The "Obachan" (middle-aged women in Osaka dialect) here seem to buy traditional candies. One of their offerings is the summer wind sweets (Mizu Yokan) from the summer wind sweets series. It has a smooth and silky texture with a sweet taste that is not overwhelming. It comes in a plastic container shaped like a bamboo node.
