It's been a while since I walked around Minami. I was looking for a place to eat delicious Japanese food with my female friends. I found a restaurant that serves dishes with conger eel which has just come into season. This place offers winter courses with crab and blowfish, and this time we tried the elegant course with 8 dishes featuring conger eel from Awaji Island. It was originally 8,800 yen, but we got it for 6,500 yen as a limited-time offer. Plus, for an additional 1,000 yen, we had a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option with our reservation. My friend made the reservation for us. I was torn between the 9-dish colorful course, but the elegant course was sufficient and satisfying for us girls. We indulged in conger eel dishes, with a main dish of lightly flavored Kyoto-style conger eel shabu-shabu. From appetizers to main dishes, everything was about conger eel. It was my first time trying raw conger eel, and it had a mellow taste with a natural sweetness that I loved. The conger eel sashimi was fresh and delicious. The conger eel and watercress crispy salad was topped with plenty of kataifi, making it a delightful mix of textures. The Kyoto-style conger eel shabu-shabu was served with a variety of vegetables, allowing us to enjoy the dish at our own pace. The conger eel kataifi fry was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, very tasty, although I preferred it before the hot pot dish. I also enjoyed the thin udon noodles, which were similar to Inaniwa udon, with a smooth and chewy texture. The matcha ice cream was a refreshing dessert with a pleasant aftertaste. Conger eel is always delicious no matter how it's prepared. I was sad when the conger eel hot pot restaurant in Kitahama closed last year, but I'm glad to have found this great place. "Private room dining at Isotei, serving fugu and crab. I always thought that fugu and crab were seasonal dishes for winter, but at this restaurant, the fugu swims in a tank and is on the menu. The live crab that was brought to our table was juicy and full of flavor. The grilled dishes, such as clam, scallop, large clam, live shrimp, and delicious dried conger eel, were all amazing. We had a table grill, but the kitchen staff kindly grilled the food for us to ensure it was delicious. We enjoyed eating the shrimp by biting into it from the head! The conger eel was truly exceptional, living up to its menu description. The A4 wagyu beef, cooked on a hot plate with rock salt, was tender and juicy. The shellfish rice was packed with the flavor of the seafood, making it irresistible. This restaurant is not just about seafood, the meat dishes are also incredibly delicious. And the best part is that the fugu fin sake is all-you-can-drink, with the staff lighting it on fire in front of you to release the aroma. The grilled fugu fin sake was outstanding. I can't believe there is such a wonderful restaurant in Higashi-Shinsaibashi. The 'Seafood Grill Course' menu includes crab sashimi, seasonal grilled shellfish trio, clam, scallop, large clam, live shrimp, delicious dried conger eel, A4 wagyu beef, today's rice, pickles, and dessert, all for an amazing price. The 120-minute all-you-can-drink option is also available. It's a great deal. The restaurant has private rooms with sunken kotatsu seating. Without the all-you-can-drink option, the price is discounted by 1000 yen."

I always go to the affiliated stores, but this time I decided to try this place for the first time. The fact that they have crab is amazing, and the fugu was also delicious as always. However, they seem to have limited stock, so I thought the nearby fugu specialty store might be a better choice to avoid sold-out items. I always eat a lot, so I wish they had more stock available. The crab and fugu were both amazing as usual. The fact that they are open late is a huge advantage. Being able to eat such delicious food at this late hour is only possible here. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. It's a pufferfish, crab, and seafood grill restaurant, and this time, they had a crab course for 7000 yen with all-you-can-drink option, so I made a reservation. We were a group of smokers, so we were able to smoke at our table. The private room had a sunken kotatsu table, so we could enjoy our meal without worrying about others. We also tried the dried firefly squid grilled on a tabletop charcoal grill, which was amazing. Although it's not listed on Tabelog, they had a seafood course, so I'm looking forward to trying that next time. The crab sashimi, crab tempura (my first time trying tempura), crab chiri (hot pot), pickles, and ice cream were all delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the crab chiri, sorry about that!

I visited a popular restaurant located right in the heart of Shinsaibashi, a hidden adult hideaway with private rooms where you can leisurely enjoy high-end seafood such as pufferfish, crab, and spiny lobster. The course I had was the "Pufferfish Course" which included pufferfish dishes with all-you-can-drink. The dishes included pufferfish skin, fresh sashimi, pufferfish sushi, pufferfish tempura, a comforting porridge made by the staff, pickles, and green tea ice cream. The private room was a great setting for various occasions like business entertaining or dates. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and full. It was a delightful dining experience.

The foodie in the Blue Group, HIDEKA. Time difference post. Went to "Isoteki" in Shinsaibashi, which I had been interested in for a long time, to have the first blowfish and crab of the season. Enjoyed dishes like blowfish sashimi, crab miso, fresh oysters, and crab shabu-shabu (forgot to take a picture). They offer courses and all-you-can-drink, but ordering individual items was satisfying enough. The seating is all private rooms, but it feels like they just divided the seats into smaller sections... Recently, it has suddenly gotten colder, right? It's the season for hot pot! This time, I visited Isofue, a restaurant located about a 5-6 minute walk from Nagahoribashi Station and Shinsaibashi Station. They offer options like blowfish, crab, seafood, and Wagyu beef. I chose blowfish! The blowfish course with 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink includes blowfish skin, blowfish sashimi, blowfish hot pot, blowfish sushi, blowfish tempura, porridge, pickles, and matcha ice cream. The blowfish was still moving when it was served, even though it had been cut (laughs). When you enter the restaurant, there is a tank where the blowfish are swimming, and you can see one of them that was swimming there. Needless to say, it was incredibly delicious. The blowfish sashimi, sushi, and tempura were all amazing! If you're looking for a delicious blowfish restaurant near Nagahoribashi and Shinsaibashi stations, be sure to check this place out. I went to eat blowfish with my coworkers in Higashi Shinsaibashi. I always associated blowfish with winter, but we went when it was still hot! The restaurant was located near Sakaisuji in Higashi Shinsaibashi. We had made a reservation in advance for the restaurant and menu. As soon as we entered the restaurant, there was a tank with fish that looked like blowfish swimming in it! The interior of the restaurant had private tatami rooms. The "Ichinofuku Course" with 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink was originally 9,280 yen but was discounted to 7,500 yen. The course included blowfish sashimi, blowfish hot pot, blowfish sushi, blowfish tempura, porridge, pickles, and a sweet dish. The blowfish hot pot was beautifully arranged with various vegetables. We enjoyed the blowfish dishes along with blowfish sushi and tempura while drinking. The blowfish hot pot was delicious, and we even had seconds of the porridge made with the leftover broth. The restaurant staff made the porridge for us. It was indeed a satisfying blowfish feast at a reasonable price. We ended the meal with refreshing matcha ice cream. I would love to visit again during the crab season.

Cost performance, customer service, everything was perfect. I enjoyed crab dishes from appetizers to the end! The crab sashimi was fresh and melted in my mouth! I personally like to eat the shabu-shabu by quickly dipping it in hot water to eat it semi-raw. The crab-flavored rice porridge at the end was too delicious! I will definitely visit when I go to Osaka.

"Nabe" is often thought of as a winter food, but it's actually delicious to eat in the summer as well. In fact, I heard that people in Hokkaido enjoy eating ice cream in heated rooms. And in Hokkaido, summer means "fugu". You can enjoy summer fugu at a restaurant called "Isoteki" in Osaka. The restaurant has private rooms, making it perfect for dining with friends or family without any worries. On this day, I went with a group of friends who all wanted to fully enjoy summer fugu. We started with an appetizer platter, which included the summer delicacy "hamo". We paired it with a cold beer and quickly ordered another round. A cold beer in this season is truly the best! Then, the "fugu skin yudofu" arrived. It was delicious on its own, but even better with momiji oroshi. Next up was the "tessa (fugu sashimi)". The thin slices and unique texture made it a delight to savor. As we enjoyed the tessa, the fugu for tetchiri arrived. It was still moving, as they serve live fugu for tetchiri here. Once the hot pot was ready, we added pieces of fugu one by one, starting with the bones. When the meat easily came off the bones, it was ready to eat. Dip it in ponzu sauce and add your favorite condiments. You can enjoy it to your heart's content! In the middle of the hot pot, we also had "fugu karaage". It offered a different, rich flavor compared to the hot pot fugu. You can pair it with beer or sake, depending on your preference. After enjoying the hot pot, we had zosui, which was a perfect end to the meal. The flavor of the fugu soaked into the hot pot made the zosui truly exceptional. Despite feeling full, it was surprisingly easy to eat. The price for this fugu meal was reasonable, and opting for the all-you-can-drink option allowed us to enjoy sake as well. Summer fugu is surprisingly enjoyable! Make a reservation and have a great time experiencing it!

Masachan here. This time, I visited the fugu restaurant "Isobue". It's just a short walk from Nagahoribashi, not much different from Shinsaibashi. Located south of the European alley, you'll find "Isobue" on the ground floor, so you can easily spot it when passing by. I was guided to a private room. It seems like all the rooms in the restaurant are private. There was a fish tank at the entrance with fugu swimming around. Although it's summer and the season for conger eel, since this is a fugu restaurant, we decided to enjoy both with à la carte dishes. Cheers with a draft beer! Fugu skin hot pot (appetizer) - I really like this. Conger eel platter - Sashimi and conger eel meatballs. Enjoyed with sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. This is incredibly delicious. Conger eel hot pot - The aroma of plum and conger eel is delightful! Conger eel nanbanzuke - I love nanbanzuke, so this was a sure hit. Sashimi - We savored each slice of sashimi. It's really tasty. Fugu tempura - The seasoning is elegant and delicious. This is definitely a plus point. Zosui set - After eating fugu, the zosui made by the staff was delicious. The final zosui is also tasty. We were able to leisurely enjoy both conger eel and fugu. The staff was also very pleasant. I definitely want to come back again. At Isotei in Shinsaibashi, we had a midsummer dinner party. When we entered the restaurant, we saw conger eels and blowfish swimming in a tank. The restaurant offers private rooms and course menus, but in the hot Osaka summer, we wanted to eat eel, eel, eel - especially the traditional eel dishes like "tekkiri" and blowfish. We couldn't agree on what to order, so we ended up ordering a la carte. We started with a toast with draft beer, perfect for the hot summer. I wonder how many refills of beer we had (laughs). We also enjoyed "hirezake" (eel fin sake) with our meal. The highlight was the swimming blowfish hot pot - the blowfish was still moving! We added blowfish bones, vegetables, and kudzu starch to the broth, which had absorbed the essence of the blowfish. The blowfish tempura was crispy and delicious, and the blowfish hot pot was comforting. After the blowfish meal, we had blowfish fried in oil, which was hot and satisfying. The fine flour coating on the blowfish was elegant, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The restaurant staff made a delicious porridge with the leftover broth, vegetables, and blowfish. We enjoyed our meal in a private room, where we could relax and have conversations without worrying about others. The attentive service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The menu was decided based on what we felt like eating that day, with the assumption that we would discuss it with friends before making a reservation. We were happy with the spacious private room. We ended up choosing the Daikoku course for 7,980 yen, which is a full course of fugu (blowfish). The dishes included: - Appetizers: salmon roe, crab meat, cucumber - Fugu skin in hot water: thick and chewy skin with a good texture, not fishy at all, and very generous portions. - Tataki: thick slices with a nice texture. - Fugu shabu-shabu: clean and beautiful meat, various parts to enjoy. - Tetchiri: fugu pieces still moving as they are freshly prepared. - Nabe: lots of fugu and vegetables. - Karaage: crispy and flavorful, juicy fugu meat. - Zosui (rice porridge) + pickles: rich and delicious flavors. - Dessert: matcha ice cream. Overall, it was a long time since we enjoyed fugu so much. The restaurant looked clean and seemed to have been recently renovated. It seems like there would be demand for various occasions.

Upon entering, I was guided to a private room in the back, creating a very relaxing space. This time, I had a fugu (blowfish) course, and for the finale, crab and salmon roe sushi. Fugu in Kyoto's good restaurants usually only have a slight presence with ponzu sauce, but the fugu at this restaurant was clearly different. The meat was sweet, especially the sashimi and fried skin were exquisite. I also enjoyed hot sake, it was truly the best.

In March of this year, I went on a day trip crab tour at Takano "Ryokan Goto" and for a while I was saying "I don't need crab~♪", but after 3 months, I found myself craving it again. However, I didn't feel like having a heavy meal, so I was looking for a place where I could casually enjoy crab. I chose this place, which had high ratings from my reviewer friend. Location/Interior: Located about a 5-minute walk from Nagahoribashi Station, near the Minami Police Station in Osaka, the access is smooth. The restaurant has individual private rooms, which is nice for a relaxing dining experience. We ordered the following for two people: - Swimming crab sashimi 1280 yen - Crab sashimi 1780 yen - Swimming crab hot pot 2280 yen x 2 - Crab shabu-shabu 2480 yen - Blowfish tempura 1780 yen - Blowfish sushi 780 yen x 2 - Grilled crab 2680 yen - Zosui (rice porridge) 580 yen - All-you-can-drink 1800 yen per person It's not cheap, but considering the quality of the crab and blowfish dishes we enjoyed, the total price of around 10,000 yen per person was quite reasonable. Crab: We tried crab sashimi, grilled crab, and crab shabu-shabu, which were all delicious. The sweetness may be a bit subtle and the shell may be a bit hard to remove compared to the crab at Takano "Ryokan Goto", but the flavor of the crab was still enjoyable. Blowfish: Starting with blowfish skin in the appetizer, we enjoyed blowfish sashimi, hot pot, tempura, and sushi. The texture of the blowfish was gentle and quiet, although I personally prefer a bit more chewiness. The hot pot was a bit difficult to eat due to the abundance of blowfish bones, but the rich broth made up for it. Zosui: The egg with a rich yellow yolk was a variety called "Ran-oh". The staff prepared the zosui, which had a simple yet flavorful broth with hints of crab and blowfish essence. It was light and delicious, perfect for ending the meal. As someone who grew up in the Seto Inland Sea region, I have always loved seafood, but crab and blowfish are still luxurious delicacies for me as an adult. This restaurant offers a convenient and comfortable dining experience where you can enjoy crab and blowfish throughout the year. Thank you for the wonderful meal! Good evening.. I really wanted to eat crab sashimi today, so I searched online and found a great restaurant! The location is easy to find, near Namba station. The restaurant is spacious with private rooms. I went with my friend Y-chan, who loves food and drinks. We ordered the all-you-can-drink option for 1800 yen. We started with the blowfish skin with ponzu sauce for 780 yen. Then we tried the crab sashimi for 1780 yen, which was delicious. We also had live pufferfish sashimi for 1280 yen, which was good but could use more green onions. The grilled crab for 2680 yen was amazing, with a rich flavor. We also tried the crab shabu-shabu for 2480 yen, which was satisfying. The live pufferfish hot pot for 2280 yen each was fresh and tasty. We also had blowfish sushi for 1560 yen, blowfish tempura for 1780 yen, and finally, a delicious blowfish and crab porridge for 580 yen. We were very full and satisfied with the meal. The total cost for one person with all-you-can-drink was around 10000 yen. The food and experience were excellent!

This shop is located in Higashi-Shinsaibashi... a bit far from the station but easy to find location-wise. Tonight, I was looking forward to a secret reunion dinner with friends after a long time since the end of the pandemic. We made a reservation at "Isosaki" in Higashi-Shinsaibashi. Although the restaurant is known for its fugu and crab dishes, we decided to try the limited summer hamo udon hot pot course to enjoy the seasonal delicacies. The price was reasonable, and we added the ¥1000 all-you-can-drink option when booking online. We started with a toast, and the steamed hamo appetizer surprised us with its freshness and tenderness. The marinated hamo was also deliciously prepared. The main dish, hamo shabu-shabu, was served with a simmering broth and individual slices of hamo for each person. The Kyoto-style udon soup was exquisite, and dipping the hamo in the broth with plenty of sweet onions was a delight. We also enjoyed the grilled hamo fin sake, which added a nice touch to the meal. The thin udon noodles at the end soaked up the hamo soup beautifully. The cozy atmosphere of the private room made the reunion with friends even more enjoyable. It was a lovely evening filled with live hamo and sake. Can't wait until we meet again! ♡
