I came to this restaurant for the first time in a long time. My last visit was 8 years ago. I made a reservation before visiting. It seemed to be full even on this day, so it might be better to make a reservation. I started with a draft beer toast (^∀^) The draft beer here is carefully selected. Let's also order some food from the skillfully written menu. - Sashimi assortment (2,800 yen) - Winter melon and conger eel with sauce (1,850 yen) - Grilled eel and green onion roll (1,000 yen) - Simmered sardines with plum (850 yen) The sashimi includes tuna, squid, sea bream, horse mackerel, and more. The horse mackerel was particularly delicious with its thick meat (^∀^) The conger eel was the first of this summer. The sauce has a gentle flavor of dashi that works well. The conger eel is also fluffy♪ The winter melon is soft and tender when you put your chopsticks in it. After finishing the beer, I switched to sake. I'll have a glass of Nabeshima. It's the summer moon. It had a nice acidity and a refreshing aftertaste. After Nabeshima, I had Fushimi sake, Aosora. I added a little more food as well. - Lotus root and shrimp stuffed deep-fried (850 yen) - Cream cheese marinated in sake lees (700 yen) The stuffed deep-fried dish has a firm texture with shrimp filling! The cream cheese goes well with sake, making Aosora even more enjoyable (^∀^) It was a satisfying dinner with delicious food and sake. Thank you for the meal.

I found a long-awaited hit izakaya! And it turns out it's a Michelin-starred restaurant, so I was not surprised! You can order a la carte, the food is high quality, the variety of sake is good, and the atmosphere is nice. What I had this time was: - The appetizer was just right in seasoning - The assorted sashimi was fresh and delicious - The shrimp salad was the best I've ever had, with boiled shrimp, cucumber, tomato, and tartar sauce - The potato salad was also incredibly delicious! I love it! I want to eat it every day! - The grilled eggplant in broth was so good - The salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch was definitely delicious - Even the fruit was of high quality! I mentioned that I like Japanese sake to the landlady, and she told me that they have Juyondai today even though it's not on the menu, so I immediately ordered it. If you like Japanese sake, be sure to ask about it. I want to try all the menu items! I will definitely come back! #Tsuneo's recommended gourmet is amazing ♡

I went to this upscale izakaya in Kitashinchi. When I made a reservation, they asked if I would like to order a sashimi platter to be served right away. Since my impatient father was with me that day, they brought out the sashimi platter at the same time as the drinks, which was great! The cream cheese marinated in sake lees, conger eel and green onion tempura, grilled gizzard shad, and lotus root stuffed with shrimp were all delicious! The sea urchin and minced tuna with green onion came with small sheets of seaweed and vinegared rice, allowing us to make our own small hand rolls. It was truly luxurious and elegant. Everything was delicate and refined in flavor, truly living up to the reputation of Kitashinchi. The prices are high, but considering the location and taste, it's totally worth it! It feels more like a traditional Japanese restaurant than an izakaya.

Finally, I visited Binbiya for the first time! Since it was my first visit, I ordered the chef's choice course. Although they didn't have a drink-all-you-can option, as a highball lover, I wish they had more variety. Other than that, the course dishes were fantastic. The surprise appearance of conger eel and matsutake mushroom soup was delicious. The simmered vegetables were also amazing. The fried tuna was soft and nice. The grilled mackerel was tasty. And to finish off, the unexpected soba noodles were excellent. Reservations are a must, but I definitely want to visit their regular store in Kitashinchi.

About a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station, right in the middle of the station's underground passageway, head south towards Shinmachi and take the escalator up, then go east on the second street in front of an okonomiyaki restaurant. Today, three of us visited for the first time with my colleagues. The staff's quick response and sake pouring skills are professional. They have a great sense of humor typical of Osaka. The food tastes amazing, showcasing the chef's skills. They also have a variety of sake options. The prices are a bit high, as expected in Shinmachi, but still quite reasonable for the area.

Located on the east side of Kitashinchi, this restaurant offers high-quality dishes, including fresh fish, that can be ordered a la carte. The elaborate dishes are all exquisite and go well with drinks. Despite being in Kitashinchi, the prices are reasonable, so I would like to visit again.

I visited the restaurant with a Japanese guest living overseas. The interior had elegant Japanese-style counters and several semi-private rooms. The service was polite, and all the dishes we ordered were fresh and carefully prepared. We left the restaurant feeling happy.

Located in Osaka, in Kita-Shinchi, this restaurant caught my attention for a while. It was my first visit, and I was impressed by the long, spacious interior with both table and counter seating. I decided to order a variety of dishes from the menu, and each one was excellent. The female staff provided attentive service, even discreetly offering a wet towel when my companion accidentally spilled something on their clothes. The restroom was also well-maintained. It's definitely a top-notch restaurant in Kita-Shinchi. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I will definitely come back again.

The middle-aged men from Kitashinchi highly recommend this place. It's a popular and well-known restaurant called Binbiya. We had a semi-private room with just a curtain separating us from the next table, so we had to be careful with our conversations. We started with a toast with Asahi beer and ordered a sashimi platter to share. Then we ordered various dishes a la carte, all of which were delicious. We also enjoyed ordering different types of sake. The staff were friendly and made sure we had a great time. This place goes beyond your typical izakaya and is a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks. Definitely a top-notch recommendation from everyone. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I selected a restaurant from the top 100 of Tabelog ♡ Actually, I was planning to go there at the end of last year, but it was fully booked and I couldn't make a reservation. I thought, "Oh... this place must be really nice." So, I tried again for a reservation and successfully secured a seat ( *˙ω˙*)و グッ! I was excited and went ⊂('ω'⊂ )))Σ≡GO!! It didn't disappoint my expectations ( * ॑꒳ ॑*) The timing of my visit was perfect, and the spring vegetables and seasonal fish were delicious (ृ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ृ ) I ended up ordering a second serving of taranome tempura and was surprised by the huge size of the shrimp salad I ordered last. I was really surprised (´^ω^`)ブフォwww The staff talked to me and made me laugh with each dish they served. I visited Kitashinchi Binbiya for the first time. I had a course meal where I left the dishes up to the chef, and everything was delicious. In particular, the miso stewed oysters were a recommended dish. They have a wide selection of sake, making it a place where you can't help but enjoy drinking. I would like to visit again.

It was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was taken there by a supplier. We had a course menu until a certain point, and then we ordered a la carte. In Tokushima dialect, "binbi" apparently means fish, and the chef is from Tokushima, so he named the restaurant after that. The sashimi was delicious as the name suggests! The creamy cod roe and egg dish had a gentle yet rich flavor. We also had simmered taro, salt-grilled mackerel, fugu, and oysters grilled in magnolia leaves, followed by Tokushima somen noodles as the finishing touch. From the a la carte menu, we tried rapeseed blossoms, karasumi (bottarga), and grilled cod roe with soy sauce. Everything was incredibly delicious! They had a variety of sake, mainly dry ones, which we enjoyed with the food. Despite being in the casual atmosphere of Kita-shinchi, the prices were reasonable for such delicious food. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the feast!

I was searching for a Japanese restaurant in Kitashinchi and found this one that looked very delicious, so I made a reservation. It's becoming more common for me to not finish course meals, so being able to order a la carte was appealing! The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was calm, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation slowly.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday with a same-day reservation. They were fully booked early on, but they said they would call me when a spot opened up. Unfortunately, they were sold out of shirako, which was the reason I came... I tried Hyougo Ikken and Kikuhime. I really liked Hyougo Ikken, it had a slight fizziness that I enjoyed. Kikuhime was quite smooth and creamy. For appetizers, they served whale sashimi, tofu, and rock seaweed. Since it was my second stop, I ordered fewer dishes. The pickled plum sardines were delicious, I would love to have them for breakfast! The plum was not too salty, which was great. And for some reason, I also ordered fried food - ham cutlet and oyster fry. I'll make a reservation for the first seating next time to try the shirako again.

Today, I visited "Binbiya" in Sonezaki Shinchi. It's only a 4-minute walk from Oe Bridge Station. After visiting "Binbiya" in Naruto, tonight I visited "Binbiya" in Osaka. The restaurant was bustling with customers. I ordered the "Sashimi Assortment (small) @1800," "Simmered Sardines @850," and "Oyster Fry @1300." First, I started with the appetizers: Saba Sushi, Zaru Tofu, and Iwakai Vinegar. The sashimi assortment included sea bream (from Akashi), tuna (from Hokkaido), striped jack (from Ehime), and octopus (from Akashi), all of high quality. The simmered sardines were plump and flavorful, with the pickled plum absorbing the delicious broth. The oyster fry, though small in size, was delicious with tartar sauce and mustard & sauce. I enjoyed everything and look forward to my next visit.

Visited on a weekend night. Managed to make a reservation at the beginning of the week. It's a bit pricey for an izakaya, but it's relatively affordable for Kita-Shinchi. The food was well-prepared with good ingredients and seasoning. The table seats are semi-private, so you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a casual place to enjoy in Kita-Shinchi. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

【Station】5 minutes walk from Kitashinchi Station【Seating】Counter, table seats (semi-private rooms) available【Infection prevention measures】Alcohol available【Visit time】Around 18:30 on weekdays【Crowded situation】Full house. We made a reservation.【Food】Assorted sashimi, simmered beef tendons in miso, simmered sardines with plum, potato salad, appetizer, sake (Onna-nakase, Etsugaisen, Daina, Yamagata Masamune, Kikuhime)【Price】Around 8000 yen【Personal impression】Those without reservations were turned away. It's quite popular! The appetizers were delicious, including pickled vegetables, spinach with white sesame dressing, and mozuku seaweed. When looking at the menu, there were so many things I wanted to try! As I was contemplating, the waitress suggested, "Shall I start with the sashimi?" I was fine with either option, so I decided to go with that and think about the rest later. This time, I went with a senior colleague from work who mentioned wanting to eat meat, so as I was looking at the menu, once again the waitress said, "I highly recommend the simmered sardines with plum. It's a popular dish here." She was quite good at recommending dishes. The sardines were tender and delicious, but I was hoping to try something I don't usually eat... I also ordered the simmered beef tendons in miso, but since it was quite filling, I ended with a small portion of potato salad. Overall, the food was delicious, but it was a bit difficult to order at our own pace, which was a bit disappointing for both of us. We ended up talking about where to go next... Thank you for the meal.

A one Michelin-starred izakaya in Kita-Shinchi. Located in Osaka, it is not overly formal or super high-end, making it an easy and welcoming place to visit. However, the food is exceptional! The simmered eggplant is incredibly tender and flavorful, the best I've ever had! Overall, a very satisfying dining experience! - Budget: 6,000-8,000 yen - Address: 1-7-26 Sonezaki Shinchi, Kita-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture - Phone: 06-6345-3155 - Hours: 17:30-1:30 (Closed on Sundays and holidays) - Private rooms available - Non-smoking establishment For more gourmet posts in this area, click here: #77Kita-Shinchi I post almost every day about restaurants across Japan that are great for dates, business meetings, or meals while traveling! I made a reservation for 6:00 pm on a weekday. By 7:00 pm, the restaurant was fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. I opted for the chef's choice course, and each dish was served in order. Everything was delicious, but the matsutake mushroom and conger eel soup was especially good. The chef selects a different sake each month, and this month's recommendation was Rairaku. The meal included: - Appetizers (Nanbanzuke, Yuba, Kikuna) - Sashimi (Tuna, Tai from Akashi, Kampachi) - Soup (Matsutake mushroom, Conger eel) - Simmered dish (Conger eel, Pumpkin, Small taro) - Grilled dish (Barracuda) - Simmered dish (Sardines simmered in plum sauce) - Fried dish (Mackerel) - Handmade noodles - Dessert (Persimmon, Pear) The sake selection included: - Rairaku (Akashi) - Kikuhime cloudy sake (Ishikawa) - Otokoyama (Shimane) I was satisfied with the meal. Thank you very much! 🎵🎵

It was a regular Monday, but by 7 pm, the restaurant was almost full, which was surprising. Fortunately, we were able to secure seats at the last minute with a same-day reservation. We ordered a sashimi platter (pictured is for 3 people), uni (sea urchin) which was not listed on the menu, grilled salted blackthroat seaperch, eel and eggplant tempura, conger eel noodles, and octopus with miso vinegar. Each dish was outstanding with great texture and mouthfeel. The uni was particularly satisfying with a firm texture and large size. For reference, we had 5 drinks for 3 people and the total bill came to a little over 25,000 yen.

I saw on Tabelog that it was difficult to make a reservation, so I called the day before and was able to secure one! I'm so glad~! Everything was delicious♪ On this day, I had the appetizer (edamame, tofu, and something else), assorted sashimi, fried small potatoes, salad with mitsuba and fried food, salt-grilled mackerel, potato salad croquette, and more. The sashimi included sea bream, tuna, swordtip squid, octopus, conger eel, and horse mackerel. I love fish but I'm also very sensitive to any fishy smell. The fish at this restaurant had no smell at all!! The presentation was beautiful, and the fish was fresh and delicious!! The salt-grilled mackerel was so tender, it was amazing! I was surprised to find tuna and horse mackerel or some other fish in the salad too!! It's no wonder it's a fishmonger's salad haha There was also fish in the croquette haha My favorite was the fried small potatoes, with a strong dashi flavor, elegant coating, it was the best!! The upscale atmosphere unique to Shinchi was also great♪ I definitely want to come back again. I can confidently recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the meal♪
