At Kanidouraku for a summer cool-down - The staff's cleanliness and the front desk's efficient service always impress me, which is why I keep coming back! This time, I chose the summer menu. The taste is as delicious as ever! The crab is added to the rice after it's cooked! My stomach and heart are satisfied, I will definitely come back again.

The restaurant was clean and the service was good, with nice private table seating. I ordered the Misaki course for 5000 yen. The amount of crab was a little less than I expected, but it was still a satisfying portion. The crab gratin and tofu dumplings were a bit heavy. The crab sushi, including pressed sushi, rolled sushi, and thick rolls, had a good variety and I was satisfied. I love crab, so I was happy to enjoy delicious crab in the summer. I will definitely go back again.

I wanted to eat crab since the end of the year, but I haven't eaten crab at restaurants much (lol). Normally, people go on crab-eating tours or order a mountain of crabs through hometown tax payment to enjoy at home. So, I was looking for a more casual option and decided on Kani Doraku (Crab Specialty Restaurant). However, on this day (I was in Osaka), almost every restaurant was fully booked! I wanted to go to the main store in Dotonbori but it was a no-go. Other nearby restaurants were also all fully booked. So, I ended up at the Higashi Osaka store! Finally, there was an available seat after coming this far. Kani Doraku is truly amazing. I didn't need a variety of dishes, I just wanted a huge pot of crab to devour. But since I was already there, I ordered crab sashimi, crab gratin, crab tempura, and crab shabu-shabu. The crab sashimi with its soft texture was where I could taste the sweetness the most. The crab gratin was a delight for me, a gratin lover (๓´˘`๓)♡ I could eat it forever. The crab shabu-shabu was also very satisfying, and surprisingly affordable. Oh, I see, Kani Doraku is actually a great and affordable restaurant. When you want to casually enjoy crab, it's definitely a good choice (^▽^)/

Lunch for two people with one soft drink each was a little over 20,000 yen, but it was delicious! The crab sashimi, king crab steak, and Douraku rolled sushi were especially to my liking and very tasty! It was expensive, but the delicious food and relaxed atmosphere made it worth it.

The course included appetizers, boiled crab, sashimi, tempura, gratin, hot pot, sushi, miso soup, and dessert. I was able to enjoy my meal in a private room, and the atmosphere was quiet and nice.

My mother wanted to eat crab, so we decided to go. The restaurant is located along a big road with a parking lot, which was convenient. The interior was spacious and clean, with crabs in the tank. We were seated at a sofa table and the menu looked interesting. We ordered the following for lunch: two Crab Special Sets for 4,400 yen each, Crab Sashimi, Crab Chawanmushi, Seasonal Dish, Crab Hot Pot, Crab Gratin, Crab Tempura, Crab Sushi, and Soup. We also ordered Grilled Crab for 2,200 yen, Crab Karaage for 2,200 yen, and Crab Shell Grill for 1,320 yen. The dishes came out one by one, and my mother seemed satisfied with the crab. It brought back memories of my childhood when my father's friend used to bring us crab sushi rolls, which I still enjoy. My father's friend has passed away, but I always think of him when I eat this dish. Overall, my mother was happy with the crab meal. If we continue like this, the price of live crabs will surely rise next year.

I went to Kanidouraku for a reception. Recently, it has been mostly frequented by local fishermen, but due to the shortened hours during the pandemic, I couldn't go all the way to Minami (Namba) and ended up at Kanidouraku. It had been a while since I last visited, but I was glad to see that the customers enjoyed it. I just wish the crabs were a bit bigger. When it comes to Kanidouraku, or rather my routine, I always buy crab sushi rolls as souvenirs when I return home. They are always delicious! There are various types of souvenirs available, but no matter which store I visit, I always stick to the crab sushi rolls. ♥️

Visited the Kani Doraku East Osaka branch for the first time with 2 people. There were about 3 course options and I chose the middle one. The portions were quite large! - Crab miso Bagna Cauda with crab miso instead of mayonnaise, so luxurious! - Crab sashimi platter with 5 varieties. The crab sashimi was a bit fishy. - Crab steamed rice - Crab hot pot - Extra large crab tempura - Crab sushi - Miso soup - Green tea ice cream We chatted, drank beer, and enjoyed our time in the private room at Kani Doraku. It's been almost 6 years since I last visited here. We had lunch to celebrate a few occasions overlapping. The meal felt like a basic set menu. The kamameshi rice had a nice crispy crust, which was good. It seems to be fully booked due to its suburban location, and we were lucky to secure a reservation this time. Lunch special crab bento, Otohime.

Our family of 4 made a reservation in advance and visited. We have been to many Kani Doraku restaurants and always enjoy the reliable deliciousness. This particular location has spacious private rooms, perfect for this time of year. We had the Wa-ki course, which included classic sashimi, grilled crab, as well as delicious crab gratin and crab tempura. We would love to visit again.

Midway through the 3-day weekend, I made a reservation to visit Kani Doraku with my parents, who had been wanting to go since the end of last year. It had been a long time since we last visited, as there used to be a Kani Doraku near my parents' house. We ordered the Haruka Crab Course for lunch, priced at 4,300 yen (including tax). The course included crab vinegar, sashimi, crab hot pot, crab chawanmushi, grilled crab, crab tempura, crab sushi, soup, ice cream, and matcha. In the past, we used to mainly go to Kani Doraku for crab sukiyaki, so this course was a first for us. The crab was fresh and each dish had its own unique taste, all of them delicious. We enjoyed the fresh, crunchy crab sashimi and everyone was focused on eating crab. The tempura was hot and delicious, and the grilled crab had a sweet flavor. The ice cream with matcha at the end was a new and delightful taste. The timing of serving each dish was perfect, matching our eating pace. Kanidouraku is a great place to enjoy crab courses all year round, so it's a go-to spot even when it's not crab season. The parking lot at the Higashi-Osaka branch is spacious and free, which is a plus. They also have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I had apple juice. For the meal, we had a hot pot course. The staff prepares the porridge, but you can enjoy the rest of the meal in a private room at your own pace. It's nice to see the crabs in the tank, ensuring they are always fresh when served. Today, we enjoyed the summer-colored kaiseki course. The beautifully crafted crab sashimi, especially the kombu-marinated and kombu salt...paired perfectly with the cold crab sashimi. The dashi was delicious, making the chawanmushi tasty too. The gratin and crab sushi were also delicious. Mom, who loves crab and seafood, was very satisfied. It was delicious. I occasionally use Kani Doraku because I can eat crab dishes at a reasonable price, and I think it's a good restaurant with good service. The set menu allows you to try a variety of dishes at a reasonable price compared to ordering individual items. Recently, I have had the impression that prices at restaurants are quite high, but Kani Doraku does not give off a high-priced image despite being well-known. The staff's attentiveness is also impressive. It offers a comfortable atmosphere that is lacking in many recent dining establishments. Going to the Japan Sea side to eat crab can be expensive, but I think I would be satisfied just by trying various dishes at Kani Doraku.

I have always wanted to go to Kani Doraku. After work, I met up with my second daughter and we drove here in her car. We had made a reservation in advance, so we were seated right away. We were led to a private room and placed our order. My son, eldest daughter, and I chose the Kyouki course, which included an appetizer, sashimi, hot pot, gratin, crab sushi, soup, and dessert. The appetizer had crab miso, which was a hit with my son. The sashimi was sweet and delicious, and the gratin was also very good. The hot pot with vegetables was bubbling hot, and the tempura was tasty. By the time the sushi and soup arrived, we were already full. For dessert, we had fruit. My second daughter, who had been craving chawanmushi, chose the Senki course, which included crab vinegar, sashimi, chawanmushi, grilled crab, rice cooked in a pot, pickles, soup, and dessert. The chawanmushi and grilled crab were delicious, and the rice cooked in a pot was perfect for making ochazuke. It was a happy occasion to have a meal with my three children.

Indulging in crab delicacies at Kanidouraku♪ This time, we enjoyed the Yuka set for 3,996 yen and the Taraba crab sashimi for 4,104 yen including tax♪ The Yuka set includes boiled crab, sashimi, chawanmushi, crab gratin, crab tempura, crab rice cooked in a pot, crab dashi tea-soaked rice, pickles, soup, and matcha ice cream. Additionally, we tried the Taraba crab sashimi for the first time and it was delicious! The texture was interesting with a chewy and creamy inside and a skin similar to that of cod roe. It was a crab feast and although it was pricey, it was worth it for an occasional luxury treat♪

I went for lunch on my day off. The restaurant has a parking lot and an elevator, making it popular among elderly people and families. The space is beautiful, with spacious semi-private table seats. I had the Heart Flower 3300 yen lunch course. The vinegar for the crab was sweet and refreshing! The crab sashimi was juicy and delicious with a sweet taste. The crab chawanmushi was piping hot and the broth was delicious. The crab gratin with thin macaroni and creamy white sauce was delicious and hot! The crab tempura had a crispy coating and flavorful crab. I especially enjoyed the crab sushi roll with crab salad. Sometimes I get takeout from this Kyoto restaurant. The miso soup with grilled crab was a nice touch! The dessert ice cream was served with freshly made matcha, which was a delicious combination of bitter matcha and vanilla ice cream.
