The concept of the story is that housewives in the Boston area of the East Coast of America treat their children and friends, and everyone knows that "Royal" does it. Therefore, in addition to muffins, there are also many famous sweet potatoes. When entering from Tenjin underground shopping area to IMS, I always thought it looked delicious, but I never bought it once before IMS closed down. At the time of the closure, they said they hadn't decided on a location yet, but they would revive somewhere. And indeed, it reopened at a very good location in Maing at Hakata Station. Originally, there was a cafe at the location, so the position of the cash register and tables hasn't changed much, but it has become a very glamorous and stylish store. The showcase is lined with many types of muffins, making it difficult to choose. - Cranberry Muffin (160 yen + 10% eat-in, 8% take-out) There are many regular-sized muffins, but this one is mini-sized. The cranberry sauce on top is bright and beautiful. The sauce is quite acidic and has an adult taste. The muffin itself is not very sweet, so you can eat it without feeling too sweet even with chocolate. The dough is moist and delicious. - Blend Coffee (350 yen + 10% eat-in, 8% take-out) They said, "We'll need about 5 minutes," so maybe they grind the beans for you? I couldn't see it because I paid and waited at the table, but the aroma was good and the aftertaste was refreshing, making it a very delicious black coffee. At the entrance of Maing, there are popular shops representing Fukuoka such as "Uchi no Tamago" and "Akai Fūsen." Although Royal is famous, it is not widely known nationally that it originated in Fukuoka, so if it can become established as a Fukuoka souvenir that can be taken home at room temperature, it would be great. The staff is friendly and the service is good, so I recommend this shop. However, I went early in the morning and was able to buy it right away, but there was a line, so depending on the time, it may get crowded.
