Yesterday, after finishing work, I hurried to catch the return bus and then transferred to the JR train to arrive at Osaka Station *\(^o^)/* Some might think it's easy to come to Osaka, but it actually took me over 3 hours one way. I am nothing but a fan of Osaka LOVE (*≧∀≦*) Now, last time I started from Kyobashi, but when it comes to Osaka, it's all about the station building, right? Even though there are so many shops gathered in that building, unfortunately, I only visited one last time. This time, I'm going full throttle from the beginning. So, the famous reviewer recommended a shop in Kita-Shinchi last time, and it seems like they also have a branch in this station building, so I decided to start there (=^▽^)σ The first stop was here, Kaiteika 2nd Branch. Even though it's the 2nd branch, it's not related to the other 2nd branch over there, right? (laughs) When I arrived, there was no one to greet me, and it seems like the shop is run by a male manager alone. There were reserved seats near the entrance, but is it okay for one person? I was told it's fine and was shown to a table. First, I ordered a draft beer (^o^)/... but they only have Premium Malt's, so no refills... Now, for the appetizers... Assorted sashimi (5 types) and whale tempura. It took a while for the food to be served since it's a one-man operation. The lineup of sashimi was... Spanish mackerel, flounder, yellowtail, red snapper, and flatfish. The price for the 5 types was 890 yen, which is cheap, but the overall impression of the sashimi was not great. The sashimi reviewer was not satisfied. Also, the whale tempura is a menu item I tend to order when I see it at a restaurant, but the seasoning was too strong and not to my liking. Tempura should be simple with just salt and pepper. The only delicious thing was the appetizer, right? (laughs) The manager seemed tired from handling everything alone, and there was a lack of energy... Hmm, there are many other great restaurants in the station building, so I won't visit this one again... At the seafood izakaya on the B1 floor of Osaka Building 3, there are many different types of affordable dishes available. This restaurant offers reasonably priced seafood options. You can also enjoy unique fruit highballs and chu-hi drinks. Smoking is allowed. They also serve charcoal-grilled skewers. It's a very nice place to eat. I only managed to take this photo, but the meal was delicious. Thank you.

Visited as the last stop for a drinking party on 11/2 (Mon). Located in Osaka Station Front Building 3 B1F, Kita-ku, Osaka. Entered at 9:30 pm. Ordered the following items: - Bottled beer: 590 yen - Smashed cucumber: 280 yen - Tsuji's potato salad: 480 yen - Pizza as a side dish for drinks: 780 yen - Complimentary appetizer of "Salmon and white fish namero" unexpectedly served. It was surprisingly delicious when rolled in seaweed. The pizza was topped with fish miso, cream cheese, shiso, and seafood. There was also uni on top! However, it wasn't to my personal taste. The potato salad was a hit. The crispy fried potatoes were perfect. It had a slight acidity, maybe from ketchup. The interior of the restaurant was a Japanese-style izakaya. The subdued lighting created a calm, adult atmosphere. The seating consisted mainly of 4-person and 2-person tables. There was one female staff member in the hall who provided friendly and attentive service. Overall, the service was good. Smoking policy was not confirmed.

I had been curious about this place for a while and made a reservation online. There were many dishes to cook on the charcoal grill, which was fun to time. I forgot to take pictures, but the seafood dishes were all delicious! Since there are no photos on the menu, I recommend checking it outside before entering. When I went inside, it felt like it was a takeover from a previous business. The sofas had visible wear and tear underneath the covers. Also, during busy times, with only one person in the kitchen and one on the floor, the drink service took quite a while. I haven't been to the main branch, so I can't compare, but I think I'm okay with not coming back here. However, the food was delicious.

There were no standout appetizers, similar to pickled vegetables, and the prices were a bit higher compared to others. The happy hour deals were slightly better, but I don't plan on revisiting.

I met up with colleagues for a light treat after work. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but it seemed like they had many reservations. They offer a variety of charcoal-grilled dishes, but we didn't try them this time because it was hot. The namero (raw fish marinated in soy sauce and vinegar) served as an appetizer was delicious with just the right amount of salt. They also offer a drink-all-you-can option at a reasonable price, which is great. The overall food was tasty and reasonably priced, but it was a bit challenging to stay longer due to the weekend rush.
