This time, I went to CAFE AUX BACCHANALES JR HAKATA CITY store located at 1-1 JR Hakata City 9F, Hakata Station Central Street, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It was for lunch, and I was with a new member of our group. The luxurious interior with glass windows includes sofa seats for two people, giving a spacious and open feel. The seats are also comfortable and roomy. Water is self-service. I ordered the simmered hamburger with red wine sauce made from beef for 1300 yen, and added a drink set for an extra 300 yen to have a hot coffee after the meal. The hamburger was tender and the beef was cooked to perfection. It came with carrot rapé, a mini salad, and bread. The coffee had a slight acidity to it. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I'm so happy that AUX BACCHANALES has opened a new location! The interior is bright with natural light. They have over 160 seats, but there was a bit of a wait when I went in the afternoon. I ordered the hamburger and beef stew, and they were delicious! I'm not a big fan of hamburgers, but I really wanted to eat this one again. The hamburger was served on a bed of mashed potatoes, which was heavenly for mashed potato lovers like me! The rice was also tasty! The carrot rapé was delicious too, not too sour and very easy to eat. I wish they would share the recipe (lol). The strawberry mille-feuille wasn't too sweet, and I was able to finish it even though I was full. I think it would be even more enjoyable with a hot coffee. The lunch set was a great deal with the option to add a drink for an additional cost and choose a dessert for another additional cost. I definitely want to visit again, maybe next time for dinner! ♥

Located on the 9th floor of Kuuten, directly connected to Hakata Station. This French cafe has branches nationwide, including one in Tenjin Daimaru in Fukuoka. The restaurant is spacious and has a calming atmosphere. The window seats seem to offer a nice view. They offer several lunch options on weekdays. The Hamburg lunch set for 1300 yen includes a mini salad, carrot rapé, and baguette. The dish came out piping hot. It looked rich in flavor but was surprisingly light. I was worried if the broccoli, tomato, mashed potatoes, and rice hidden underneath would be enough, but it was sufficient. The key used as a receipt was stylish. It seems like a nice place to relax and enjoy a leisurely cafe experience. Thank you for the meal.

This used to be a Paul restaurant. I was very disappointed because I loved Paul, but this restaurant was also delicious.

When I pressed the button for service, they just stood next to the table without saying anything. Dessert arrived before the main dish. I ordered a set with a drink and cake, but it took over 15 minutes for them to bring it. After reminding them, it took another 10 minutes. When I asked again, it took 5 more minutes for the dessert to arrive. They had forgotten my drink, so I had to ask for it again. I'm exhausted and in a terrible mood. The taste was good, but they definitely need to work on their service operation.
