Since yesterday, I've been craving yakiniku, probably because of the personal training I did. As I was wandering around Namba Walk, I happened to come across Edoen, and luckily they were still serving lunch even though it was past 2:30 pm. I ordered the Harami lunch for ¥2200, which was surprisingly tender - I thought it was kalbi at first. It was also a nice surprise to find out that you can earn ANA miles with your ANA card. I had no idea about this until the staff kindly pointed it out when I paid with my ANA card.

The temperature on the ground is getting hot... Walking while searching for shade... When it becomes unbearable, I dive into the underground mall... Osaka is nice because you can enjoy going up and down... I start craving for "yakiniku" ♬ Because it's hot, I decide to go to the Food Street Garden in Namba Walk during lunchtime... I aim for the "yakiniku course" and cheers with Malibu and Dry♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ I feel like the lunch course alone is a bit lacking in meaty goodness... So I add four more servings of meat... Starting with kalbi, kalbi, kalbi... followed by harami ( ̄ー ̄). My stomach is quite full, then the sizzling stone bibimbap appears ♬♬ Enjoying the delicious sound of mixing... I eat the crispy rice first (╹◡╹)♡ Then mix in the namul and rice ♡ Delicious ⤴︎⤴︎⤴︎ So happy ♡ Eating to my heart's content and my stomach is bursting... Now, I have a feeling it's going to be hot when I go above ground... So I'll wander around underground for a while d(^_^o) [Osaka is my Another Sky] #FoodStreetGarden #Yakiniku #MeatLover #Eating #Delicious #DeliciousRestaurant #HappyTime #Bibimbap #StoneBibimbap #Kalbi #Ribeye #Grill #Garlic #LoveEating #ConnectingWithMeatLovers #MeatLoverGirl #WantToConnectWithMeatLovers #WantToConnectWithMeatLovers #NambaWalk #Exploring #Meat #Tasty #Delicious #Yummy

"I want to eat meat!" I had been passing by the restaurant 【Shokudoen Namba Walk】 several times before, but never had the chance to go. I went for lunch this time and ordered the "Yakiniku Course" and the "Yakiniku Small Plate Assortment" from the lunch menu. I ordered two glasses of oolong tea through the touch panel system, which was convenient as I didn't have to call a waiter. There were rice options to choose from, so I ordered the stone pot bibimbap and regular bibimbap. It was convenient to be able to choose whether to have it served after the meal!
----- Taste Feedback -----
The yakiniku sauce may be a bit divisive in terms of preference, but personally, I liked that the meat was light and easy to eat. The bibimbap was served with the gochujang sauce in a separate dish, so you could adjust the amount yourself (I put it all in).
----- Overall Experience -----
You can enjoy a leisurely meal in a semi-private room, and it's nice that the staff are attentive without you having to call them. Thank you as always. Itadakimasu! ===========

We met in Namba for lunch and decided to choose a restaurant after looking at the options in Namba Walk. It was difficult to decide because my companion is picky. We ended up choosing a restaurant called Shokudoen and ordered the Yakiniku course (3,080 yen) with a glass of wine and oolong tea. We cooked and ate at our own pace. The meat was just okay. We also ordered the sesame leaf soy sauce dip, which had a unique aroma that was overpowering for us. We couldn't finish it all and apologized to the staff. Despite that, we enjoyed eating slowly. There was a person dining alone as well. The Earl Grey ice cream we had after the meal was a bit too sweet. The portion size was slightly larger than usual, so we felt full. The price was a bit on the higher side, but it was a safe choice for dining with a picky eater. It was a good experience. Thank you for the meal.

Everything was good, but the thick-cut tongue was the most delicious♡ All dishes were tasty and satisfying for the price. The oxtail soup was not greasy, which was great! The kimchi fried rice had a generous portion. The sirloin was very tender. I tried everything and it cost 15,800 yen in total. I'm glad I could come here as I wanted to try it once. ✨

When you eat yakiniku, your spirits are lifted, right? I feel like when you want to increase your fighting spirit, you start craving yakiniku. I went to a restaurant called "Shokudoen" in Namba Walk. Namba Walk is convenient, isn't it? It's connected underground, so you can walk from Namba to Nipponbashi. Shokudoen has its main branch in Soemon-cho and around 10 other stores in Osaka Prefecture. I ordered the following:
- Yakiniku Bento
Since it's in a bento box, the meat is already cooked. Spicy seasoning comes separately, so you can add it to your liking. It also comes with kimchi, chijimi, nori, small fish side dishes, and namul. The rice portion is generous. The yakiniku was surprisingly plentiful and satisfying because the meat slices are thin. The lunch menu also includes dishes like black wagyu beef curry, bibimbap steak bowl, and wagyu hamburger lunch. There's quite a variety. I saw some solo female diners, so it seems welcoming for individuals. I left feeling full. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch at Namba Walk. It is a place that is frequented by many people working in Osaka. One day, I decided to try out this famous yakiniku restaurant that I stumbled upon. They have a wide range of lunch menu options, and it seems to be popular among regular customers who enjoy a drinking session from lunchtime onwards. While the yakiniku bento boxes are the main attraction, I was intrigued by the volume of the Harami bowl from the menu photo, so I ordered it (990 yen). The quality of the meat was as expected, but what caught me off guard was the taste. The meat was coated with a sour sauce that the rice absorbed, resulting in a sour overall flavor that seemed off. I couldn't understand how anyone could think that bland meat with a ponzu-like sauce and watery rice would be delicious. The sesame seeds were also a mystery, and the Korean seaweed was unnecessary. I don't think the kimchi was needed either. To be honest, I felt like they were underestimating their customers. If they think they can make money with this, they will surely be abandoned by customers in the near future. I hate to say it, but this is a restaurant to avoid for lunch at Namba Walk. Just my personal opinion. I'm sorry.

Lunch menu: Bibimbap Steak Donburi, around 950 yen? Personally, I prefer bibimbap in a stone bowl. Bibimbap is usually mixed, but with the steak (meat) it was hard to mix well. I noticed a few people ordering it, so maybe it's a popular menu item. The taste was average. However, my expectations were not met, so my rating is on the lower side.

I had some business in Osaka today, but since I don't usually come here, I didn't know my way around. So, I ended up going to this place in Namba Walk near the station! I arrived around 6:30 pm and there were no other customers. Maybe it's because of the coronavirus. I went inside and saw the menu, and decided to order the grilled meat small plate assortment that was displayed at the entrance! It includes about 3 pieces of 6 different types of meat (including chicken), rice, and kimchi, all at a reasonable price. It's a very satisfying set! If I had to nitpick, I would say that I wished there was some soup included as well.笑笑

It was raining and I felt like just hanging out at Namba Walk, but I also had a craving for cold noodles or curry because of the heat. I decided to go for the cold noodles at Shokudoen. I usually like the cold noodles at the shop in Sennichimae, so I headed there. Unfortunately, due to the impact of the coronavirus, the shop was closed, so I had to change my plans. I ended up going to the Namba Walk shop, where I ordered the cold noodles in a large size. The noodles didn't have the firmness that I prefer, but I was told that it's because of the limited kitchen space at this particular shop. The steamed beef was delicious, though. Overall, I couldn't fully enjoy the noodles at this shop because I've gotten used to the firmer noodles at another place. I hope the Sennichimae shop reopens soon. It was still a good meal. Thank you.

I visited this restaurant for lunch and had solo yakiniku after a long time. The seats are spacious and the tables are well-spaced, so you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling awkward even when dining alone. I ordered the harami set this time, and although it was a bit tough, I found it to be more filling and tasty compared to other yakiniku restaurants (which often hype up expensive rare cuts with small portions). I think this restaurant is easy to use for lunch.

I wanted to eat cold noodles, but for some reason it was no longer on the menu. I reluctantly ordered a bento box instead. I wasn't expecting much, but the galbi (marinated beef ribs) was really delicious.
