Kani Doraku is always reliable! The grilled Taraba crab is incredibly delicious! I tried the crab cream croquette for the first time and it tasted just as I expected haha. The tempura this time had too much batter and felt heavy... It would be better if the batter was thinner. The shabu-shabu was as tasty as always. I think the best thing about Kani Doraku is the consistent quality of the crab.

This is the most expensive course for lunch. Everything was delicious. The portion size is just right for lunch and leaves you feeling hungry at dinner time. The downside is that during busy seasons, it is difficult to make a web reservation and only phone reservations are accepted. However, if you ask the staff, you may be able to get a table even without a reservation, although the timing may be a bit off. I asked at 11:30 and managed to get a reservation for 13:30 as the previous group had just finished.

Kani Doraku Dotombori Nakaten Osaka Dotombori (3 minutes walk from Nipponbashi Station) This time, I ordered the lunch Kani Gozen Ruri (3960 yen). The contents of the Ruri Gozen are: - Crab vinegar - Crab miso dressing and Yuyaku roll salad - Crab chawanmushi - Crab shumai - Crab tempura - Crab kamameshi - Pickles - Soup - Ice cream with matcha sauce From start to finish, it was a crab feast and it was amazing! The various fresh crab dishes were delicious! The chawanmushi turned into a thick soup was piping hot and delicious! The Lily root in the chawanmushi is also very tasty. The crab shumai is not what you would typically imagine, it's very creamy and having 2 of them is a delight. My favorite was definitely the crab kamameshi. Mix the crab meat in and enjoy! There was quite a lot of crab meat in it. You can eat it as is or pour the soup over it to make a delicious ochazuke! Finally, they prepare matcha for you and pour it over the ice cream right in front of you. The bitterness of the matcha goes well with the vanilla ice cream. Everything came out slowly, so I was really full by the end! I was looking forward to eating crab now that winter has come, so I'm happy! Next time, I definitely want to try the crab gratin! I also want to try the night course menu next time. Kani Doraku has many branches, but on weekdays, most of them were fully booked. I recommend making a reservation. When I visited Kinosaki the other day, it was still before the crab season started, so I came to eat crab. Perhaps due to the restaurant support campaign, the tables around me were mostly occupied by solo diners. I'm not a fan of crab hot pot, so I opted for a crab kaiseki set. The set included fresh crab vinegar, crab sashimi, grilled crab, crab chawanmushi, crab tempura, crab sushi, clear soup, and dessert. It was delicious and the portion size was just right. However, as I was busy picking apart the crab for my elderly family members, the dishes kept coming one after another, and I found myself rushing to eat and enjoy the meal.

I love crabs so much, so I went to "Kani Doraku" again. This time, my friend complained, "Hey, you love crabs so much, why didn't you invite me~," so we visited together. This time we went to "Kani Doraku Dotonbori Naka-ten" which is very close to the East store we visited before. Along Dotonbori, there is a series of Kani Doraku stores - main store, central store, and east store, creating the Kani Doraku Street. [Kani Course "Koubai" ¥5,500] First, we toasted with bottled beer. - Crab vinegar was deliciously moist. It seems like there are slight differences depending on the store. I prefer this one! - Crab sashimi was tender and sweet. - Cold sake, I always end up drinking the same one haha. - Crab chawanmushi, the crab meat is mixed in and has a nice texture, very tasty. The broth is also flavorful. - Crab gratin with crab sauce on top, delicious! The crab flavor in the sauce is also very tasty. - Crab tempura, so delicious! I was disappointed before when I had it at another store because the spices were too strong and I couldn't taste the crab, but that's not the case here. When I went to Osaka, I wanted to go to Kani Doraku~! I wanted to indulge in luxury during my trip☆ I tried to make a reservation for dinner a few days in advance, but it was fully booked, so I decided to go directly during snack time! We ordered the Kani Gozen, Rindou (2500 yen), and Kikyo (3000 yen) to share between two people. First, we had crab vinegar and chawanmushi~ the crab vinegar was delicious! The chawanmushi was transparent and creamy on the surface, with crab inside of course! We also had crab shumai and crab gratin with club sauce. The shumai was served on a small plate and looked cute, and the crab gratin was incredibly tasty, I couldn't help but shout out in delight. And then, the grilled crab... so tasty! I don't usually eat much crab, but the crab here was so delicious that my taste buds were in a state of bliss. For the finale, we had crab miso rice! The crab was shredded and mixed in, and the crispy rice at the bottom was so delicious! For dessert, we had green tea ice cream with matcha sauce... the matcha was really strong! The sweet ice cream paired perfectly with the bitter matcha. I thoroughly enjoyed indulging in all the crab dishes!

To: Kanidouraku in Osaka I came to Osaka for a trip and wanted to eat something good. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of crab, but my three friends were really excited to go so I didn't want to ruin the mood. I ended up getting more of the other dishes while they enjoyed the crab. But seeing my friends' smiles, I could tell the crab must have been delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had the best time enjoying crab when I went to Osaka last year! I went to Kani Doraku and had Taraba crab sashimi, crab miso, and tempura. I also had some sake and was completely satisfied. On the second day, I went to Shinsekai and had beer and kushikatsu during the day. I also had takoyaki. It was a trip to Osaka where I ate to my heart's content!
