Is it Fukuhachi or Shifondou? I reserved a seat on the 2nd floor and ordered on the 1st floor. The red bean butter taiyaki morning was delicious, with the dough being hot and crispy. Red bean butter is the best! Thank you for the meal. Next time, I want to try Shifon too.

Fukuhachi near Osaka Shinsaibashi Station was my favorite taiyaki. The crispy and crunchy thin skin was filled with moist red bean paste and was delicious. I indulged in a taiyaki soft serve, enjoying the mix of hot and cold. The taiyaki I took home remained delicious even when eaten cold, as the thin skin prevented it from becoming tough. The remaining taiyaki was heated up using the microwave and toaster oven as instructed on the bag, resulting in a finish that tasted just like freshly baked. The only disappointment was that the an butter flavor was sold out. Even though I didn't get to try it, I can tell it must be delicious. I will definitely come back for it. When I visited at 6:50 PM on a regular day, there was only one sesame paste bun left. I was actually looking for the custard bun, but ended up trying the sesame paste one. The result was excellent. It was very delicious. It seems they bake until 6 PM, so next time I will make sure to visit before then to try the custard bun.

The red bean paste taiyaki was 216 yen. The skin was crispy, and the inside was moist with delicious red bean paste that melted in the mouth. Alongside the sazae taiyaki, this one is a favorite! The skin had a crispy texture with a satisfying variety of textures to enjoy. I will definitely come back here again!

First challenge of flavors!! ⭐︎ Bacon Cheese ⭐︎ An Butter both were delicious! Be careful when eating because the butter melts! The crust was crispy and that was the best part! It was freshly made so it was even crispier this time. I always end up buying some whenever I pass by! Thank you for the delicious meal.

Around 5:00 p.m. on a regular day. Not crowded. == Taiyaki shop. Takeout only. == About a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. Not too busy compared to other areas in Shinsaibashi. == Traditional Japanese exterior, clearly a taiyaki shop. == The menu is limited. Red bean paste, custard, limited edition butter red bean paste, taiyaki soft serve, and more. == ■ Butter Red Bean Paste Taiyaki 324 yen including tax Overall ★3.6 Red bean paste ★3.7 Skin ★3.4 Very delicious. The sweetness of the red bean paste is just right, and the texture is great. Plenty of solid butter. The skin is ordinary, but with such good red bean paste, you could eat as many as you want. == Thank you for the meal.

On Monday at 12:00, I went to "Fukuhachi" in Shinsaibashi. I ordered the "Taiyaki (Tokachi red bean paste)" and took a bite. It was delicious. The thin and crispy skin was filled with plenty of red bean paste. The sweetness was just right, so I was able to finish this generous portion easily. The shop has the appearance of a takeout-only store, but on this day, I enjoyed it at the eat-in area of the adjacent "Shinsaibashi Roasting Company." Taiyaki is delicious when eaten occasionally. Thank you for the meal.

■ Discovered a stylish taiyaki shop in Shinsaibashi! While on a takoyaki tour in Minami, I came across a taiyaki shop next to a coffee shop that I had heard was "delicious" from an acquaintance before, so even though it was a takoyaki tour, I ended up trying their taiyaki. The building and the shop's logo are cute and appealing.
▶ Shibukawa Maron: It was my first time at this shop, so I was thinking of going for the classic red bean paste filling, but I couldn't resist the autumn limited edition "Shibukawa Maron." The taiyaki they handed me in a paper wrapper was very crispy!! It was not the thick and fluffy type of taiyaki, but rather thin and firm...! The taiyaki also had wings around it like gyoza, which was a unique feature. It had a crunchy texture, and the chestnut filling inside was very rich. Despite being thin, it felt packed with flavor, so it was surprisingly satisfying to eat! After that, I enjoyed a cup of coffee at the adjacent café, which served as a nice break during my takoyaki tour. Thank you for the meal (´▽`)

As I was walking, I felt a little hungry and decided to stop by a random shop. There were more people getting takeout, so the second floor dining area was spacious and had fewer customers. The snack I had was wrapped in thin skin and filled with plenty of red bean paste. It was not too sweet and even had a slight crispiness. I would like to try other flavors as well.

There is a taiyaki shop in Shinsaibashi. They use a method called "youshoku" where they mass-produce by pouring the batter into a mold, adding red bean paste on one side, and then sealing it. The menu offers three types: 1) Tokachi grain red bean paste @162 yen, 2) Custard cream @216 yen, 3) Purple sweet potato red bean paste @194 yen. I purchased 1) and 3). Maybe because they are made in advance or due to the mass production method, the skin lacked a crispy texture. However, the filling was delicious with a moderate sweetness.

I spent a rare holiday close to home. I rode my mama-chari bike around Osaka for errands and ended up in the Shinsaibashi area. As I crossed Midosuji and rode through the alley behind the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel, I spotted a black precious-looking shop with a stylish modern Japanese exterior. I wondered what it was. As I slowly passed by, it seemed to be a taiyaki shop. Although I'm not a big fan of sweets, I suddenly remembered the large taiyaki I used to buy on my way home from school, so I decided to stop and try it. The staff was busy baking at the storefront, with customers buying one after another. They had a simple lineup with only two options, and I bought one Ten-Cho red bean paste taiyaki (150 yen) to eat on the spot. I unwrapped the hot taiyaki wrapped in paper and took a bite. It had plenty of wings like a gyoza dumpling. Starting from the head, the crispy wings and batter texture were nice. Despite its appearance, the thin dough was generously filled with red bean paste. Although I'm not a big fan of red bean paste, there was a good balance of texture and flavor, and it was light and delicious. Eating something sweet usually makes me thirsty, but this taiyaki didn't have that effect. I thought it was worth trying occasionally. After taking a short break with this detour, I headed back to the bike camp. Rating: 3.30

I had some errands in Shinsaibashi and decided to stop by on my way back. A friend had shown me photos before and I thought, "Those taiyaki look delicious!" The shop is called "Fukuhachi," which sounds like it brings good luck. The prices are reasonable too! I walked and ate on my way back. Personally, I recommend the Tokachi red bean flavor. The red bean paste isn't too sweet, it's light and delicious! You can choose your preferred level of sweetness. The crispy skin is also delicious. There were a few customers lined up outside the shop. It's understandable because it's so delicious! I'd love to go back and buy some if I pass by again! This is Fukuhachi in Shinsaibashi. When walking around the America-mura area in Shinsaibashi, you will see a lot of people enjoying tapioca drinks. It seems like there are an abnormal number of them. Back in the old days when I visited, everyone was walking around America-mura eating Koga-style takoyaki, but now it's all about tapioca. Do people in Osaka just really like round things? I'm sure there are more people in Osaka drinking tapioca drinks than in Tokyo. Putting aside discussions about the era and region, I bought a taiyaki from a shop near the entrance of America-mura. The store seemed to have two sides, one side was a cake shop maybe? and the other side was a taiyaki shop. They were connected in the backyard. The taiyaki had two types, one with Tokachi red bean paste and another with a daily special filling. I chose the Tokachi red bean paste for 150 yen. Oh, it was actually 162 yen, so it's 8% for takeout. I ate it right away outside the store, so I didn't really feel like it was takeout. The taiyaki had a thin and slim crispy skin, probably because it was made in advance. The skin and red bean paste blended well, and the main part was moist and flavorful. The red bean paste was not too sweet, with a slightly unique flavor that was subtly delicious. In these times, it seems like we might see taiyaki with tapioca soon. With the reduced tax rate, the battle for takeout supremacy will continue for a while.

I was struggling to decide on a souvenir to buy for my son, but ended up buying taiyaki from a taiyaki shop in front of DAIMARU's parking lot. They had two flavors, red bean paste and chestnut cream. The chestnut cream was rich and almost made me forget about the red bean paste. The skin was crispy and delicious.

It's a taiyaki shop in Shinsaibashi, but it has a slightly stylish atmosphere. They only offer takeout, and there is another shop connected at the back. When I see taiyaki, I can't resist buying one! It's become almost like a habit (laughs). It's not freshly baked, but rather a prepared product. The thin skin and the not too sweet red bean paste filling. I prefer it a bit sweeter. Personally, I don't think the crunchiness is necessary for taiyaki...

This is probably my fourth time here? The taiyaki is popular and sometimes there's a line because it's getting cold. The taiyaki is delicious. The outside is crispy and the sweet dough is really tasty. The sweet potato filling is very sweet. It was delicious! It warms you up. Thank you for the meal.

It was 5 o'clock in the evening. I felt a bit hungry and coincidentally spotted a taiyaki shop. What perfect timing! I really love taiyaki as a snack. Without hesitation, I walked up to the counter and placed my order. The menu offered options like "black sesame paste," "purple sweet potato paste," and "sweet potato," but there were no traditional flavors like custard or chocolate. There seemed to be some kind of special focus. On that day, the available options were the classic "Tokachi red bean paste" and a rotating flavor. I decided to go with the classic "Tokachi red bean paste" (150 yen). I received it and immediately started eating while walking to the station. The taiyaki was small with a crispy outer layer. Although it wasn't freshly baked, there was a slight moistness to the skin, making it easy to reach the red bean paste with each bite. The red bean paste was made from "Tokachi red beans with low sugar content," as stated. The emphasis on low sugar content probably highlighted the flavor of the red beans. I haven't really thought about the flavor while eating taiyaki before, but it's true that a less sweet taiyaki tastes better. Plus, it doesn't leave a heavy feeling in your mouth. It was easy to eat. It was quite small, so I finished it quickly, but it was just right to satisfy my hunger before dinner. Now, let's walk a bit further to Namba.

On my way back walking, I couldn't bear the cold. Besides the sweet red bean paste for 150 yen, there is a daily special for 180 yen, but it was sold out after 8 pm. They didn't have white bean paste. The small-sized bun had a crispy crust and was quite tasty. Maybe because of the location, there were some stylish and beautiful ladies from Shinsaibashi buying them.

The taiyaki was cheap and delicious! As a souvenir, I got the chiffon cake from the same store!

I recommend the red bean paste made from Tokachi red beans in Hokkaido. The mochi is thin with plenty of red bean paste filling. There is also a cafe where you can relax on the second floor. The seating is limited, but the atmosphere is quiet and calm.
