I always buy the "Kitashinchi Sand" in Kitashinchi, and they also have the "Shinsaibashi Sand" in Minami. This time, I tried their two classic items:
1. Tamago Katsu Sand - Fluffy egg wrapped in crispy katsu with plenty of homemade mayo. A rich and delicious sandwich.
2. Ebi Katsu Sand - Packed with plenty of crispy shrimp, topped with homemade demi-glace sauce and tartar. I used to prefer Tamago Katsu, but Ebi Katsu might be easier to eat. I'm so full now. Thank you for the delicious meal! 😊🍴

I have been buying this for breakfast after drinking or the morning after for a long time, and I decided to buy it again after a long time. It's consistently delicious. I feel like a lot of people come to buy it for lunch when it opens during the day, but the concept may be different... There are more varieties now, so I'm thinking of trying different flavors for a while.

I used it for a late-night snack. I had heard about Hamada-san from Downtown and saw him on TV a few times, so I was curious. I decided to try the Hirekatsu sandwich, the specialty egg sandwich, and the corn soup. The Hirekatsu is not cooked rare, so if you don't like it undercooked, you might not enjoy it. Personally, I wasn't impressed by the taste. The egg sandwich seemed okay, but the mayonnaise sauce was too strong for my liking. The corn soup, on the other hand, was delicious!

You should definitely try the egg cutlet sandwich once (be careful, it's addictive once you try it! 😂). Egg cutlet sandwich ¥1,000 - A crispy cutlet with a scrambled egg-like creamy texture inside. It's crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside, irresistible~♪ This place is so popular that it's been featured on TV multiple times. It melts in your mouth when you eat it occasionally!! Perfect as a souvenir◎ (definitely will be appreciated) They also offer delivery, so be sure to try it out ( ¨̮ ).. Thank you for reading until the end! Likes and saves make me happy ( ¨̮ )⤴︎⤴︎ Be sure to check out Instagram as well~~@gourmet_tabi

A high-class restaurant. The recommended egg sandwich, although not cheap, is really delicious. It's a slightly warm sandwich with crispy egg cutlet and a slightly sweet sauce, all sandwiched between soft bread. The texture is like nothing I've ever had before. I would love to eat it when I have a small hunger at night, but it's not something I can easily afford.

I have used this place many times in the past, but I felt like eating it again after a long time, so I started writing a review on Tabelog for the first time. It seems like the potato chips are no longer being sold, and the price of the egg sandwich has gone up, right? It used to be 900 yen, but there's nothing we can do about it.
-----Taste impressions-----
This time I had the egg and pork salt flavors. It was my first time trying the pork salt, and the crunchy texture of the salt grains combined with the soft meat was so good that it disappeared quickly... The egg flavor is always reliable. This is it. The runny egg with a coating and topped with mayonnaise for an extra sinful feeling! This is a dish that you really must try.

By the way, if you don't order those, other favorites of mine include eel cutlet, plum shiso butter, and Shinsaibashi chicken, so if you're interested, definitely give them a try! These are flavors that you'll want to eat regularly. They are also great as gifts. Let's all indulge in Shinsaibashi Sandwiches in the middle of the night and enjoy being a bit naughty! The stage of indulgence is set, let the show begin!

I have relied on this place several times! It's open from 18:00 to 5:00, making it the perfect companion for strolling around Namba at night. The popular menu items are the crab croquette, egg dish, and eel, but today I had the shrimp! Shrimp cutlet sandwich for ¥1,000. The juicy shrimp is coated in a crispy batter and sandwiched between fluffy bread, creating a perfect balance of textures. It's definitely worth the price! You can also visit their locations in Kitashinchi and Ginza. The egg dish here is seriously delicious, so be sure to try it!

I occasionally use this place. When I'm drinking and feeling a bit hungry, I give in to the temptation even though I know I shouldn't eat carbs. On this day, I ordered an egg sandwich, shrimp cutlet sandwich, and tulip fried chicken. The egg sandwich was delicious ( *´艸`) It's a bit sinful because it's fried... And the shrimp cutlet sandwich. I love this one too ♫ The mayo is irresistible (^◇^;) I also enjoyed the tulip fried chicken. Oh, it's so good to eat late at night... I'll order again when I can't resist next time (^◇^;) Thank you for the meal (^O^)

I like to visit the shop that serves egg sandwiches regularly. The mayonnaise in the egg sandwich tastes really good, and the egg is crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The price is a bit high, but it's worth it. I only have the courage to treat myself with the special fillet. The rarity and thickness of the meat are amazing.

When drinking with customers until late at night, no one seemed to care about the coronavirus anymore. However, due to the impact of the explosive infection reports on TV, there were fewer people around. The influence of the media is truly formidable. I stopped by a shop for a quick drink, and ended up getting Tamagokatsu, which is quite famous, for takeout. I ate it at 3 am, and it was quite heavy. The fluffy, creamy egg looked incredibly delicious. I'm a bit of a trend follower, so of course I wanted to eat this when I saw it. Visuals are important, right? The taste itself was pretty good, I think. I'm not sure if I would buy it again, but it's a good choice to give to someone because it's a topic of conversation and a flavor that many people like. It's quite rich, so eating a whole pack alone can be quite dangerous. I've been keeping my weight and body shape in check lately, so the calorie intake on this day was quite a challenge. Bon appétit.

After enjoying fish and sake at "Kyoto Obanzai Komachi," we went to another place for a nightcap. The client gave us a gift to take home, called "Shinsaibashi Sand." The shop is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hachiman-suji and Tamaya-suji. Since we hadn't had a proper ending meal tonight, we opened the box from the bag in our hotel room. The striking red box had "Tamago" written on the seal, so we knew it was a Tamago (egg) sandwich. Inside were six thick slices of Tamago katsu (deep-fried egg) sandwiched between bread. I tried it immediately and was surprised! The Tamago was fried, not just a regular Tamago sandwich but a Tamago katsu sandwich. However, the egg inside was fluffy and creamy, while the outside was crispy. It was generously dressed with slightly strong mayonnaise. I'm not a big fan of eggs, but this was delicious. They probably calculated that people would eat it after drinking, so they made the taste a bit bold. As the box indicated, there is another shop in Kita-Shinchi besides Shinsaibashi. Upon researching, I found out that this shop specializes in katsu sandwiches, with all ingredients being "katsu" only. Therefore, it was natural for it to be a Tamago katsu sandwich, not just a regular Tamago sandwich. It seems to be the most popular item, released in 2012. I wonder how they make it. To bread and fry it, the Tamago needs to be cooked enough, and then frying it to this semi-raw state seems impossible for amateurs. Well, it must be the unbeatable deliciousness. This seems to be becoming a new Osaka specialty. Being a katsu sandwich specialty shop, they offer sandwiches with "beef," "pork," "shrimp," "eel," and other katsu fillings. I definitely want to buy one when drinking in Kita or Minami. Thank you for the meal!

Egg Cutlet Sandwich for 900 yen. A takeaway-only sandwich shop that opens in the evening, not during the day. Considering the location and opening hours, it may be difficult for a child to go alone to buy. Reservations are possible, but ordering at the shop and waiting is necessary. If you inform them of the time you plan to eat, they seem to adjust the cooking method accordingly. The sandwich contains a dense egg that is a cross between egg salad and soft-boiled egg, coated with a thin cutlet and topped with some original sauce. It comes with 3 slices, but they are pre-cut for easy eating. It is definitely delicious, but it may seem a bit pricey due to the fancy paper bag it comes in. I now understand why Hamada-san from Downtown strongly recommended it. Please note that the poor image quality of the product is due to the camera, not my fault! Due to pressure from various sources, I have minimized the logs since June 2019 and the images since January 2020. Please refer to the corresponding Google Maps for images. Late November 2021, late-night visit to【Hama】chan.

This shop in Shinsaibashi, which is familiar from "Gobugobu", was where I purchased the Tamago Katsu Sandwich. They fry a half-cooked egg with a thin cutlet, and it was incredibly delicious. Each box only contains three pieces, so I savored the taste while eating. In addition to this Tamago Katsu, there are many other attractive menu items such as Hamburger Katsu, Eel Katsu, and Shrimp Katsu. It seems like it would also be handy as a small souvenir.

At one point, I got hooked on Bifukatsu sandwiches. It seems that the most popular item here is the Tamagokatsu sandwich (900 yen). They have a variety of options, including Unagikatsu sandwich (2500 yen), Beefkatsu sandwich (2800 yen), Croquettekatsu sandwich (1000 yen), and Umesiso Butterkatsu sandwich (1100 yen). The Unagikatsu and Beefkatsu sandwiches seem a bit too pricey, but considering the location in Kitashinchi, Higashi Shinsaibashi, and Soemoncho where older sisters and brothers might use it as a souvenir, I guess that's how it is. The variety is impressive! It must be tough to manage. I got the Tamagokatsu sandwich and the Umesiso Butterkatsu sandwich. The Tamagokatsu sandwich was really delicious. I initially wondered why they would put eggs in a cutlet, but it turned out to be a good combination. The egg is gently wrapped by the crispy coating, preventing the messy feeling when you bite into it. Instead, the mayonnaise oozes out from the outside of the coating. The egg remains half-cooked and pleasantly soft when bitten into. They really know how to make it tasty. The bread was okay, considering there are many delicious bread options these days. The Umesiso Butter sandwich was also delicious, with a slightly Japanese touch and thinly sliced pork arranged like a mille-feuille cutlet. However, at 1100 yen (for thinly sliced pork), I couldn't help but feel it was a bit expensive. I'd like to try the other recommended Beefkatsu (beef tenderloin cutlet) sandwich, but it's even pricier than the one I used to be hooked on. It costs a whopping 2800 yen!! The restaurant is based on a luxurious and flamboyant bar in Shinsaibashi, "R". The owner has a rather glamorous sensibility and a strong-willed personality. I hope they continue to work diligently without aiming too much for a bubbly hit with the sandwiches, focusing on producing hits like the Tamagokatsu sandwich as the cleanup batter.

We had a second party for a year-end party with close drinking buddies. They brought Heart Shinsaibashi Sandwiches. There were minced cutlet sandwiches and egg sandwiches. The eggs were also fried. The right amount of oil made it delicious. My beautiful wife, who was just there for looks, kept saying "delicious, delicious" while eating.
