Daiki Suisan Rotating Sushi Yawata Store. I visited this restaurant after a few years. Compared to Sushi○, Kaiten Sushi, and Kura Sushi, the prices here are a bit higher, but the quality of the ingredients is better. I didn't feel full at all and ended up eating only about 5 plates. When I was in my teens, I once ate 40 plates at a rotating sushi restaurant. Hmm? Just a little bragging.

I visited after many years. I came with a toddler, so they had child seats available and provided good service. The promotion was eel, so I ordered a large piece of eel. It was about a plateful of toppings. I didn't have to drive today, so I ordered a bottled beer. Along with that, I also ordered fried potatoes, tempura, and octopus tempura. I also had some yellowtail in between, but if I only showed pictures, it wouldn't look like a sushi restaurant. I enjoyed watching the tuna being prepared on the side.

Visited at 2:00 PM on a Sunday, no waiting time. A la carte menu. I was originally planning to have lunch in the direction of Kintetsu Yao Station, but the traffic was so bad that I was afraid of becoming a lunch refugee. I visited this restaurant instead. It was a random time, so I was able to enter without waiting and was seated right away. The variety of natural fish was limited, but the sushi was delicious with large cuts of fish. Meshiuma's Delicious Meal (9th Dish in 2022) I was craving sushi so badly that I couldn't resist and headed to Daiki Suisan in Yao. Usually, there are many cheap conveyor belt sushi restaurants, so I decided to indulge a bit. As expected, the quality is different from the hundred-yen sushi, but at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a slight frozen taste. It's a bit disappointing. I can accept it when it's a hundred yen. I also enjoyed some beer to make it a luxurious evening.

I felt like eating seafood, so I went to Daiki Suisan for the first time in a while. I also like the 100 yen conveyor belt sushi, but if I want to treat myself a bit, I come here. The quality of the fish is just different! Everything I eat is delicious! It's totally my personal preference, but my favorites are the medium fatty bluefin tuna, eel, marbled tuna, and spear squid. The fatty tuna belly that melts in your mouth is also amazing... even though I didn't have it this time. I also like clam soup, but the red miso soup is also good. I noticed that when I sat at a table before, there was a touch panel which was convenient, but this time at the counter, we had to write our orders on paper. It was a bit of a hassle, but the food is just too good, so I will definitely go back!

Recently, my father has been enjoying conveyor belt sushi, so we went to a local restaurant, Daiki Suisan, after a long time. I must say, I prefer it over the big three sushi chains. When we placed our order, they handed us the plates directly, and since it's an open kitchen, you can see the chefs at work, which gives a sense of reassurance. However, I can't help but notice the difference in sushi craftsmanship and taste compared to sushi restaurants where they make it right in front of you. I prefer simple flavors, so I am satisfied with just tuna, yellowtail, eel, and conger eel. The three types of sake tasting set is reasonably priced, and as long as it's delicious, I am content with a small amount. That's why I rate it on the lower side. Thank you for the meal.

I finished work early on Friday, so I took my elderly mother to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It was after the rain, so even though it was past 5 pm, there were still few customers and the sushi plates weren't circulating on the belt yet. It seemed like they were making the sushi to order. I ordered various items on the touch panel, but they brought them out too quickly... I wish they would wait a bit before bringing them out, as it felt like they were rushing to serve us. The sushi was fresh and the pieces were large, so my mother was delighted and happily ate away. She even devoured three plates of eel by herself (laughs).

It's been a while since I had dinner with my grandparents! We went shopping and got back late, so the restaurant was not crowded. That was good! There is usually a wait time... We had lemon chu-hi, seaweed soup, seared scallops, shrimp mayo, avocado tuna, and onion rings with photos. I forgot to take photos of the tuna nuggets, french fries, and octopus nuggets - sorry about that. The avocado tuna had a lot of onions, but I would prefer a bit less. The taste of everything was delicious.

Lunchtime! Although I occasionally come for dinner, this is my first time having lunch here. I ordered the Mega Special Seafood Bowl for 1480 yen. From the photo, it looked like a substantial portion! It includes premium tuna, lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna, giving it a luxurious image. However, in reality, there was quite a difference in volume compared to the photo. It was a bit disappointing. I even had to confirm with the staff if it was just a regular seafood bowl. Since it's a flagship item that emphasizes quantity, I wished it had the voluminous look from the photo. The taste was fresh and delicious. The rice wasn't exactly "mega" but it was filling enough! I went for lunch and had the assorted sushi set. It arrived surprisingly quickly. The sushi, chawanmushi, and miso soup with clams were all delicious. The salad had sesame oil on it and I was told to sprinkle some salt on top. It was refreshing and tasty, but I only added a little salt so the flavor was a bit light. I was just full enough after finishing. The price was 1090 yen plus tax, which I thought was cheap. Unlike places where each plate is 100 yen, this was a good deal.

I used the dinner service. The sushi is the same as other conveyor belt sushi restaurants, but the prices are higher. If you're going to spend this much, you might as well go to a non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant where you can expect better quality sushi. The taste was very ordinary, neither bad nor good. Unlike other conveyor belt sushi restaurants, there are various encounters at Daiki Suisan that I like. However, I always end up eating the "Extra Large Simmered Anago," "Fatty Salmon," "Toro," and "Large Eel" every time I visit, without trying anything new. These items would be incredibly expensive at a high-end sushi restaurant, but at Daiki Suisan, you can enjoy them for around 500 yen each. The freshness is excellent, and I always make sure to order the freshest ones even at a revolving sushi restaurant. The "Extra Large Simmered Anago" in particular is delicious with its high-quality fat. I indulge in "Eel, Toro, Simmered Anago, Fatty Salmon" until I feel sick, and then happily leave with a stomach ache every time. Sushiro, which focuses on desserts, and Kura Sushi, which has started to dabble in Western cuisine, both have their own unique features and are wonderful. However, Daiki Suisan stands out as a fantastic sushi restaurant in Naniwa, with a wide variety of delicious sushi options.

It's a disappointing story that pitcher Shun Yamaguchi was scheduled to start but had to skip his turn. Despite inaccurate information, he injured his right hand while drunk and caused damage at a hospital in Tokyo, including breaking a door and injuring a male security guard. The Giants should not only be gentlemen but also lack the qualities of an athlete when spending too much time drinking. Now, let's head to 1-1 Shonai-cho, Yao City today. Initially, I noticed "Washoku Sato" but then saw "Daiki Suisan" sushi restaurant offering a lunch menu. Let's give it a try. The Nigiri Set Meal (853 yen) includes 7 pieces of sushi, seafood salad, chawanmushi, and miso soup (you can choose from red miso soup, clam miso soup, or seaweed miso soup - I chose seaweed miso soup). The hot seaweed miso soup, flavorful chawanmushi, crispy cold seafood salad, and freshly made sushi were all delightful. The octopus sushi, in particular, was memorable with its firm texture. Just the right amount for a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast. As expected, when you pick plates from the conveyor belt, you might end up eating too much or the bill getting high, so it's reassuring to have set menus. Let's strive on the path to improvement, enjoy in moderation, and have no regrets in the end.

I went to my favorite restaurant, Daiki Suisan, on a weekday because they started offering lunch sets. I ordered the Nigiri set for 790 yen (excluding tax), which comes with 7 pieces of sushi, red miso soup, chawanmushi, and salad. The sushi had small rice portions, making the fish pieces look bigger. The chawanmushi had seafood in it and was delicious. The red miso soup was average, and the salad had slices of sashimi, almost like a carpaccio, which was tasty. However, it wasn't enough for us, so we ended up ordering grilled salmon and scallops as well. It was all so delicious, but with the additional orders, we ended up spending over 1,000 yen each. It might be just right for older people or those with smaller appetites. Overall, it was a good meal.

I visited a sushi restaurant called Oki Suisan on my way to the hospital. It was my first time there. I ordered clam soup, fresh sea bream, squid legs, and fatty tuna. The sea bream was delicious and the fatty tuna was satisfying for 350 yen. I also tried the octopus tempura, large shrimp, seared squid legs, medium fatty tuna, and a sushi roll with dried squid. The sushi had just the right size of toppings and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!
