is located on the 5th floor of the "Duo 1" complex building in Shin-Sapporo. The interior of the restaurant looked similar to other Saizeriya locations. When we looked at the menu, we were surprised by the prices. Doria for 300 yen, pasta for 500 yen - it was hard to believe these prices in this day and age. I couldn't help but worry if the restaurant was making enough profit with such low prices.
We ordered a salad to share, and my partner got pizza and pumpkin soup, while I ordered the crispy chicken. The food was served promptly, and the operation seemed efficient despite the limited number of staff. The quality of the food was decent, considering the prices. The portion sizes were generous, and it was satisfying for adult men.
In the end, we ordered all that and it only cost us 1,550 yen, which is cheaper than having ramen. It's amazing that we could get a good amount of vegetables and protein at such a low price. Although we may not visit this restaurant often, it's a great place to fill up your stomach quickly and affordably. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

I finally tried the squid ink spaghetti that I've been wanting to eat for a while at Saizeriya. It was incredibly delicious! I also had cold pumpkin soup and garlic toast. I definitely want to eat it again! ( ◠‿◠ )

I came to Sapporo with a bit of worry because I had some things to take care of. It seems like this task won't be finished in one go, so I need to be prepared for a mid-term battle. I have a complex feeling about it, but there's no other choice. I had lunch with two other people involved here. It wasn't as cheerful as usual, with about 90% students and older ladies in the restaurant. My wife ordered for me without asking, and I got a pasta dish with onion sauce hamburger. I have a feeling I won't be able to finish it. The salad and soup were just okay for the price. The pasta was not too fancy, but it was decent. The hamburger was quite meaty and tasty. Overall, for a one-coin lunch, it's a decent place to eat.

I visited while I was in Shin-Sapporo for errands. The wine here is incredibly cheap! The food menu is also delicious. I'm considering buying a bottle of hot sauce for 500 yen to take home next time. Wine 250ml decanter 200 yen, Milan-style doria 300 yen, Spicy chicken 300 yen.

When I go to Shin-Sapporo, I tend to go around and eat various things and buy things, so I often forget to post updates (;´∀`) This was a little while ago, maybe in September? I had lunch with a friend at Saizeriya. Saizeriya's lunch menu includes 3 types of spaghetti, 3 types of doria, and 3 types of meat dishes, for a total of 9 varieties, all with salad and soup included, for only 500 yen! First, a mini salad is served, and water and soup are self-service. I had the "Tarako and Shrimp Doria," which had turmeric rice with a small amount of shrimp and a bechamel sauce with the flavor of cod roe. It was quite delicious (#^.^#). My friend had the "Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Eggplant." She said she didn't need the eggplant, but still enjoyed it with grated cheese on top. When I go to Saizeriya, I always feel like having wine. Next time, I want to enjoy Saizeriya near my house while drinking Magnum! Thank you, Saizeriya Shin-Sapporo! ♪

Today in October 2021, I went to have drinks and food in Shin-Sapporo from noon. It's hard to find a place to drink during the afternoon, but this place is very charming. I liked the white wine here. We ordered broccoli that was very tender, gratin, sausages, and other snacks. Except for the tender broccoli, everything was delicious! I will definitely visit again. ♫

Established in May of Showa 48, Saizeriya Co., Ltd., a chain of Italian restaurants, has a branch located in Sapporo city. This branch is situated on the 5th floor of the commercial facility Duo I, directly connected to JR Shin-Sapporo Station, Tozai Line Shin-Sapporo Station, and Shin-Sapporo Bus Terminal. The location of the restaurant is right in front of Bikkuri Donkey, through the connecting passage with Duo II. On October 24, 2021, after 4 pm, during a Sunday afternoon drink crawl in Shin-Sapporo Dungeon, the second stop was here at the affordable and convenient Saizeriya. With limited options for drinking establishments during lunch and early evening hours, this time slot is a tricky one for drink crawlers. At Saizeriya, most customers during this time are young people. Upon being seated, the menu was promptly provided by the floor staff with a warm smile. The order was the Saizeriya drinking staple, a decanter of white wine in large size for 400 yen. For snacks, we kept it light with the Spinach Gratin for 400 yen, the Broccoli for 250 yen, and the Grilled Sausages for 450 yen. The sausages were juicy and delicious, pairing well with the wine. The broccoli was surprisingly tender, akin to the level of tenderness found in Zangi Oily Man. The gratin, despite being affordable, was quite tasty. It's nice to visit Saizeriya once in a while.

Even with corona, we had to meet up!! This was actually my third time here. It was a bit early to leave, but the place was decently busy. We wrote our orders on paper, so there was no need to talk to the staff much. Well thought out, right? Cheap, delicious, and the best - that's Saizeriya for you. I'm completely satisfied with just 1000 yen. It seems like a good place for a daytime drink too. Gotta go again soon. Thank you for the meal! (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

For lunch, I went to Saizeriya and ordered various dishes, but they were out of arugula for the Fresh Cheese and Tomato Salad, so they served it without arugula. Unfortunately, the Tiramisu I ordered for dessert was also sold out. I was a bit disappointed. To lift my spirits, I started with a refreshing Carrot Salad and the arugula-less salad. The Carrot Salad had a hint of acidity and citrus aroma that ignited my appetite. The salad without arugula felt like it lacked some flavor. Next, I tried the Italian-style simmered tripe, which was tender and had no unpleasant smell, with green beans adding a nice touch. Finally, I had the Minestrone Rosso and Spaghetti with Squid Ink. The Minestrone had a sweet taste from the plentiful vegetables, and the Spaghetti was delicious with the squid ink sauce. The pasta was coated well with the sauce at the bottom, enhancing the flavor. The squid was flavorful and the dish justified its popularity since the restaurant's founding. Even after all that, the total price was 1650 yen, and I left satisfied with my lunch. I still want to try the Tiramisu next time. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at Shin-Sapporo station for some errands and decided to grab a quick snack since I had some time. I ordered a Margherita pizza set for 400 yen including tax, along with a drink bar for 200 yen. I went to the drink bar to get some juice, quickly finished it, then went back for another round. When I returned to my seat, the Margherita pizza had arrived. I used the pizza cutter to slice it and enjoyed the hot and delicious pizza. It was thin but had a good amount of toppings, with stretchy cheese and tasty dough. After eating this pizza, I don't think I can go back to expensive delivery pizza! Haha. Thank you for the meal!

I love this place where you can casually eat and drink from early July. The white wine is quite delicious, and I tend to drink too much of it. The green pea appetizer I tried for the first time was very tasty, and I will definitely order it next time. The tomato stewed with motsu is also excellent, tenderly cooked and perfect for accompanying wine.

New Sapporo Duo 1-5F in December 2020 - A great place to drink cheaply during odd free times. At Saizeriya, there's no need to order appetizers, and they offer a 250ml decanter of white wine for 200 yen. If you have time, getting a "Magnum" is a good deal - a 1500ml bottle for 1100 yen, which is very cheap! You can also take home any leftover wine. The sautéed spinach for 200 yen has a large portion of spinach with a light seasoning of pancetta. Sprinkle some red pepper to enhance the flavor. The popcorn shrimp for 300 yen consists of 9 bite-sized pieces that are crispy on the outside and juicy inside. With a total bill of 700 yen, depending on your selection, you can seriously get drunk on a budget. Thank you for the meal!

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the tripartite meeting was allowed to be held remotely, but I still decided to go to school as I get nervous doing unfamiliar things. I have a hard time talking to people, so I can only speak when asked by the teacher. Sitting next to me was my daughter, who talks non-stop, and the teacher, who calmly shared funny stories about my daughter. I ended up feeling tired from laughing too much. Since my husband was not home at night, we had promised to eat something together and then go home, but we arrived in Shin-Sapporo a little after 3 PM, which was a rather awkward time. My daughter suggested going to Saizeriya, which I haven't been to in a long time. Maybe I'll have some wine. I ordered a 500ml decanter of white wine for 400 yen, which is quite cheap. I don't know much about brands, so the amount and price are just right for me. For me: Escargot oven-baked for 400 yen, Set petit focaccia for 100 yen, Margherita pizza for 400 yen. For my daughter: Milan-style half-cooked egg doria for 350 yen, Italian gelato for 250 yen, Set drink bar for 200 yen. It's nice to be able to drink alcohol without having to pay for appetizers or table charges at a family restaurant. Although it's not exactly luxurious, the glasses are nicely chilled. I leisurely enjoy dipping the hot escargot in the leftover oil with focaccia. The pizza was split in half. Maybe because of the alcohol, even though it was a thin and light pizza, it felt satisfying in the stomach. It was just the right amount for the two of us. I had the impression that it would be noisy with students coming back from school at this time, but according to my daughter, they tend to flock to other food court options, so Saizeriya is usually quiet. It's a hidden gem. It was fun and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

"I tried the cabbage and egg spaghetti from Saizeriya. It costs 500 yen with salad and soup. The salad had lettuce, walnuts, and cheese, which was sufficient. The spaghetti had a great volume, equivalent to what you would expect at a cafe for around 700 yen. The taste was good, with a nice saltiness, the umami of bacon, and the richness of cheese all coming together. It was surprisingly delicious for the price, so I have to give it a 3.5 rating for the cost performance!"
