There are many wonderful shops around Fukushima Station. It was a little walk from the station, but it was easy to find. I had heard that the seafood at this restaurant was delicious, so I was looking forward to it. The sashimi was delicious. Many people were ordering sea bream rice, so I could tell it was a popular menu item. As expected, everything was delicious, and I ended up drinking a little too much. As a big fan of oden, I particularly enjoyed the oden here. The konjac had a really nice flavor. I ate a lot, drank a lot, and had a great time. Thank you for the meal.

A bit pricey but healthy lunch. Homemade tofu with salt! Feel the sweetness. I chose the flounder simmered set meal, the cooking is skillful. The slightly firm rice goes well with red miso soup. It's good, but I actually prefer a stronger taste. The amount of rice is body-friendly, around 80% full. This restaurant has its pros and cons! However, I like a place that serves delicious simmered fish. Grateful to the chef.

I was surprised by how delicious every dish was. The presentation was beautiful and the portion size was just right. The whole squid in particular was incredibly tasty! It was by far the best squid I've ever had. The staff were friendly and lovely. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Located right near the Symphony Hall, we went to have lunch at Uotoba Shunkashuutou. Today, I had the Shunkashuutou set meal which includes a sashimi assortment and a choice of grilled fish and simmered fish (today's options were grilled salmon and Okhotsk atka mackerel for the grilled fish, and yellowtail daikon stew for the simmered fish). For some reason, I was influenced by the customer next to me and chose the salmon. The meal also included homemade chilled tofu, rice, pickles, and miso soup. You can have seconds of rice and miso soup. My companion had the seafood bowl. The Shunkashuutou set meal was quite satisfying, especially for seafood lovers like myself. The sashimi and grilled fish were delicious, and eating them with rice and miso soup made for a very satisfying meal for both the mouth, stomach, and time spent.

Fukushima Fish Market - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. This is the shop nearest to my home. It was full when I arrived, but I was seated after 7 minutes. I ordered a seafood bowl with low fat seafood and lots of carbohydrates in white rice. It was ready in 11 minutes. The seafood bowl (1,100 yen) came with tofu, which was delicious on its own. The staff recommended it and the taste lived up to expectations. Sprinkling salt on it really brings out the sweetness! It's delicious! Even just coming for the tofu alone is worth it. The seafood bowl contained tuna, medium fatty tuna, salmon, squid, etc. The salmon was a bit fatty but still relatively healthy. I also had red miso soup and pickles, so the balance was perfect.

I came here because I wanted to eat fish dishes. I'm in the mood for salmon. The rice is also delicious, and I feel like I'll always end up stopping by here. The tofu is homemade and has a sweet, rich flavor. It's delicious even when eaten as is. Next time, I think I'll try it as a simmered dish. It's a great restaurant where you can try different patterns every time.

Spring, summer, autumn, winter set meal for 900 yen where you can choose between grilled fish and simmered dish. Comes with sashimi, homemade tofu, miso soup, and pickles, which is very affordable! I chose the grilled fish and had the Saikyo grilled mackerel. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating, and the homemade tofu had a sweetness to it that was also tasty! It's also good when you sprinkle salt on it. In the evening, being a seafood izakaya, the sashimi was fresh and delicious. Great cost performance and highly recommended!

I came to an izakaya in a building next to Symphony Hall where you can enjoy fish dishes. It's located next to Napoli Pizzaria Papocchio. I'm having shochu mixed with hot water. The otoshi (appetizer) includes three types of dishes, with the one in the middle being lily root. The plate of sashimi assortment with 10 varieties is a long plate that is difficult to fit in a photo. It's convenient to have a variety of dishes in one plate. From right to left, there is flounder marinated in kelp, squid, halibut, and sazae liver salad. The aged flounder marinated in kelp has a lot of inosinic acid and tastes delicious. In the middle, there is sea bream, striped jack, and tuna. On the left, there is blowfish, octopus, and pickled mackerel. The pickled mackerel was just right for my taste. The Sel kaki oysters from Senpoushi, Hokkaido, are impressively large. Squeeze some lemon on them and enjoy the rich and creamy taste. The sweet sea bream tempura is also delicious. The sharp scales that look like pine cones are exceptionally tasty. It was great to be able to enjoy a variety of fish. 2-1-1 Oyodonaka, Kita-ku, Osaka City

There was a restaurant in Fukushima with a similar name to "Fish Market" that seems to have relocated. It is located right next to the Symphony Hall. Although it is close to Fukushima, the address belongs to Osaka, so the restaurant had shortened hours until 9:00 PM. I had some delicious snow crab boiled in seawater. Mixing the internal and external organs of the crab together makes for an amazing dish. The sashimi assortment was priced at 800 yen per person with 8 varieties. The cost-performance ratio was so good that I was worried if they were calculating their costs properly. The grilled saury was particularly delicious. When I asked for a recommended sake served hot, I was served Kuzuryu, a high-quality sake from Fukui. It maintains a delicate and refined sake quality while providing a perfect warmth when served hot. I recommend avoiding microwaving it as it may cause temperature inconsistencies. I had the first cup at lukewarm and the second cup at a slightly warmer temperature. The fried oysters, conger eel tempura, and scallop tempura were all meticulously prepared and delicious. The head chef carefully prepared the dishes while keeping an eye on the pace of the meal. Such dedication is evident in the dishes. It's been a while since I found such a great restaurant.

At night, it's a popular izakaya, and at lunchtime, it's a bustling restaurant serving delicious and hearty fish lunch sets at "Uobaba Shunkashuutou"! Located about a 10-minute walk north from JR Osaka Loop Line Fukushima Station, the restaurant is on the first floor of a building right by the Fukushima 6-chome Kita intersection on Naniwa-suji. The interior is clean and has a warm wooden atmosphere with chic lighting creating a calm space. There are counter seats where you can enjoy your meal while watching the chefs cook and chat with the staff, as well as table seats for groups to enjoy together.

A bowl that can be eaten quickly and is perfect for lunch. The bowl is like a beautiful jewelry box filled with fresh seafood. The popular seafood bowl includes thickly sliced salmon, tuna, bonito, and sea urchin, offering a variety of textures from different seafood. The types of seafood may vary depending on the day, but the combination of various seafood flavors in this exquisite bowl is a delight. Plus, you get extra rice for free, unlimited miso soup refills, and homemade chilled tofu, making it a great value meal.

The salted mackerel with its fluffy texture and high-quality fat is irresistible! The rice here is also delicious. The flavorful rice and the delicious dashi from the fish bones in the miso soup make the free refills even more enjoyable. This set meal also includes fresh and thick sashimi. With a focus on the main fish dish as well as the rice, miso soup, and homemade chilled tofu, this fish lunch set will keep you going strong in the afternoon. It's also reasonably priced, supporting the lunch crowd in Fukushima! As it's a popular spot for nearby office workers during lunchtime, it's recommended to visit a bit earlier. Thank you for the delicious meal!

At the intersection of Fukushima 6-chome, there was a board menu advertising a healthy set meal. Intrigued, I headed north to check it out. As I approached the restaurant on the east side, a customer came out with a satisfied smile, exclaiming how delicious the food was. The board menu listed a set meal with sashimi, grilled fish, and simmered dishes. I decided to visit this place first and entered to find it almost full with customers. This must mean the food is good! I ordered the Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter set meal with grilled swordfish, while my colleague opted for the small side dish set. Since the grilled fish would take some time, my colleague's set arrived first, featuring grilled beef harami. It looked delicious. As I waited, my set meal was served with sashimi including salmon, tuna, sea bream, scallops, and another type of fish. The fish slices were small but fresh. A side of homemade tofu was also included, with the advice to eat it with salt. I followed the advice and enjoyed the dish with salt. The swordfish at this time of year was sure to be good quality. The rice was also of good quality, and I ended up asking for a half portion more, which turned out to be more like two-thirds of a bowl. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied after a delicious Japanese set meal experience.

I visited at 11:30 on a regular day. I was the first customer. I had a seafood bowl. The variety of seafood was plentiful and satisfying, but I felt like the amount of rice was a bit small. The sauce was rich when poured over it. Personally, I thought it would be fine if it wasn't that rich. The tofu side dish was delicious when sprinkled with salt. Next time, I would like to try the daily set meal.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I made a weekend reservation and visited a restaurant near Fukushima Station. The interior was not too spacious, with tables separated by partitions. There was one group table and several tables on the floor, as well as counter seats. The menu had a variety of dishes, including seasonal specials. With a group of four, we tried various dishes such as appetizers, assorted sashimi, cream croquettes, grilled saury, grilled yellowtail collar, and shirasu (whitebait) fried rice. The assorted sashimi had 11 different types, which was delightful. The cream croquette recommended by my friend had a strong seafood flavor. We enjoyed beer (Premium Malts) and tried various types of sake, served in cute glass containers. Despite eating and drinking a lot, the total bill came to around 7000 yen per person. It was a satisfying experience. Thank you for the feast!

We enjoyed everything deliciously. We went as a family and everyone was very satisfied. It's perfect before a concert at Symphony Hall. Even without a concert, it's a restaurant where you can relax. The sashimi was as good as the reviews say, and the octopus rice was delicious, with tender octopus. The fried tuna collar and fig tempura were also delicious.

Homemade tofu and simmered whole squid. I was happy to eat it because I hadn't had it in a while. The sweet and savory taste was perfect as a side dish that goes well with white rice.
