I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the Kanto region. I haven't seen it much in Kansai, and I thought I might never eat it again, but I found it at the food court in Rinku Town and bought it right away. The garlic soy sauce flavored pork belly here is so delicious that it increases my appetite and I end up eating it with all my heart. It was so delicious. I will come back again. I went to the food court at Moriguchi Lalaport. I ordered the "Masimashi" from Sutadon. The portion was huge - was it meat or rice? Anyway, the volume was amazing. The meat was finely chopped, and the taste was very strong with lots of garlic and salt. The miso soup was delicious.

The price is around 1130 yen for both lunch and dinner, making it a great option for those who want to eat delicious food to their heart's content. The portion size has received high ratings even from those with well-trained stomachs from Umeda Mountain. The meat is tender, without any unpleasant odor, and the oil in the breading is not overwhelming. The sauce, with a strong garlic flavor, packs a punch, but having salt and pepper available as an alternative would be nice. The rice is slightly soft, but if it were cooked a bit firmer, it would elevate the dish to a higher level as a rice bowl. The cabbage is tender and juicy, and while it was delicious, there could be a better way to enhance the tenderness of the meat, perhaps through seasoning. Overall, it's close to being great but falls just short.

In May 2023, I visited Lalaport Izumi in Osaka. For lunch, I went to the food terrace on the 3rd floor. Although there were popular ramen shops like Mitsuba and Wami, I decided to skip ramen that day. First, I had minced pork rice and oil-drizzled chicken at "Sawada Restaurant," and then I headed to "Legendary Sta-Don-ya" (it might have been my first time there). I found a limited menu item only available in Izumi, so I ordered that. The Sta-Don & Izumi Set for 1630 yen included Sta-Don (regular size), 3 pieces of fried chicken, salad, miso soup, and a drink. The Sta-Don was a bowl of pork belly marinated in a secret garlic soy sauce, topped with plenty of rice and an egg - it was absolutely delicious. The set also came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, making it a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It was a weekend just after the opening, so we headed straight to the food court after arriving around 10 o'clock. I had the tempura rice bowl, while my partner had the "stamina" rice bowl, which I had never heard of before. What's that? A pork bowl? My partner seemed to have been wanting to try it for a long time, so it was their first time having it. They seemed happy eating it, but the taste was a bit different than what they expected. It was quite flavorful and seemed to have a lot of garlic in it. However, they seemed satisfied, so I think it's good.

I had always wanted to try this sukiyaki bowl restaurant! It was my first time visiting Lalaport Izumi in Kadoma, and I decided to start by filling my stomach at the food court. I chose the sukiyaki bowl with cheese topping and upgraded the size, which cost 1,010 yen.

I waited 10 minutes to order and then another 15 minutes for the buzzer to go off at this newly opened shop in the food court during Golden Week. However, it was smoother than I expected. The bowl had pork with a spicy soy sauce flavor soaked in. Mixing it with the egg slightly mellowed the spiciness. It might be good for those who like the spicy soy sauce flavor. The amount of pork was decent. It cost 910 yen including tax.

I saw this restaurant on TV about ten years ago and it caught my interest. They were offering free extra meat for the grand opening of the LaLaport. The flavor was like ginger pork, which I think men would enjoy. It was delicious. Next time, I want to try the set meal with grated yam.

It was a normal fried set meal that was neither good nor bad, just average and edible.

This is Lalaport Izumi, which opened a little while ago but it's still bustling. I heard about the legendary "Sta-don," but tried it for the first time with the Sta-don & Izumi set. I wonder what makes it Izumi. Maybe it's the fried chicken. It's just delicious.
