I had dinner in Tenjin, Fukuoka, and casually walked into Osaka Ohsho in Tenjin New Town. I ordered the oil-drizzled chicken set meal for 860 yen using the touchpad. It was around 7 pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was quite crowded with many solo diners, so I was seated at the counter in front of the kitchen. Although I could see the kitchen, the cooking area was covered, so I couldn't see the food being prepared, which was a bit disappointing. The food arrived in about 15 minutes due to the busy atmosphere. The portion of the oil-drizzled chicken was not very generous, possibly due to recent cost increases, but it had a unique crispy texture and tasted delicious.

I felt like eating gyoza and visited this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the fried gyoza for 280 yen and the liver and leek set meal for 860 yen using the tablet. The female staff managing the store was quick-witted and efficiently handling various orders that came in quickly. The first floor was full, so I was guided to the second floor. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the fried gyoza and liver and leek set meal were served together. The fried gyoza didn't look quite right, even though it had a nice color. The liver and leek dish was delicious, but the portion seemed smaller than usual. Maybe it was just a coincidence, as I've been visiting restaurants with good value recently. Thank you for the meal.

Just near Tenjin Station, there is an Osaka Osho. I had been curious about their original menu item, Mazesoba, so I decided to try it! I have been to Gyoza no Ohsho a few times before, but this was my first time at Osaka Osho, so I also ordered some gyoza. Orders are placed through a touch panel. Mazesoba (800 yen): I thought I liked mazesoba, but maybe not (laughs). The flavor was very strong, almost overpowering, even without adding any seasoning. I had once tried mazesoba at a now-closed restaurant and loved it, so I may have been mistaken in thinking that I liked mazesoba. The bonito flavor was also a bit too strong. And there was way too little garlic chives! It was only when I added some rice that it became delicious. It was good to finally try it, as it had been on my mind for a while. Original pan-fried gyoza (280 yen): I really liked the gyoza! The filling had a rich umami flavor, not overly packed, and was soft. The skin was thin and didn't make me feel overly full. It also goes well with rice. Although the mazesoba wasn't quite to my liking, the gyoza was great, so Osaka Osho has now become a reliable chain for me. The cheap oolong tea served in a large glass is also nice.

On my day off, on my way back from going out, I was looking for a place to have dinner around Shintencho, and I saw a sign for a local specialty in Okayama, "Ebi Meshi Set Meal," at Osaka Osho Shintencho store. Intrigued by the "Ebi Meshi," which resonated with me as I had lived in Okayama twice before, I decided to enter. It had been a while since I last visited Osaka Osho, and I was a bit confused by the new touch panel ordering system, but I managed to order the limited-time "Ebi Meshi Set Meal." My wife ordered the Stamina Spicy Motsu Ramen. While waiting and snacking on the Stick Chicken we ordered together, after about 10 minutes, the "Ebi Meshi Set Meal" arrived. Huh? It looked quite different from what I had imagined Ebi Meshi to be... I expected Ebi Meshi to be a dark brown fried rice with plump shrimp mixed in, topped with shredded omelette, but this one was lighter in color, the shrimp was tempura, and there was even a sunny-side-up egg... Perhaps they made some subtle adjustments to avoid complaints from the original Ebi Meshi restaurant, but honestly, I was disappointed. As for the taste, the curry flavor in the light brown fried rice was too strong. It felt more like curry fried rice than Ebi Meshi... The original Ebi Meshi itself originated from a curry dish at a curry restaurant in Shibuya, which was passed down by a staff member from Okayama and started being offered in Okayama. So, the original Ebi Meshi does have a curry flavor, but this one was different... I felt really let down. The Stamina Spicy Motsu Ramen that my wife ordered had just the right amount of spiciness and plenty of ingredients like motsu, and it was quite good, which made my disappointment even greater. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Shin Tenmachi during the day. There aren't many places where you can drink during the day. So, I ended up going to a gyoza shop that was selling their gyoza on the street. I sat down and waited for a while. Hmm, something feels off. I had a bad feeling. Since they seemed to have a limited amount of fresh gyoza, I ordered a bottled beer. The gyoza was large and went well with the beer. Of course, gyoza is their specialty. The portion size of the gyoza was quite generous. I ordered a highball. I hoped that the alcohol and snacks would run out at the same time, but I ended up with leftover alcohol. I decided to order another plate of gyoza. Huh? What? I couldn't believe my eyes. Is this the same as before? The difference between the first and second photos was clear. It was shiny black. I felt like I should have said something.

I went to a nearby long-established Chinese restaurant that was about to close, but there was a long line so I decided to go to this restaurant instead. I ordered two servings of dumplings and a plate of udon noodles, which cost around 1,000 yen. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous. The dumplings, in particular, were large and very affordable. It seemed like they were the signature dish for a reason. It was a bit busy during lunchtime, but the staff were friendly and welcoming to solo diners. Payment could be made with cash or GOTO Eat vouchers. Overall, it was a good choice for a quick and satisfying meal.

When I was in Fukuoka, I always thought I had to have Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, but I got tired of it (^^;) I wanted to eat basic ramen! But I also wanted some vegetables because my nutrition balance is all messed up during my business trip. The result is this! It's a different kind of ramen from Hakata ramen, more like the usual ramen (^-^) It tasted really delicious after not having it for a while. Thank you for the meal (^-^)

It's been a while since I last visited Osaka Ohsho about a year and a half ago at the Kashiwa branch. I've been wanting to go back but just haven't had the chance. I really wanted to eat their gyoza, so I ordered the gyoza set. I thought there was a set with gyoza for two people, but I couldn't find it, so I ordered the single gyoza set. If there's a single, there must be a double or triple, right? By the way, they've changed to a touch panel ordering system. It took about 10 minutes to get my food. I took a bite of the gyoza. Delicious!!! The gyoza at Osaka Ohsho is really good. I felt like one serving wasn't enough, so I added another serving for two people. I was so satisfied with the gyoza after not having it for a long time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the historic arcade of Tenjin, "Shintencho," this Osaka Ohsho branch recently underwent a summer-themed makeover. The foot traffic has been gradually increasing, and with the first floor fully occupied, we opted for the more spacious table seating on the second floor. Orders were placed using a touch panel, and each table was equipped with alcohol spray for safety. The classic gyoza, priced at 223 yen per serving, was a must-try. We also ordered the Tianjin-style fried rice gyoza set for 646 yen, a single serving of gyoza for 223 yen, and the Sakurajima chicken karage for 619 yen. We decided to share the large portion of fried rice between two people. The gyoza had a different taste compared to the original Osaka Ohsho branch, and the fried rice was quite filling, almost like a drink due to the sauce. The chicken karage, made with breast meat, was lightly seasoned and enjoyable. Overall, we found the simple Tianjin-style fried rice to be the most pleasing dish. Thank you for the meal! After finishing work today, I headed straight to this shop based on a post from a follower that caught my interest. Upon arrival, I immediately ordered the following dishes: Forbidden Tartar Oil Dripping Chicken Fried Rice Dumpling Set (1,008 yen) and a medium-sized draft beer (539 yen). If you're ordering dumplings, you definitely need beer! I mean, just reading the description already makes me love it! It's gotta be delicious, right? Haha. The flyer's description is also intense, saying "Special crispy oil-dripping chicken on garlic fried rice. Topped with tartar sauce to unleash the calorie limiter. A chaotic temptation that you can't resist. Reason vs. appetite." I was filled with anticipation, and after about a 10-minute wait, the dishes arrived! I was expecting a more substantial appearance, but the impact was surprisingly minimal... maybe due to the size of the oil-dripping chicken? Well, taste is what matters more than appearance! Let's dig in! The fried rice was pleasantly fluffy with a strong garlic aroma. The sweet onion in the fried rice added a nice touch, and the chicken cutlet had a crispy coating, although the meat was a bit firm. The tartar sauce leaned more towards mayonnaise than tartar sauce...? Also, the oil-dripping chicken sauce was not as strong as I had imagined. The crispy leeks and tangy sauce are the highlights, but perhaps adding more of the oil-dripping chicken sauce would be good. The dumplings were delicious, of course...! And the beer goes down smoothly...! The combination is interesting! There may be room for further improvement. Personally, I would like to see more of the leek sauce from the oil-dripping chicken added! I look forward to further improvements on this already unique menu! Haha.

I visited for the purpose of using a coupon. I had mini fried rice (410 yen including tax) and dumplings (free coupon used). There are entrances on both the shopping street side and the road side. When entering from the road side, I was guided to sit near the entrance on the shopping street side, but the counter felt narrow in depth, and the tables felt small. Also, there is a chance of touching other customers when moving to the seat. The fried rice lacked a distinct flavor, similar to Ling's Hut rather than Gyoza no Ohsho in a chain store comparison. There was chili oil on the table, but the words "iron insert" caught my attention, and without any explanation, I didn't understand what it was supposed to be outstanding for.

Stamina Ramen Gyoza Set, around 700 yen. I think it was a special deal, so I visited after a long time. I've been really into gyoza for the past half year, so I was looking forward to it here too! It was quite crowded, but the order arrived in about 10 minutes! The portion was amazing! The gyoza was really delicious! It's not the juicy type, but it has a lot of meatiness, which feels manly in a way. And the spicy ramen also went well with it! I would like to revisit if it wasn't for the calorie overload!

Osaka Osho is a nationwide chain of Chinese restaurants, known for their dumplings and other Chinese dishes. The name "Osho" means a piece in Shogi (Japanese chess). There is a similar restaurant called "Gyoza no Osho," which originated in Kyoto. However, it is said that they were originally the same company. Osaka Osho has 10 stores in Fukuoka, but they are more famous for their frozen food. In other words, if you want to eat at home, choose Osaka Osho, and if you want to dine out, choose Gyoza no Osho. As the name suggests, it is a Chinese restaurant that focuses on dumplings. I recommend trying the Gyoza set meal, which comes with 2 servings of dumplings, fried chicken, rice, and soup. They also offer other dishes such as boiled dumplings, ramen, fried rice, and Tianjin-style rice bowl. Orders can be placed using a touch panel and are available in multiple languages.

Visited a restaurant for a second party with my company's colleagues! It was a perfect choice as my colleague loves to eat and I love to drink. The restaurant is located in Shintencho, so we didn't get wet in the rain when entering. The closing time was 11 pm, with only 1 hour left and an announcement that there were only 3 plates of gyoza left. We quickly ordered the following: - Grilled gyoza (2 servings) - Sweet and sour pork - Draft beer The grilled gyoza arrived in just 3 minutes, which was surprisingly fast. The skin was crispy, and the ratio of pork to cabbage was perfect, making it a juicy gyoza. The beer went well with it. Since I was already full, I let my colleague enjoy the sweet and sour pork. We had a great time for an hour. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I was looking for a place to have lunch near Tenjin, and I decided to try this restaurant. It's a chain restaurant, so many people may be familiar with it. I won't go into details about the restaurant itself. I ordered the Gyoza & Fried Rice lunch set. The gyoza was crispy, which I personally love, and the fried rice was fluffy and easy to eat. The combination of the two was delicious. When I'm struggling to find a place to have lunch in Tenjin, I think this restaurant is a reliable choice. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal!

For lunch on 4/22, I took my subordinates to Osaka Ohsho! I must admit, I really love gyoza! I have a particular preference for the size of gyoza, and I don't consider small gyoza to be real gyoza, haha. In my personal opinion, gyoza should be large enough to just fit in one bite, and that size really brings out the deliciousness. Here's a secret tip for you! Osaka Ohsho offers two types of sauces for gyoza: sesame sauce and gyoza sauce. If you mix about 3 tablespoons of gyoza sauce with 1 teaspoon of sesame sauce and 2 teaspoons of chili oil, you'll get the sauce on the right! This sauce is absolutely delicious!! Please try it, it's really amazing!

I used it for lunch. When it comes to Chinese food around here, this is the only place to go (^^) Recommended for when you want to eat a lot! On this day, they had a limited-time collaboration dish, UFO collab Tianjin rice lol, it's so weird but surprisingly delicious (^^) The flavor is rich, with soba noodles inside the Tianjin rice and a sauce that's like okonomiyaki.

Today's lunch was at Osaka Ohsho! When I lived in Kansai, I used to go there often, but since moving to Kyushu, I haven't been as much. I was excited to go back to Ohsho and I ordered gyoza and Tenshin fried rice! They were both delicious and easy to eat, especially with a bit of a hangover. The sauce was a bit stronger than in Kansai, but I've started to prefer stronger flavors since moving to Kyushu! The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me want to come back again. I might go there for lunch again tomorrow, haha.

New Menu - Osaka Osho Tenjin Shintencho Store {Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City} On November 25, 2018 (Sunday), I visited the Osaka Osho Tenjin Shintencho store. Osaka Osho had been closed for a while for renovations. Before I knew it, the renovations were completed and they had reopened. I discovered what seemed to be a new menu at Osaka Osho. The new menu was "Niku (meat) Chinese dishes"! Upon entering the store, I found out that orders were placed using a touch panel. It seems to be a measure to address the shortage of staff. Now, this is the menu for Niku Chinese dishes! Each dish comes with or without gyoza. I ordered the most standard option, which was the Beef Yakiniku Ramen with gyoza. First to arrive was the Beef Yakiniku Ramen, followed by 6 pieces of gyoza. Of course, when you come here, you have to order gyoza. In the center of the ramen, there was a generous serving of beef yakiniku, along with onions and bean sprouts. I thought the soup would be sweet because of the yakiniku, but it turned out to have a surprisingly authentic soy sauce flavor, with a deep umami taste. The large pieces of yakiniku were quite tender, giving the impression that high-quality meat was used. The noodles were thin and slightly curly. Together with the crunchy texture of the bean sprouts and onions, it was a delicious bowl of ramen. Address: 2-7-244 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City Closed on: None

There is a restaurant located on the south side of Nishitenmachi Shopping Street. You can also enter from Tenjin Southern Street. It is one of the few places in Tenjin where you can have dinner after 9 pm. The restaurant is always crowded. I ordered the fluffy and creamy Tianjin rice bowl (460 yen including tax) with seaweed soup. On top of the white rice, there is a thick and fluffy grilled egg, covered with a flavorful soy sauce broth. When you take a bite of everything together, you experience an incredibly soft and gentle deliciousness that captivates the eater. Once you start eating, you can't stop until you finish. It's piping hot, but the spoon keeps moving. I would love to visit again if I get the chance. Thank you for the meal!
