I passed by the shop many times and finally decided to try it out. I ordered the Cha-mi Tonkatsu, made with a special brand of pork from Kagoshima prefecture. When I got home, I immediately dug in. The large tonkatsu looked delicious, and biting into it, the savory flavor of the meat spread out slowly, with a depth and richness that seasoning alone couldn't achieve. The special sauce for tonkatsu was also delicious, with a sweet and sour harmony that paired perfectly with the flavorful meat. The potato salad was also tasty, with a seasoning that was on a different level compared to store-bought ones. I felt like I could keep eating more rice... The shop seemed to have a family-friendly atmosphere, with cute drawings on the wall separating the kitchen from the dining area. It was heartwarming to see. There were also cute picture books in the shop, with simple and adorable illustrations. However, I couldn't quite follow the story development in the books, which made me chuckle. Overall, the bento was delicious, and I look forward to trying out a different menu item next time.

On June 8, 2015 (Monday), while driving down the street, I noticed a sign that read Oga Bento. My partner wondered if it was related to that Italian restaurant. We decided to check it out, and it turned out to be Oga Ristorante, just as we suspected. It reminded me of a visit I made there about three years ago. The restaurant opened around April 20th. It's a takeout-only place, and you receive a number tag when you order. There is a sink near the entrance for some reason. I took the food home and had it for dinner three hours later. Even though it was cold, the quality of the ingredients made it delicious. I bought a mini bento with tasty chicken and a mini donburi with salmon and ikura. Both were delicious, and I would love to go back again.

The Oga Ben restaurant was delicious. The Oga bowl was made with bonito tataki, which was a bit resistant. The sauce was lacking and the flavor was almost non-existent, so I thought it could have been a bit more flavorful overall. But I guess this amount is just right for health reasons. It's nice to see more and more of these kind of restaurants that take care in their preparation.

They delivered three bento boxes, so the service was good in that sense, but the actual bento boxes were mediocre. The Ogasan bento is supposed to have daily changing dishes, but when I ordered, it had a stir-fried dish like eight treasure vegetables, grilled fish, sweet kinpira, soft macaroni, and pickles. There was very little variety in dishes besides the stir-fry, and it seemed like they just piled up lettuce for volume. The tonkatsu bento had only tonkatsu as the main dish with no other side dishes except for salad. The kids' bento was basically the same as the adult meal, just with smaller rice balls. The side dishes included fried chicken, smile potatoes, the same macaroni as the adult meal, and an orange. The fried chicken was cooked well, but required strong chewing. I thought there would be a tamagoyaki based on the photo, but it wasn't included. Overall, it's not worth ordering again.
