[April 2011 Revisit] It had been a while since my last visit. I was feeling a bit anxious because I was planning to have my wisdom teeth removed, which meant I might not be able to eat delicious food for a while! So, I decided to go eat yakiniku with a colleague to cheer myself up. Coincidentally, my former boss, Manager S, who had transferred to Tokyo, was back in Osaka on a business trip. I invited him along, and we had a lively and hearty meal together. Manager S, who had been craving delicious food during his solo assignment, took charge and ordered a bunch of luxurious meats for us to enjoy. We grilled the meat diligently, but it was a feast of delicious meats once again. I really wanted to try the tongue sashimi that I had enjoyed last time, but unfortunately, it was not available this time. I was too busy grilling and eating, and with the boss present, I didn't take any photos, but I was very satisfied with the delicious meat once again. The salted tongue was delicious, and of course, the hormone meat was a favorite! As one gets older, one starts to appreciate hormone meat more than just regular meat. It's a bit far from both work and home, but I would love to go back to this restaurant again. Hopefully with the rich boss next time (laughs). It was delicious once again.
[April 2009] A restaurant that my senior colleague has been taking me to for 5-6 years. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's always bustling and serves slightly expensive but delicious meat. There are other branches nearby, but for some reason, everyone seems to prefer this particular one. On this day, my companion was someone who enjoys taking care of others, so we left everything to their discretion. Here are the dishes I remember and the ones I took pictures of:
- Tongue sashimi: I tried this for the first time here, and it was incredibly delicious. It had a beautiful pink color and melted in the mouth with a sweet taste. It was a completely different flavor and texture from grilled meat, and I was very satisfied.
- Kobukuro: It was a bit surprising to see it served raw in an unusual state, but you can eat it raw or the recommended way is to lightly sear it before eating. I'm a fan of hormone meat, and although I found the raw version a bit challenging, it was delicious when grilled.
- Salted tongue: It's not the typical thinly sliced, thawed-out tongue. It comes out in a beautiful flower shape, looking plump and delicious. I love tongue, so I enjoyed both the sashimi and grilled versions.
- Negi salad: A surprising amount of green onions came out, perfect for a palate cleanser.
- Various meats: Beautiful steak-like cuts of meat were served on plates. I think my boss ordered them, so they were probably all high-quality meats. Both the lean meat and hormone meats were delicious. The restaurant had the name of the cow from that day written outside, so I wonder if they buy the whole cow? It's a place where you can enjoy carefully selected meats. We had another person join us later, so we ordered even more dishes, and we were truly full by the end! We drank and ate a lot, so I think it was close to around 10,000 yen per person, but under normal circumstances, you can probably enjoy tastier meat at a slightly lower price. The delicious meat paired well with the drinks, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Due to its location, I can't go there often, but it's a restaurant I would like to visit again.
