Hello everyone, great job everyone! I was so moved by Japan's victory in the WBC (World Baseball Classic) (´；ω；｀). I couldn't watch the final game because I was at work, but I did catch the moment of victory on the TV at my workplace. Unfortunately, I was on the phone at that exact moment and couldn't watch it... The one time I took a day off and the person who called me will be forever resented ( ˙꒳​˙ )ｺ〇ｽ. I promise to make sure I take time off to watch the next WBC in three years. On a different note, on the first day of my trip to Hakata, I had a great time visiting various bars and enjoying the night view of Nakasu. I always feel a sense of nostalgia when I visit Hakata. One of my favorite bars in Hakata is "BAR Voeux." The owner and manager are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. The bartenders have a great sense of humor and I always enjoy talking to them. Tonight, I ordered the owner's original Salty Dog cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. It was made by blending grapefruit with the peel still on, creating a unique mix of flavors. I will definitely order it again next time. I mentioned to the owner that I will be visiting Kumamoto for the first time tomorrow, and he recommended a great restaurant for me to try. I really appreciate how freely he shares information and recommendations. I may not be a regular customer, but I will continue to support this bar as a fan. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

This is a BAR located on Nakasu Chuo Street. The interior has an authentic atmosphere and is a lovely BAR. The drink menu is also authentic, and it seems like you can drink what you want. Today, I had a Gin and Tonic followed by a Gimlet. Both were delicious. Two more things that left a good impression. Firstly, they have a wide range of food menu. The main focus was Italian cuisine, but the food menu was very extensive. And it was delicious! I think dining here would also be a good choice. Secondly, the staff were friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was authentic, but the staff were not at all formal and provided service with a friendly smile throughout. It's a very impressive place. I plan to visit again soon.

I was a bit nervous as it was my first time at a bar in Nakasu, even though I am getting older. However, the manager who greeted me was very sincere and provided polite service, which helped me relax immediately. They explained that the coupon only applied to food. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit with stylish white chairs and sofas. I sat in a sofa seat which felt like a semi-private space and was very relaxing. I ordered a la carte, and I found that there are not many bars with such a wide variety of food options. Everything was cooked well and delicious. You can also use it for a second round, so I highly recommend it.

I started with a strawberry-based long cocktail recommended by the master. It was served with crushed ice and two straws. The sweet and sourness of the fruit was just right. The bar has an authentic atmosphere, and both the master and staff are welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy a drink while engaging in leisurely conversation. I look forward to visiting again when I return to Fukuoka.

After the year-end party was over, I stopped by a bar by myself. Due to the influence of the coronavirus, there was no second party, so I was walking around looking for a bar where I could go in alone. I found a bar with an impressive pig logo on the sign and decided to go in. The interior of the bar was authentic, with a wide variety of whiskies and other drinks, creating a relaxed atmosphere. When I asked for the recommended drink, I was suggested a Salty Dog, so I ordered it. They said they used fresh grapefruit, and unlike other Salty Dogs I've had before, this one had a creamy foam on top. It had a fluffy texture and a rich flavor, and it was very delicious! The staff were friendly and we had a great conversation, making it a very enjoyable time. Thanks to them, I ended up having more than one drink, haha. I often come to Nakasu area for meals and drinks, so I would love to visit this wonderful bar again in the future.

The interior had counter seats, booth seats in the back, and seats for couples, making it suitable for various occasions. The food seemed to be substantial, and if the timing is right, you can even taste fish caught by the owner. I enjoyed the leisurely time at the bar! However, I don't have the courage to go alone, so next time, I would like to visit with a few friends!

The Passoa added a light acidity rather than sweetness, giving it a hidden flavor. Just as I was considering trying a different variation, the bartender suggested an Old Fashioned cocktail with a Panama base. The Panama cocktail, made with cacao and cream, was a sweet dessert cocktail with a rum base. It had a rich and creamy texture, with the sweetness masking the strong alcohol content. It was devilishly good. Overall, it was a fun night, and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in the area.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that everything was well and everyone was in good health. I was able to find a seat easily as a group was just leaving. After enjoying a malt at a nearby bar, I decided to sit at the counter and ordered a cocktail, which was surprisingly enjoyable with a milk base. Feeling a bit peckish, I decided to order a snack and was recommended the seafood and mushroom ajillo. Served in a hot pot dish, the ajillo was bubbling with olive oil, generously filled with mushrooms and shellfish. The main mushrooms had a great texture and the flavors of the ingredients stood out. The oil was a bit salty, so I ate the baguette sparingly. The staff then offered to prepare a peperoncino-style pasta using the remaining oil, which was a delightful surprise. I finished my meal with another malt before heading back to my accommodation. Just like when I used to live nearby, I was able to leisurely enjoy my food and drinks in Nakasu. It's a relaxed and enjoyable place to dine.

A calm BAR located right in the heart of Nakasu. I was a bit hesitant to visit here as it seemed a bit high-end, but my friend recommended it as the owner and staff are really nice. It's my second time here, and the atmosphere inside is relaxing. The owner is very friendly and even served us freshly caught fish dishes as he loves fishing. The fish was so fresh and delicious! Surprisingly, the food was better than some Japanese restaurants. I couldn't resist trying the blue cheese pizza, which was also amazing. The drink menu was extensive, and even though I'm not a cocktail expert, the bartender made me a custom cocktail based on my taste preference. It was called the "Whimsical Cocktail" and was made with fresh fruits. The bar has counter seats for solo female customers and box seats for larger groups. I would love to come back and enjoy a leisurely meal here. Overall, it was a great find and a wonderful experience!

I had a relaxing atmosphere during my first visit, and I enjoyed drinking wine with the customers. However, the Southern Rhône Syrah I chose was lacking in power, and the depth of flavor seemed to disappear as it opened up. Next time, maybe I should go with Rioja?

I tried to get used to it, but the smell of smoke remained. I decided to try the recommended Moscow Mule, but unfortunately, it was too strong for my taste. Despite that, the Moscow Mule was well-made with a spicy kick from the ginger. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, but thank you for the meal.

Although it is along Nakasu O-dori, the slightly hidden entrance may be hard to find, but this unique approach is part of the charm of this restaurant. Inside, there are about 10 seats at the bar counter, counter seats for couples around the pillars, and further back, table seats for about 10 people. The divided space feels cozy and allows for a relaxing experience. You can enjoy casual drinks like beer or wine, as well as indulge in sophisticated cocktails. The variety of alcohol is abundant, and the cocktails made by the master from Nana-jima, a long-established bar in Nakasu, are truly delicious and authentic. The master is knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. However, the atmosphere is not too formal, so you can use this versatile restaurant according to your mood or company. Furthermore, the bar food here is excellent. The level of the food is satisfying even for a meal. This is truly a restaurant where you can enjoy everything.

We were led to this place by the mischievous round leader (Vo) amidst the frenzy, with the promise of a delicious Moscow Mule. And indeed, the Moscow Mule we had was delicious. It was a standard yet authentic drink with a sensitive touch, where the primitive flavors of ginger and lime collaborated nicely with Smirnoff Vodka. The temperature was well-maintained, and the overall experience was like saying, "Wow! This Moscow Mule is delicious!" The cute waitstaff added a moist, sizzling touch to the atmosphere. I've been feeling like I can't handle alcohol as well lately, so I'm thinking of cutting back. But my weak willpower only lasts for 2 days. I couldn't decide between eating yakisoba in Momozono or having a drink and going to bed. After a few minutes of contemplating the unimportant choice, I decided to explore a new bar. The entrance is narrow, but there are 8 seats at the counter and the space is clean with about 30 seats. There are two bartenders, including the master, who give off a cheerful vibe. I decided to try the recommended original cocktails, with the popular choices being Moscow Mule and Sky Ball. I opted for the unfamiliar Sky Ball. It has a light fragrance and a refreshing taste, with a hint of vodka. They also served quiche and fried thin pasta as appetizers. Since the food menu is also said to be good, I plan to come back for a light meal next time. Today, I tried the Ardbeg Auriverdes WC Edition. The label says it's a World Cup edition, but I'm not quite sure what that means. It has a strong iodine aroma but is smooth despite being 49.9% alcohol. The master apparently trained under Nana Jima and also has a shop along Keyaki Street in Akasaka with the same name. Despite being young, he seems to be very capable, and his professionalism is impressive. Female customers also come in without hesitation, showing that the bar is becoming known as a place where you can enjoy high-quality drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. I look forward to casually stopping by again.

A friend's favorite bar on Keyaki Street, "BAR Voeux," has opened a new branch in Nakasu! I went there right away. It's not deep in Nakasu, but closer to Tenjin. It had a shallow Nakasu feeling, haha. First, I tried their recommended cocktail, something like a Coral Style Bellini. It was a flavor that women would like. I think it was 1000 yen? Next, I had grilled okra, a seasonal item, for around 600 yen. To satisfy my hunger, I ordered something like grilled cheese Napolitan, which was around 900 yen. They have a sommelier who helps you choose your preferred drink. Bottles start from 4000 yen. The cover charge is the same as the Keyaki Street location, 300 yen. I met the owner after a long time, and they were as friendly and welcoming as ever. The atmosphere was great. It's true what they say about customers following good people. Today I had a drinking party in Nakasu after a long time. I decided to go to Bar Voo Nakasu, which was recommended to me by a friend. The location was just a short walk from the police box in Nakasu. The entrance was a bit hidden in a building along the main street, creating a calm atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff greeted me with smiles as I was the first guest to arrive after they opened at 7 pm. I started with their recommended drinks, a gin and tonic for my boss and a peach cocktail for myself. The peach cocktail was delicious with the taste of fresh peaches. For the second round, my boss had a Moscow Mule, and I tried a watermelon cocktail with a unique ginger flavor. It was my first time experiencing such a taste. We also enjoyed some pizza, spaghetti, and avocado dip. What stood out the most was the excellent service from the staff, especially the owner who was very entertaining. As the place started to fill up, we decided to move on to my boss's favorite snack bar. Nakasu is such an interesting place. Next time, I will visit Bar Voo with my friends.

Freshly squeezed juice cocktails are delicious. The Salty Dog made with yuzu was fantastic. The Moscow Mule, made with Smirnoff vodka infused with original syrup and ginger, and two types of ginger ale, was a unique and very tasty drink. While I was expecting Spanish cuisine, it was not Spanish. The original tacos and smoked duck were delicious.
