I ordered the fish set meal because the menu had changed. The grilled mackerel with miso and wild vegetables was delicious. The simmered eggplant and octopus, as well as the bamboo shoots, were also tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of broccoli hidden among the bamboo shoots. The chicken and lotus root with plum seasoning had a hint of minced meat, mostly it was lotus root with plum. The miso soup was a bit salty (my grandmother, who ordered the meat set meal, also found it too salty and left it). Overall, there seemed to be a slightly salty flavor in many of the dishes. I got quite thirsty afterwards and had to ask for a glass of water and a refill of roasted green tea.

I used this restaurant for lunch with my mother and grandmother. It was our 5th time using it. This is my first review on Tabelog. My mother ordered pasta, while my grandmother and I ordered the meat set. Since I am pregnant, I requested my steak to be well-done, and my grandmother, who eats little, asked for half the rice. The pasta arrived first and my mother started eating. Then, one portion of the meat set arrived, and the server asked, "Who ordered the meat set?" I replied, "I ordered the well-done steak. And this one (my grandmother) asked for half the rice." The server seemed confused and said, "Both the meat and rice are normal." When I insisted, they finally brought the correct order. Soon after, another staff member brought another meat set and asked, "Is this for the well-done steak or half rice?" They got it right this time. We had both dishes and exchanged the rice ourselves. The servers apologized, but it seemed they didn't understand the mistake. I couldn't tell the difference between my grandmother's meat (which was said to be normal) and my well-done steak. The menu made it seem rare, but both were cooked well. The servers today were new to me, so maybe they were new employees. This was the first time our orders didn't match in the several times we've been here. The food was still delicious. I will come back again.

There is a common impression that old-fashioned Western-style restaurants are often found on the top floor of department stores. Hankyu Senri is quite old, and it is planned to be integrated with Celsy to become a large facility in the future. I wondered what would happen to the shops here, but I was in the mood for Western food, so I decided to enter. The interior of the restaurant felt like a place for families and seniors in the Senri area to relax. It can be difficult to find a restaurant that is easy for children to enter, so there is a sense of security when it comes to department stores. On this day, I ordered the special set. It included layered grilled beef and eggplant, salmon maki, bread, and a mini pear parfait. The meat had a typical Western restaurant taste, but the parfait was very delicious. I always feel like drinking coffee or espresso after a meal, so I end up eating sweet treats as well, making me consume excess calories every day. By the way, it is smooth to go to this restaurant from the elevator located at the end.

I stopped by at Senri Hankyu to change my child's diaper and decided to have lunch there since it was not crowded. It was just me and my child, and even during lunchtime on a weekday, there were plenty of empty seats. We sat at a 4-person table and used a child's chair next to me. The lunch buffet that was available before was no longer there, and there was no kids' play area either. Probably due to the influence of the coronavirus. When I mentioned that my child was still eating baby food, they provided me with child-friendly tableware and water. I ordered the Pasta & Risotto Set (1350 yen), which came with half-sized pasta, risotto, and salad. I had the eggplant and tomato mascarpone pasta and bolognese risotto. It was ready in about 10 minutes after ordering. The first thing that surprised me was the small portion size. Even though it was a half-size, it felt insufficient. Both dishes tasted average, just as they looked. The taste was as expected from my previous visit, but the lack of volume was disappointing. Without the lunch buffet, my stomach was not satisfied. Due to the coronavirus, eating and drinking were prohibited in the baby room on the same floor, and there was no space to feed the baby alone, so I had no choice but to eat at the restaurant. The staff were used to dealing with customers with children, and the seating arrangement was spacious, making it a comfortable environment to dine in. However, I still felt unsatisfied with the taste and portion size. There were many customers with children, and the staff were accommodating, but the lack of satisfaction in taste and portion size was evident. There are few options for a worry-free lunch with a baby, especially if the baby is still young, but I felt it was challenging to satisfy both my child and my own appetite. Unless I become a lunch refugee with my child, I don't think I will visit this restaurant for a third time.

Cabbage roll solo is 1050 yen. I wanted to try it. The demi-glace sauce has a slightly tangy and light taste. There's not much ground meat, so you can enjoy a lot of cabbage. It's a very healthy dish. The B set is 1650 yen. The cabbage roll alone is not enough. So, I added side dishes. Corn soup was as expected. Cream croquette, shrimp fry, scallop fry, and smelt fry. The fries are quite small. Ketchup spaghetti and salad. The salad is fresh and delicious. The set includes all-you-can-eat bread, but it's a bit pricey. The atmosphere is like a department store cafeteria, and it's relaxed in the evening.

The restaurant, as its name suggests, has an open and spacious atmosphere with a garden terrace. It is like a large dining hall in a department store where you can take a break after shopping. The Fried Oyster Set (1550 yen tax included) consists of juicy and crispy fried oysters. There are four types of bread available for refill, and the raisin and walnut bread was delicious. The bread comes with margarine, which is still commonly used in Japan despite being phased out in other countries. The Recommended Bento (1700 yen tax included) includes a variety of small side dishes served in tiny dishes, with a large fried dish in the center. The small dessert is a chestnut sweet treat, which is quite sweet. As it is a restaurant in a department store, the prices are a bit high and the cost performance is not the best. In terms of taste, both dishes were average. I used to enjoy their affordable afternoon tea set for around 1500 yen, but I'm not sure if they still offer it. Today, they only had lunch menu available, so I couldn't confirm if the tea time menu is still available.

I was introduced to a restaurant where you can dine with your kids and make lunch reservations even on weekends. I made a reservation for peak hours on a Saturday and was seated right next to the kids' area. The lunch menu offers a variety of options, from individual dishes to set menus, with a focus on Western cuisine but also including Japanese options like bento boxes. I chose the A set (1500 yen) which allows for unlimited refills of bread or rice. It included hamburger, shrimp fry, crab cream croquette, and cup soup with bread. Although I was warned that the food might take a while to be served due to the crowd, it only took about 10 minutes for the dishes to start arriving, and within 20 minutes all the dishes for our group were ready. The food was warm but not piping hot, and the flavors were as expected based on the appearance. The cup soup was corn soup, typical of restaurant taste. The bread, although not freshly baked, was served multiple times which was nice. You can choose from about 5 types of bread at any time. What's more, the seating area is spacious and allows for strollers, and there is a baby room on the same floor, making it easy to move around even if your child cries. The staff seemed used to handling many children, so I was able to enjoy my lunch without worry. These days, I tend to prioritize restaurants where I can dine with my kids over the taste, so I want to remember this place to avoid becoming a lunch refugee in Senri-Chuo.

I added an iced coffee set for 250 yen to the recommended summer course for 2300 yen. It is recommended for those with baby strollers as you can enjoy a relaxed meal.

The prices are on the higher side. The customer service is good, but the taste can vary depending on the dish. It's not necessarily worth the price...? However, it's easy to go with children, so I will probably go again.笑

It was clean and easy to enter with a stroller. There were many families with children. The food was delicious.

I visited the restaurant alone at night and ordered a 1600 yen bento box. It was delicious with a variety of items and thoughtful touches. The cold pasta was decent, but the potato salad and simmered dishes were quite good. The seating was comfortable and cozy. There was also a space for babies to play, making it great for parents with infants. Overall, the service was excellent.

There is a kids' space and baby chairs, so it's very child-friendly. We reserved a spacious seat twice. I ordered stuffed cabbage rolls (the sauce was delicious) with all-you-can-eat bread, and also a seafood gratin (it had lots of filling and was very luxurious. Personally, I felt it was a bit bland so I think it would have been nice to have some salt on the side) and they were delicious.

Twenty years ago when I used to live there, on the 5th floor of Senri Hankyu, there were Chinese and Western restaurants, but according to reviews, even that has changed and a new restaurant seems to have opened. The bright, spacious, and open interior was crowded with many customers waiting in line. Since we were a group, we were seated in a large semi-private room. The food and sweets were all delicious, the conversation flowed, and we had a very enjoyable time. There were so many menu options that I had a hard time choosing (^^;; Thank you for the feast (*^^*)

The restaurant on the 5th floor of Hankyu Department Store, "Shokuzai Primo Piatt" and "Hanau Usagi," have been combined into one. The exterior walls are gone, and it feels cold with the wind blowing through. I ordered the "Stuffed Cabbage Set." It comes with salad, soup, and a choice of bread or rice. The main dish was quite large. The thick and round stuffed cabbage was interesting. The service of free bread refills is nice. However, the prices may be a bit high.

Department store in the center of Senri, on the 5th floor of Senri Hankyu. The restaurant has a quite open space with a play area for children, which is a notable feature. Many moms with kids were seen using the space. However, tables facing the hallway can be a bit cold in winter. The service varies depending on the staff, but some provide excellent service typical of a department store. When listing the menu items ordered so far in order of recommendation... Recommended dish (Simmered cabbage roll) 1500 yen: Choose a main dish, with all-you-can-eat bread, corn potage soup, and salad included. The cabbage roll is of very high quality, made with a large cabbage that is soft and topped with delicious demi-glace sauce. It is at the level you would expect from a Western-style specialty restaurant. The all-you-can-eat bread is generally average, but the croissant is delicious and it comes with butter, which is nice. Porcini Tagliatelle 1300 yen: The taste is quite good, but the portion is quite small.

This is a restaurant located on the 5th floor of Senri Hankyu, right next to Senri Central Station. It may be a bit pricey, but it has a nice atmosphere. The stuffed cabbage I had here was large and filling, with a flavorful demiglace sauce that gave it a punch. It was delicious.
