I happened to pass by and decided to have lunch here. It was full of regular customers from the neighborhood. The old-fashioned glass case was filled with delicious dishes, like hamburgers. The menu also included udon and soba noodles, among many other options. My friend ordered the daily special and I ordered the tempura soba. The tempura was not your typical simple tempura you would find at a golf course, it was quite elaborate.

I rode around on my bicycle for months trying to find this shop, and finally managed to get in. I tried the "Other People Udon" dish. It was packed with so much meat, almost double the amount of meat in a regular meat udon, maybe even more meat than a regular beef bowl. It was topped with a raw egg, giving it a similar feel to a parent-and-child bowl with rice. In Kansai, a beef bowl with extra meat is called "Other People Donburi," so it seems to be the same concept with udon. The broth was about average in strength, maybe lighter than a parent-and-child bowl. The udon noodles, as the name of the shop suggests, seemed to be handmade, although I couldn't see the process in the hidden kitchen. The noodles were more firm and chewy, like ramen noodles that snap when you bite into them.
