Summer limited chilled dried fish ramen ¥980. Visited around 11 am on a weekday. About 40-50% of the seats were occupied. Purchased a meal ticket at the ticket machine next to the entrance. The dish was served in about 7-8 minutes. The broth, which includes dried fish stock ice, is always ice-cold! The chilled dried fish soup has a refreshing and clear taste without any fishy smell. The addition of yuzu leaves makes it even more refreshing. The restaurant is comfortably air-conditioned, making it feel like heaven as soon as you enter. Thanks to that, my body was already chilled by the time the dish arrived... Eating chilled ramen made me even colder, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal! It's better to eat it in the middle of summer (◍´꒳`)b

It's located near the bus terminal, so it's convenient for waiting for the bus. You can only sit at the counter seats, and you place your order using the touch panel in front of the shop. It's recommended to allow at least 1 hour before your bus departure time. The taste is superb! Payment with PayPay is accepted.

I have tried dried fish ramen in various places like Tokyo and Nagoya, but personally, I think Tamagoro is the most delicious. However, unfortunately, the quality of the yuzu leaves topping that they used to put in every time has dropped significantly, and now, even when added to the ramen, it hardly adds any flavor. I think they shouldn't sell it like this anymore. I hope they can go back to using the previous yuzu leaves.

This is a delicious ramen with seasoned egg and dried fish. The aroma of the dried fish is irresistible. The balance between the soup and noodles is just right. The seasoned egg and dried fish soup complement each other perfectly. The soup may seem rich, but it is not overwhelming and can be enjoyed without getting tired of it. Sprinkling the additional dried fish powder from the counter adds a nice healthy touch to the flavor of the dried fish. I finished it in no time at all.

Before summer even arrives, this heat is unbearable. I was craving some cold noodles, so I decided to visit this restaurant. They had a cold anchovy ramen on the menu, which was making a comeback after two years. I was lucky to stumble upon it. I bought a ticket, entered the restaurant (exit is on the opposite side for one-way traffic), and sat at the counter. The soup didn't have steam rising, so I wasn't sure if it was hot or cold, but one bite confirmed it was definitely a refreshing choice. The anchovy soup was ice-cold and paired perfectly with the special thick noodles. It was a cool and delicious bowl of noodles. The unique addition of yuzu-flavored mitsuba leaves added a refreshing touch to the fishy anchovy flavor, almost overshadowing the thick slices of chashu pork. This limited summer item, the cute little naruto fish cake on top, was priced at 980 yen for a bowl of cold anchovy ramen. Anchovy Ramen Tamagoro at Hankyu Sanbangai Store.

Zukashi Ramen Tamagorou Hankyu Sanbangai shop. There is a ticket vending machine in front of the store, and it feels like you are being encouraged to choose the Tsukemen set for 1200 yen, but I chose it because I wanted to eat it. The noodles are thick and curly, and the broth came out piping hot. It comes with a spicy pork bowl, so there is a satisfying amount of food. The noodles are smooth and not bad, but they don't mix well with the broth. It's hard to mix. I understood that other shops add bonito flakes powder to solve this issue. There is already a pot for soup dilution on the table, which is convenient. The quality of the Tsukemen is high, but it needs a little improvement to get a higher score. In the kitchen, there is the manager and one man, and in the store, there are three female part-time workers. The manager is constantly watching the coming and going of customers inside the store, giving quick instructions and smoothly running the operation.

On a day working in Osaka, I felt like eating the dried fish ramen that I used to visit often, so I visited "Niboshi Ramen Tamagoro Hankyu Sanbangai Store". The restaurant is located facing the Kita-mukai Jizo statue in the west end of the first floor of Sanbangai. I purchased a ticket for the large serving of dried fish ramen (1,080 yen) from the touch panel vending machine on the right side of the entrance and entered the restaurant. The interior has only a long L-shaped counter seat at the back. It was around 13:30 on a weekday after the lunch peak, and about 70% of the seats were occupied. I sat at an empty seat and handed the ticket to the staff. As I waited to taste it again after a long time, the ordered dish was served. Hmm, such a nice aroma of dried fish. So, let's dig in! First, I took a sip of the soup. Yes, this flavor! It's a double soup with a slightly rich pork bone base and dried fish that is almost at its limit. It may seem rich at first glance, but when you taste it, it surprisingly has a refreshing taste and is easy to drink, still delicious as always. Nowadays, there are various shops with double soup, but 10 years ago when I used to visit frequently, it was still a novel taste. The medium-thick curly noodles are rare for a pork bone base. I occasionally crave for these slippery and chewy noodles. The chashu is on the meaty side, but considering the balance with the rich soup, I personally think this chashu is good. In between, I also had some green onions, bamboo shoots, and before I knew it, I finished it all. The aroma of dried fish in the pork bone soup and the chewy medium-thick noodles are addictive. It was a delicious meal.

On Sunday, July 2, 2023, I spent the morning until after 4 pm at Kobe Harborland and its surrounding area, then took the Hanshin train back to Osaka. It was just before 6 pm, and since I had a satisfying Chinese meal for lunch, I decided to have a light dinner in Umeda. I went to one of my regular spots, Tamagorou, and ordered a Shioaji Tamago Niboshi Ramen (regular size) and a Tamago Kake Gohan. I have visited this restaurant many times and have recently left reviews. I often come here on weekdays and during the salaryman rush hours, there can be a wait for a seat. This time, on a weekend evening, about half of the seats were empty, so I got in easily. The total for my order was ¥1,430, including the ramen and rice. I love the thick special noodles and the flavorful soup with a hint of dried sardines at Tamagorou, and I have been coming here for over five years. If I can't decide what to eat in Umeda in the future, I will most likely come here.

On Saturday, June 17, 2023, I spent time at Kobe Harborland and its surrounding areas until after 4:00 PM. I took the Hanshin train back to Osaka by local train and arrived just before 6:00 PM. I had enjoyed Chinese food for lunch, so I decided to have a light meal in Umeda for dinner. I went to one of my regular spots, Tamagorou, and just had a regular portion of tsukemen and rice. I have visited this restaurant many times before, but this is my first time writing a review. I often come on weekdays, and during peak hours, it can get crowded with salarymen having to wait for a table. This time, on a weekend evening, more than half of the seats were empty, so I got in easily. I ordered the Tamago Shio Tsukemen for ¥1,230 and a Tamago Kake Gohan for ¥250. I always enjoy the rich flavor of the special thick noodles and the soup with a hint of dried fish at Tamagorou, and I have been coming here for over five years. If I can't decide what to eat in Umeda in the future, I will definitely come back here.

Today was a paid holiday. I took care of some errands in the morning and then had lunch. Around 1:30 pm, I visited a restaurant and purchased the limited cold shoyu ramen for 980 yen at the ticket machine near the entrance. The restaurant was not crowded as it was past the peak hours. I handed my ticket to the staff and soon received my bowl of ramen. The toppings included chashu, menma, mitsuba, nori, green onions, and surimi with a slightly chewy texture. The noodles were smooth and had a good firmness to them. The soup had a soy sauce flavor with a fragrant dried fish aroma. It was served ice-cold, which enhanced the firmness of the noodles. The restaurant was quite cold due to the strong air conditioning, making me think that it might be a bit early in the season for cold ramen. Overall, it was a delicious meal, and I couldn't help but laugh at the message at the bottom of the bowl that said, "Even my dad has never been disappointed!" Thank you for the meal.

I visited a very nostalgic restaurant. I used to go to the store in Kitashinchi often, but it was my first visit to 3rd Street. They had soy sauce ramen, salt ramen, tsukemen, and spicy ramen, and I ordered the soy sauce ramen. It was soy sauce and dried bonito flavored, but the taste was light, and I wish it had a bit more richness.

Visited at 10:20 pm on May 24, 2023 (Wednesday). This is a ramen shop near Hankyu Railway's Osaka Umeda Station. I decided to have ramen as a final dish after drinking, but the counter seats were almost full, showing how busy the place was. For my first visit, I ordered the Spicy Niboshi Ramen.
- Shop features:
- About 15 counter seats in the store
- Payment is by food ticket system, cash, card, and QR payment available
- Many solo customers, so turnover is relatively quick
- Order details:

[Soup]
A double soup of pork bone and niboshi with added spiciness. The soup was more oily than expected, with the niboshi flavor being somewhat subtle. The spiciness was not too strong, making it easy to drink. Adding the niboshi vinegar on the table halfway through made it refreshingly delicious!
[Noodles]
Medium-thick curly noodles with a nice firm texture. A classic type that goes well with any soup. The noodle portion was around 140-150g.
[Toppings]
Chashu, menma, naruto, seaweed. Seaweed goes really well with niboshi-based ramen, which was a delight. The thick chashu had a satisfying chewiness!
Overall, the location is convenient and easy to access. However, the prices are slightly on the higher side. The niboshi ramen had a light taste, but it was incredibly delicious as a late-night meal after drinking. (I was a bit tipsy, so my memory is a bit fuzzy... haha) In any case, it was a delicious way to end the meal. Thank you for the meal!

When I used to live in Osaka, I would eat at Tamagoro all the time, even though it was a different location. I tried it again after a long time, and it was just average, maybe my memory was exaggerating it. But I still like the taste, so I'll probably eat there every time I come back.

Around 10:05 PM on May 1, 2023 (Monday), I had a satisfying bowl of dried fish ramen, feeling full but still wanting something more. I decided to go for a proper "shime" (finishing dish), and ended up here. The flavor of the dried fish soup really hit the spot. Yes, this is the perfect way to end the meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I was busy and skipped lunch, working until late at night. I visited two of my senior's favorite restaurants in Osaka, snacking lightly at each. The snacks were light, so I was only half full. I searched on Tabelog for a ramen place in Hankyu Umeda, but the top-ranked shop had already stopped taking orders. So, I went to Tamagoro, the second-highest rated place. I purchased the dried fish soy sauce ramen at the ticket machine outside. People started trickling in slowly, but it took a while to be seated, so I waited outside. After about 15 minutes, I was finally seated at the farthest table. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. As you can see, it was a ramen with plenty of dried fish in it. The appearance was very appealing. The taste was...the dried fish flavor was strong, and there was even fish powder added, making it quite rich. I was really satisfied because this was the kind of ramen I wanted to eat today. However, while I was eating, the veteran staff chatted loudly amongst themselves and gave instructions to the other staff, which felt a bit unpleasant. I wondered if the wait outside was also due to this unnecessary chatter. The ramen was really delicious.

After the drinking party... a typical drinking party where you don't eat, my stomach was empty and I couldn't help it. I really wanted to eat tsukemen, but I ended up ordering spicy ramen by mistake while drunk. I wonder if the restaurant intentionally has only female staff...? But everyone's work is so wonderful that it's even impressive. It's not scary, so no offense taken. When the ramen came out, it was so red that I felt like I had made a mistake. But surprisingly, it was good! The broth was so powerful that it even turned the spiciness into flavor. When I left the restaurant, I was sweating a lot.

Boiled dried salt ramen with seasoned egg for 1180 yen. Located near Hankyu Umeda Station. It's delicious in a normal way. The flavor of boiled dried fish is quite strong, but easy to eat. I finally realized today that the seafood ramen I've been eating is based on boiled dried fish.

I ordered the lunch set at Ramen Tamajiro with dried fish ramen. The soup had chicken oil on top, so the broth underneath was piping hot. It had a strong dried fish flavor. It also came with dried fish flakes as a topping. The chashu was not very good. Thank you for the meal.

This is a ramen shop that you feel like visiting after dinner, even if you're already full. I sometimes go here as my first stop too. I love the seafood broth here, it's excellent. I like to add vinegar to the soup and drink it. It goes well together.

Boiled dried ramen Tamagoro Hankyu Sanbangai store! Lunch on the go! Idol time! It's past 3 PM! At this time, ramen in Umeda is quite popular. Tamagoro is open all day. This time, I had the flavored egg boiled dried dipping noodles. Topped with yuzu and mitsuba. The soup is a combination of rich pork bone and light dried fish, perfect for dipping noodles. The noodles are slightly curly and thick. They go well with the boiled dried fish and pork bone soup. The yuzu and mitsuba toppings add a refreshing citrusy flavor. The naruto and menma have a nice crunchy texture. The thinly sliced chashu is flavorful and tender. The flavored egg has a rich yolk and perfect seasoning. I added some shichimi and dried fish vinegar halfway through for a bit of spice and mild acidity. Finally, I finished with some soup refills from the pot on the table. It was a delicious and comforting bowl of ramen.
