The beef cutlet set meal is incredibly delicious. It has a strong cutlet flavor, as well as a rare meat taste due to the stone-grilled style. It was my first time trying it, but it was delicious. When I first tasted it, my taste buds were tingling with delight. They aim to bring beef cutlets into Japanese food culture, and I think they have succeeded. The set meal also comes with grated yam, spicy cod roe, and bracken rice cake, which is a nice touch. A single portion of meat was satisfying enough. Yes, I will definitely come back here.

The line started forming 30 minutes before the store opened. Everyone except me was a foreign tourist, making the store feel lively with foreigners. Since orders were placed in advance before the store opened, I think the turnover rate is high. The food was delicious. While there are individual menu items available, ordering one set meal per person is a requirement. Even for someone with a large appetite, the portions are quite substantial and satisfying. Unfortunately, I don't think you can get seconds of the cabbage.

It is located very close to Namba's Bic Camera. This is my fourth time here. The meat is tender and juicy, and I recommend eating it with rock salt and wasabi. You can get a free refill of rice. If you want to eat beef cutlet in Namba, this is the recommended place.

I happened to enter the shop because the place I was planning to go was temporarily closed. The lean meat was tender, the batter was thin and crispy, very delicious. There were plenty of condiments, and I was happy to have barley rice as a side dish. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, making it easy to get seconds. I stopped by this shop without knowing it was popular, but it turned out to be a great find.

Business hours: 11:00-22:00 (Last order 21:00) Open on Sundays, closed on irregular holidays. You can enjoy rare beef cutlets at Motomura-san's place! The cutlets here are fried for about 60 seconds, making them very rare. I love rare dishes made with beef, so I eat them as they are, but I know some people prefer them cooked more. Not to worry though! Each table has its own hot plate, so you can cook the cutlets to your liking. They offer two sauces: "soy sauce" and "wasabi-based sauce". Personally, I highly recommend the wasabi sauce!!! If you're ever in need of a restaurant in Namba, be sure to check this place out.

I arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 pm and ordered a bottle of beer for 500 yen and a 190g beef cutlet with barley rice and grated yam set meal for 1900 yen. The beer came out faster than I expected. I received instructions on how to eat, which involved lightly searing the meat. I enjoyed eating it with two types of sauce, wasabi, rock salt, alternating between the three. The meat had a crispy and juicy texture and was delicious. The salad dressing, red miso soup, and grated yam seasoning were also to my liking. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went out for lunch again! I decided to give this place another try since it was temporarily closed the other day, but has recently reopened. I always had the image of long lines here, but it seems that's not the case anymore. We were able to get in without waiting and got a seat at the back of the counter. I ordered the beef cutlet set meal (130g, with barley rice, grated yam, and miso soup for 1,400 yen). The beef cutlet wasn't as rare as I expected, but it was still good. It was tender and juicy, and surprisingly delicious. I tried it with soy sauce, wasabi sauce, and rock salt, but the best was definitely the rock salt with wasabi. The middle part was especially tender and tasty. We also ordered an additional beef cutlet (4 pieces for 800 yen) to share. They kindly split it into 2 pieces each for us, which was very accommodating. The beef cutlet had a nice chewiness and the flavor of the tongue was also good. At the end, there was a bit left in my mouth, but that's just a minor thing. The lemon oil they provided added a nice aroma to the tongue, making it even more delicious. Maybe next time I'll try the tongue without the cutlet, it might be good. Oh, and when the cabbage in front of us ran out, the staff promptly brought more, which was nice. Overall, my first experience at Motomura was very enjoyable. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I used it when I was on a business trip to Osaka. Since I was staying in Minami, I was thinking about dinner and the idea of beef cutlet came to mind... I headed straight to this place. I have used a different store before, but this is only my second time. The restaurant was empty, maybe because of the coronavirus situation. There was a tongue cutlet this time, which I didn't remember from my last visit. I ordered the beef cutlet & tongue cutlet MIX set meal without hesitation. Of course, with grated yam. It is served quickly because it is fried rare. Various sauces come with it, but personally, I think it tastes best with rock salt. It is recommended to drizzle rock salt + lemon-flavored olive oil on the tongue cutlet. As I remembered from last time, you eat while grilling it on the ceramic plate in front of you. It's quite enjoyable. Rock salt + olive oil goes well with the tongue cutlet. Indeed, it is recommended. Beef cutlet is good, but who would have thought tongue cutlet would be this delicious... You can have one free refill, so you can eat your meal at your own pace without worrying about it. Thank you for the meal!

I tried the curry at the popular restaurant but once again gave up due to the long line. While on my way to Namba, I searched for something else and found out that there is also a Gyukatsu Motomura in Osaka, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the set with grated yam for 1400 yen. A hot stone was served with it. I wondered if this was always the case. When it was brought to me, they said, "Please make sure to cook it well before eating." I asked if I could eat it as it is, but they insisted on cooking it before eating. Maybe they had some issue before and received guidance from the health department? Oh well. When I cooked it and ate it, the meat became tough, but in a strange way. Later, I checked their website and found out that they inject beef fat into the meat. Oh, that explains why it's not safe to eat it raw. Maybe that's the reason for that texture. I hope they still select high-quality meat like they used to when I visited before. It was a bittersweet reunion.

I enjoyed being able to cook and eat one piece at a time at the beef cutlet restaurant. It was nice to be able to eat it warm at my own pace. They would relight the fire if it went out. I personally liked dipping the cutlet in the yellowish onion sauce. It was the last day of my trip to Osaka, so I brought it in my carry-on bag. However, I was a little shocked when the staff gave me a visibly unpleasant look.

Due to the influence of Typhoon No. 21, there were few tourists in Namba. I decided to visit a popular restaurant that always has long lines. Surprisingly, I was seated immediately without having to wait in line. I ordered a 1300 yen set meal and it arrived within a few minutes. There was a small charcoal grill on the counter next to the condiments, which looked Instagram-worthy. The half-raw beef cutlet was brought out for me to grill myself, with instructions from the staff. Despite being a chain restaurant, it was delicious.

It can be enjoyed with just salt, or with sauce or wasabi. The cutlet is thinly sliced, so you can enjoy different flavors and textures depending on the part you eat. The plentiful vegetables are a nice touch. It is elegant yet satisfyingly filling. There are many foreigners, perhaps due to the location, but this style allows you to focus on eating quietly, making it a calm dining experience.

Motomura-san is famous for their beef cutlets. The restaurant is usually crowded due to its popularity, but there are times when you can get in easily depending on the day and time. I visited during one of those times. The shop is small with counter and table seating, and the seats are quite close together. The menu is similar to other shops, with the choice of single or double cutlet, with or without grated yam. This time, I chose a single cutlet without yam, just like last time. The cutlet arrived shortly after ordering! The short frying time means you don't have to wait long, which is nice. Now, let's dig in! The doneness of the cutlet depends on personal preference, but if you don't mind, I recommend eating it almost rare without grilling it on the hot plate. You can fully enjoy the tender and slightly rare texture of the meat, along with its melting flavor. Salt is the best seasoning in my opinion. When it cools down a bit, grilling it to your preferred doneness makes it even more delicious. Overcooking will make it tough and diminish the deliciousness of the beef, so I think medium rare or medium is ideal. The meat has a melting sensation, with the umami spreading with each bite. It's not like the strong umami of steak, but more of a gentle and slightly sweet flavor. The coating is thin and fine-textured. It's not the crispy and wild texture you might expect from a cutlet, but rather delicate and elegant. Some may find it a bit lacking if they prefer the traditional cutlet texture. However, considering the nature of beef as an ingredient and the fact that it's close to raw, I think this fine coating suits it well. You can still taste the crispiness, but it's a bit subtle. They have managed to preserve the unique charm of beef cutlets rather than making it like tonkatsu. Despite the increasing number of beef cutlet shops, Motomura-san remains popular because of its quality. I will find another opportunity to visit when it's not crowded!

I was looking for a delicious restaurant in Minami and I came across "Gyukatsu Motomura Namba Store"! It's quite rare to find a beef cutlet restaurant, so I decided to give it a try, and it was an amazing place! The "Gyukatsu Set Meal for 1,300 yen" was served with a rare beef cutlet, and a hot ceramic plate where you can cook the beef cutlet according to your preference. Isn't this system amazing? You cook the thinly sliced rare beef cutlet to your liking, and I personally like it slightly cooked. It's also delicious as it is, but the sauce is also amazing. They have soy sauce-based and onion-based sauces, and when you mix wasabi with the soy sauce-based sauce, it's a perfect match! It was so delicious, I was surprised! This restaurant seems to have come from Tokyo, and as expected from Tokyo, they have innovative and interesting ideas! GOCHI☆

Now, it's time for dinner! I've decided to go to "Gyukatsu Motomura Namba Store." I've arrived! Oh, there's a line after all... well, I was expecting it. We waited for about 20-30 minutes. Finally, we were called in! Let's go in! I had already placed my order while waiting, so the gyukatsu set meal (with grated yam) for 1400 yen arrived at our table within 1-2 minutes! It looks delicious! The meat is rare inside! I like to cook it to my liking! Is it ready? Yes, it's delicious! The meat is tender! The breading is crispy from being cooked! And it's piping hot! It comes with a sauce that has a hint of garlic and onion? and another one with soy sauce. Wasabi is also included. There is also salt and tonkatsu sauce on the side. Personally, I think wasabi and soy sauce are the best! They go really well together. Yum! The rice is barley rice, and I initially ate it plain, then added grated yam halfway through. It also goes well with the barley rice! The rice was cooked perfectly. It was delicious! I'm satisfied! Thank you for the meal!
