Today, on October 22nd, Reiwa 4 (Saturday), I visited a second establishment. First, I had sweet potato shochu, then white wine, and something else that I forgot, but I had a second toast of the day with the main guest, a refreshing soft drink! My stomach was already full, so I didn't eat much, but I had 4-5 cups of shochu with my friend, half a bottle of white wine, and about 2 cups of the soft drink, along with the dishes in the attached photo! We had a fun time drinking, but when I got home and received the receipt from my wife to post on Tabelog, I was surprised by the amount! My wife's payment amount was 14,610 yen! Although I was drunk and the photos may be a bit blurry, both my wife's camera and my camera were used to take photos, and there were no special orders other than the food and drinks in the photos. I do remember spilling the shochu cup and ordering more, though (laughs). We only stayed for about 30-40 minutes, so it seems like there may have been a mix-up with another customer's bill. I realize now that it's better to get a detailed receipt rather than just a receipt when having a fun and tipsy time! Mistakes like this happen in life from time to time. Let's forget about it, as it diminishes the enjoyment of the experience. Thank you for the meal!

The sashimi looked delicious so I decided to go in! I had a sashimi platter with 5 different kinds of fish, tuna medium-fatty tuna yukhoe, and a bottle of beer. The sashimi platter was rich and delicious with squid, tuna, shrimp, sea bream, and yellowtail. The tuna medium-fatty tuna yukhoe was also rich and delicious.

I visited a restaurant in Sand City after missing the lunch timing while touring facilities related to Mr. Kazuo Kobayashi in Ikeda. Despite slightly passing the last order time for lunch, they kindly welcomed me. I was tired from walking and the cold beer was refreshing. The sushi that came out was just the right size with eight different toppings. I was happy to see shrimp in the chawanmushi and freshly fried tempura. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat boiled fish! I really want to eat it!! Oh? Boiled sea bream set meal for 1,000 yen (tax included) - what a great deal! I have to try it! I quickly entered the restaurant, and there were quite a few customers inside. I immediately ordered the boiled sea bream set meal, but then I was told, "I'm sorry, we're out of sea bream." Oh no! "We can make a yellowtail collar simmered dish instead!" Oh, that sounds wonderful! So, I ordered the yellowtail collar simmered dish set meal! And then... ta-da! The yellowtail collar simmered dish set meal arrived. Wow, the portion is huge! It looks so delicious! I can't wait to try it! It's amazing! The flesh is so tender, the broth is flavorful, and the rice is perfect! This is the right choice. If you like yellowtail collar, you'll love this dish. I must have seconds of rice with this dish! The miso soup is also delicious. The yellowtail collar simmered dish set meal is truly impressive. And to finish it off! Wow, it was delicious. I wanted to try the boiled sea bream, but I'm glad I went with the collar simmered dish. And when the chef asked, "Did you enjoy the meal?" I replied, "Yes, I'm completely satisfied." I've found a great new restaurant, and it was a fantastic lunch experience! Thank you for the meal!

Celebrating the daughter's university acceptance at the second restaurant. We enjoyed a lively atmosphere with fresh sashimi platter and more at the izakaya. I invited the mother and daughter to another recommended restaurant nearby called *Uo Uoichi*. The daughter enjoyed the yellowtail sushi and toro roll, among other stylish dishes. The mother, a strong drinker, had a few snacks and drinks, including sweet potato shochu and white wine. The daughter toasted with a refreshing drink for the second time today! We had a fun and peaceful day eating and drinking, with a few mishaps like spilling wine. Thank you for the meal.

This is the basement floor of Sancity Ikeda. Today I ordered 8 pieces of sushi for 900 yen including tax. The short-haired owner in his 30s to 40s has a craftsman-like vibe. The place seems like a former establishment, but it has been renovated. I usually eat supermarket sushi, so I appreciate the warm sushi rice. The sushi pieces are small, with a rich purple color and sweet red miso soup. In terms of hygiene, it's average. The table where the dishes are placed could use a bit more attention. The owner kindly mentioned to let them know if I wanted any additional items. After Asahi beer in a medium bottle for 600 yen, although thick-cut sushi is currently popular, if there's a sense of value, it's a shop worth visiting. I enjoyed the meal.

On January 9th, in the third year of Reiwa, I had a light meal at Whity with red wine and cheese dishes before taking the Hankyu Takarazuka Line from Umeda to Ikeda Station. While on the train, I suddenly felt like going to a place I haven't been to in a while. *Sushi and seasonal seafood at Uo Uo Ichi* Located on B1F of Sun City Ikeda, directly connected to Ikeda Station, this restaurant opened in April 2012 and is approaching its 10th anniversary soon. I have visited this place around 7 times, enjoying sushi and fresh seasonal seafood with family and friends. The impressive sushi and variety of fresh seafood dishes prepared by the owner chef still remain unchanged and have become well-established in the local area. The reasonable prices, including for lunch, contribute to the popularity and stability of this restaurant. Now, after having a glass of wine at Whity, I continue with wine here as well. The menu offers a variety of dishes that pair well with half bottles of red and white wine. I was once again impressed by dishes like simmered tai fish and fried octopus, which made me even more captivated by the fresh ingredients. I will definitely come back with an empty stomach to try more, such as the dynamic rolled sushi. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After finishing a meeting in Ikeda with my colleague in the morning, we decided to have lunch. We were originally planning to go to a curry restaurant, but because of the hot weather, we wanted something light. We ended up passing by the curry restaurant and went to a sushi restaurant tucked away in a corner. I ordered a seafood bowl with vinegared rice, which was topped generously with wasabi. I used the wasabi sparingly. There was also ikura, which I'm not a fan of, but it was surprisingly delicious without any fishy taste. The sushi had about four different types of toppings, and the white fish sashimi had a fresh and unique chewy texture. Despite it being a late hour, the restaurant was consistently busy with customers.

Opened in April of the 24th year of Heisei, *UoUoichi* has already been around for 7 years. Located in the basement 1F of a building in front of the station, it may not stand out, but it has become well-established in the local area, exuding a sense of stability and the atmosphere of a long-standing establishment. It is a top-notch restaurant where you can feel at ease bringing anyone along. The variety of sushi, fresh seafood, and other dishes captivates us. After spending the day together with my second son, we decided to stop by this familiar place for our second meal of the day. Despite having indulged in food and drinks at a izakaya in Juso for our first stop, my son still seemed unsatisfied, which led us to visit this place. His favorite ikura was the first thing my son ordered - overflowing ikura! The owner's playful recommendation was a hit. I opted for the scallop sushi. For drinks, we ordered Red Tama Punch @400, Highball @450, Red Wine (half bottle) @1,450, and White Wine (half bottle) @1,450. The flavorful seafood dishes included Uni and Ikura Chawanmushi @780, Scallop and Shrimp Ajillo (with baguette) @1,280, along with Bamboo Shoots Simmered in Soy Sauce @480 and Nasu Dengaku @680. Although we ordered a bit less due to it being our second stop, each dish had a deep and enjoyable taste, striking a balance between a down-to-earth feel and a touch of luxury. It was a delightful meal. Thank you for the feast.

Fish Market Sushi is a hidden gem sushi izakaya where you can enjoy fresh seasonal seafood. It had been about six months since my last visit in October last year. The sushi chef, the owner, prepares the dishes alone, but always pays attention to the customers from behind the counter, creating a comfortable atmosphere along with delicious food. Today, I had tempura of rapeseed blossoms and cherry shrimp, salt-grilled mackerel, lotus root manju, and avocado and eel sushi rolls. The lotus root manju came with cherry blossom-shaped nama-fu, adding a touch of spring. The avocado and eel sushi rolls are one of my favorites. As usual, I enjoyed some fried dishes and sashimi with beer, followed by sushi with sake. The restaurant was bustling with customers coming in one after another. There were many regulars, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming as always.

Today's lunch was "Sushi Lunch" at UoUoIchi in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture! It's located just a 1-minute walk from Hankyu Ikeda Station, in the basement floor of Sancity Ikeda. I ordered the 8-piece sushi lunch set. Today's selection included tamago, shrimp, scallop, tuna, squid, yellowtail, yellowtail, and salmon. All of them were fresh and delicious, but the yellowtail and squid were particularly amazing! I enjoyed every bite and finished my meal completely satisfied. Full and happy! "Yum!"

Fish Market Sushi is a cozy traditional Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seasonal seafood in a warm atmosphere. It's like a hidden gem sushi izakaya where you can relax without any formality. Located in the basement of Sun City Ikeda, right in front of Ikeda Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. I have been a regular customer for a while, and this time I enjoyed the seasonal autumn ingredients. First, the sashimi. The sashimi of Pacific saury. These days, you can buy Pacific saury sashimi at the supermarket, but the freshly sliced sashimi served at the restaurant is just different. It was thick and delicious. And the tempura too. The tempura of white fish. The peak season for white fish is from February to April, but you can enjoy tempura all year round. As for the seasonal vegetables, we had miso-glazed eggplant. You can eat it with the skin on or scoop it with a spoon. Miso-glazed eggplant is not easy to make at home, but it was delicious. I always start with sashimi, tempura, stir-fry (simmered dish) and have them with draft beer. Then, I switch to sake and finish with sushi. It was delicious again today. Thank you for the meal.

Grilled fish, fried dishes, sashimi, sushi, and various other dishes are all delicious, with the grilled fish being particularly tasty. However, the sashimi platter and fisherman's sushi platter were not very satisfying considering the price. They have a variety of drink options, making it a pretty good restaurant overall.

Today, for our second stop, we visited *Uo Uo Ichi* to satisfy a slight feeling of dissatisfaction from our first stop. We enjoyed a seasonal dish and sushi to fill the gap. This restaurant opened in front of Ikeda Station in April of 2012. Our first visit was in July of the same year, and since then we have visited many times with friends, family, and for business meetings. They offer a variety of Japanese dishes, including fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables, catering to children, elderly, and those who enjoy drinking like us. In its fifth year, the restaurant has firmly established itself in the local community and seems to be thriving. Their lunch specials are quite popular. Today, for our second stop, we decided to keep it light. We enjoyed a half bottle of red wine for 1,300 yen, along with seasonal dishes like simmered bamboo shoots for 480 yen, grilled stingray fin for 280 yen, and grilled miso-marinated eggplant for 680 yen. For sushi, we had grilled conger eel for 720 yen and tuna for 520 yen. It was a bit lighter than we usually go for, but the food and sushi were all delicious. Next time, we'll make sure to fully enjoy the seasonal offerings. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. A favorite restaurant of mine called Uo Uo Ichi, which is a sushi, kaiseki, and small dishes restaurant located on the basement floor of Sun City Ikeda in front of Ikeda Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. I have visited this place with my mother a few times. When visiting a new restaurant for the first time, it can be nerve-wracking, but the kind atmosphere and welcoming smiles from the chef and his wife immediately put us at ease. We have been back a few times since, and it seems like most of the customers are regulars, all of whom seem to be well-mannered. Many gentlemen dining alone can be seen enjoying their meals, some even having hot pot dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh seafood, such as oysters and anglerfish, which are in season right now. Tonight, we had my mother's favorite dishes: conger eel tempura (one-piece tempura), monkfish liver with ponzu sauce, and shirako tempura. Of course, the non-seafood dishes are delicious as well. The "agedashi tofu" is particularly good. It's difficult to fry tofu at home, so having it freshly fried here is a treat. The sushi served as the finale is also delicious, especially the thin rolls. I particularly enjoy the tekka maki and anakyu rolls. I hadn't had much experience with rolled sushi before, mostly just buying them from supermarkets. So, when I first tried the freshly made rolled sushi here, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. Lastly, the "lotus root manju" is a favorite dessert to end the meal. Ordering sake here comes with the bonus of being served in stylish ceramic tokkuri and ochoko, which adds to the overall enjoyment.

The name and appearance of the restaurant seemed like a typical sushi chain, but it turned out to be okay. Started with the recommended dishes of sanma sashimi and scallop sashimi. The scallop was quite delicious, but the sanma was watery and lacked flavor. The fried items were mostly children's menu items like potato fries and crab cream croquettes, so I passed on those. The grilled dishes, such as grilled salmon belly and grilled tuna cheek meat, were tasty. The cheek meat was not very generous in portion, but grilling it with a small torch was enjoyable. Then I had a set of nigiri sushi, with each piece priced individually ranging from 260 yen to 420 yen. The hamachi and salmon were delicious, but the more expensive medium fatty tuna and sea urchin were disappointing. The medium fatty tuna was more like regular lean tuna, and the sea urchin looked unappealing and lacked flavor. The restaurant interior was fairly clean, but the table near the entrance made it chilly every time a customer came in or out. They provided different sets of soy sauce and ponzu for each dish, which was nice. Despite being a prime location just a minute walk from the station, most of the restaurants on the basement floor of the building were closed on a Saturday night, with only a few open including this sushi restaurant, a fugu restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a standing bar. It seems challenging for basement dining establishments to thrive.
