Last night, we toasted to our senior colleague with four people and had a lively and enjoyable banquet. The combination of dishes and plates was good, and the sake from Nara and Fukui matched well. The delicately prepared ingredients pleased our eyes and taste buds. Thank you for a banquet that was fitting to remember our senior colleague, we are grateful to the chef. Thank you for the meal.

The desired shops were all closed, and it was the long Obon holiday season. I wandered around looking for a place to eat and found a Japanese restaurant with a lunch menu displayed outside. Although the prices seemed a bit high for lunch in this area, I decided to give it a try. The owner, a kind old man, greeted me and showed me to a seat at the counter. I was recommended the limited 4-serving tempura bowl with 2 large prawns. The tempura was freshly fried and looked luxurious with eggplant, pumpkin, sweet potato, shishito peppers, and large green beans. It was served with miso soup and cucumber salad. The tempura bowl set cost 1200 yen. The owner engaged in friendly conversation, making it a cozy lunch experience.

Downtown◇Japanese Cuisine◇[3-chome Kawaracho, Chuo-ku]Located two streets east of the Kawaracho 3 intersection on Midosuji, on the right side, you will find 【Japanese Cuisine Aso】. Easy to enter alone, with lunch menu displayed outside. The counter seats are spacious, creating a calm atmosphere. Menu items include ◆Hanae (1500 yen)◆Three-flavor pork cutlet set meal (1500 yen)◆Tempura set meal (1500 yen)◆Oyster fry (1500 yen)◆Simmered fish set meal (1500 yen)◆Tempura assortment set meal (1300 yen)◆Eel bowl from Kagoshima (1500 yen), and more (excluding tax). Whether to choose oysters, eel, or soba, you can simply say "Tempura assortment, please" and be tempted by the sound of the tempura being fried. After about 10 minutes, the meal is served, and you can enjoy the generous amount of soba. The soba broth, with grated ginger, is a favorite of the owner. The small inari sushi is also deliciously sweet. Soba tea is also served, allowing you to relax and enjoy the meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I have visited this restaurant for dinner several times, but this was my first time having lunch there. The prices are on the higher side, but the restaurant was fully booked.

I visited for dinner and had requested crab hot pot in advance. I had just been to Kinosaki recently, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was surprised to find even more delicious crab nearby. We enjoyed eating the crab both raw and in the hot pot. The unique sweetness of the raw crab spread in my mouth. Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist getting seconds of the hot pot at the end. I was completely satisfied.

I happened to stumble upon this place while walking around. It's a rare find in an area with few shops open on Saturdays. The restaurant has counter seating and private sunken kotatsu-style tables. They offer a wide variety of lunch options. I shared the Hana Gasane and Three-Flavor Pork Tonkatsu set. The meal included delicious bonito sashimi, chef's special edamame tofu, simmered dishes, and a generous assortment of tempura. The tempura was served hot and crispy. The juicy pork cutlet in the tonkatsu set came with a mountain of vegetable salad. This hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant in the middle of the business district offers high-quality food. Located at 3-2-7 Kawaramachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City.

This is a slightly upscale restaurant in Honmachi for lunch. They have a white wooden counter and sunken kotatsu seating. Most lunch menu items are over 1000 yen, but the katsudon and oyakodon are both 1000 yen each. The katsudon is made with black pork, and the oyakodon is made with Awaodori chicken. Both are very appealing and it's hard to decide. When it came time to order, I was still undecided, but I ended up ordering the oyakodon for 850 yen. Here it is, the Awaodori chicken oyakodon. It's made with quality chicken. Yeah, this kind of chicken is really good.

In the heart of the city, this restaurant exudes a seasonal and serene atmosphere with a traditional Japanese charm. The ingredients used in the dishes are carefully selected by the owner who personally visits the market every morning to procure them. The dishes are authentic Japanese cuisine with a focus on the quality of the ingredients and presentation. The lunch menu, especially the Hanagasane bento set, is highly recommended with a variety of dishes such as simmered dishes, grilled items, and sashimi. The lunch prices have been revised to \1100. In the evening, there are course menus available as well as specialty dishes like Kumamoto horse sashimi. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of rare local sake and shochu that pair perfectly with the food.

I visited this place for lunch. There were various menu options for 1100 yen, and the energetic chef left a strong impression! It was a rare experience to be greeted so enthusiastically. I ordered the simmered fish set meal and enjoyed the simmered flounder. It was very delicious and had a deep flavor, possibly from simmering with other fish. There are counter seats available for lunch, making it easy for solo diners, and it seemed like there were many women dining there. This place seems to be well-known for Japanese cuisine, offering a variety of delicious dishes.

I received a "Hamono Nabe (eel hot pot) and all-you-can-drink" course with a group coupon. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Honmachi Station Exit 1. It's in an office district, so it's easy to make reservations on Saturdays as the master mentioned. The atmosphere is calm and it's understandable that it's a place often used for business entertainment. The course is priced at 6,000 yen per person for the hot pot, which is a bit on the expensive side. The meal progresses smoothly with small dishes, sashimi, bone senbei, Hamo sushi, and finally the Hamo hot pot. The sashimi was decent, but the Hamo sushi and hot pot were truly delicious. The flavor was amazing without any fishy smell. The broth was delicious, and even the noodles at the end were tasty. The broth infused with shiitake mushrooms was particularly flavorful. It's rare to find a hot pot where even the shiitake mushrooms taste delicious. I've been to various business entertainment restaurants, and this one falls into the category of tasty ones. However, the drink options for the all-you-can-drink are limited to draft beer, oolong tea, sake, and shochu, so it would be nice to at least have plum wine included. Women might find the drink options lacking. With the 20% discount on Saturdays for the all-you-can-drink and course, it could be a good choice for celebrating someone's birthday in style (with a budget of around 5,000 yen per person).

I have been to this restaurant for lunch about 4 times. There are about 6 to 8 different lunch options, all priced at 1100 yen. My favorite is the tempura set, which is really delicious. Recently, they have also started serving oyakodon made with local chicken, which I haven't tried yet but have heard is very tasty. When you first visit, you might be surprised by the energetic "irasshaimase!" greeting coming from the kitchen (laughs). I personally like lively restaurants, so that alone makes me want to come back (the food is delicious too, of course). The staff are attentive and make sure your tea is always topped up, which I really appreciated. The prices are a bit on the higher side for a lunch for a salaryman, but I saw many office ladies there, so it could be a nice treat for yourself when you get your paycheck.

I had some errands at a nearby golf shop, so I decided to stop by this restaurant in front of the parking lot. The lunch menu, excluding the course, is ¥1100. There are various options, and my friend chose the lunch set with soba and tempura, while I went for the simmered fish set meal. The simmered fish set meal came with salad (shredded cabbage + potato salad), a mini chawanmushi, pickles, miso soup (wakame + enoki mushrooms), sweet simmered beef, and plenty of side dishes. The miso soup that came with the lunch was really delicious, with a rich flavor that was a pleasant surprise. It must have been years since I was so impressed by miso soup. My friend's soba was also tasty, and the tempura was fried to a perfect crispiness. It's no wonder they have a sign advertising Japanese cuisine. I heard they have various options for the evening course starting from ¥4200, and a wide selection of sake, so I definitely want to revisit next time.

The lunch made by the husband from Minamiaso village is not compromised even during the day. The three-flavored pork cutlet was thick, sweet, and delicious. The steamed soba also looked delicious. I would like to try going at night next time.
