The opening time of the croissant shop "Mikazuki" at Hakata Hankyu on Ippin Street is 10:00, so I calculated the time and bought bread at Shiroya before purchasing souvenirs! They have natural yeast croissants at Mikazuki in Hakata Station's Ippin Street as well. They can last at room temperature until the day after tomorrow, and up to 4 weeks if frozen, which is convenient. The most popular flavors are plain, maple, and chocolate, but they also offer red bean, cocoa, cheese, black tea, sesame, cinnamon, mugwort, soybean flour, and apple, among others. The matcha flavor is limited to the summer season! They also have rusk, which seems like a good souvenir. I bought four types: plain, maple, cheese, and matcha. Although I bought them as souvenirs, I ended up eating them all myself. In my opinion, the cheese flavor was the best. They taste even better when warmed in a toaster oven for 1-2 minutes and then cooled for 3 minutes at room temperature. There is another croissant shop called il FORNO del MIGNON Miniyon at Hakata Station, but the line was so long that I decided to skip it. It seems like they specialize in mini croissants made with Crown brand bread from Hakata. I was surprised to find out that they also have a store in Ikebukuro! I would like to visit there soon. Mikazuki also has locations in Haruyoshi and Fukuoka Airport where you can dine in, so if you're interested in trying their croissants, you can visit those locations as well.

Hakata City's Ichibin Street, located next to the JR ticket gates on the first floor of Hakata Station, is home to about 20 shops specializing in deli foods and sweets. It's a great place to pick up lunch before work or dinner on the way home, with a variety of shops for everyday use. One shop that caught my eye with its stylishly packaged croissants was "Mikazukiya." This croissant specialty shop has around 10 locations in Fukuoka, including its main store in Kitakyushu. They offer croissants made with natural yeast in flavors such as plain, maple, cheese, and kinako, ranked by popularity. The croissants can be enjoyed for up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 4 weeks when frozen. I bought the maple and apple pie croissants this time. The packaging was stylish, and when I reheated and ate them the next morning, they were deliciously crispy. Even though I don't usually eat croissants, I really enjoyed these. They are also available at Fukuoka Airport, making them a great souvenir option. It was delicious - thank you for the meal! I found a croissant while walking along the Ichibun Street at Hakata Station. There were so many types to choose from, but after much deliberation, I ended up buying two. The plain croissant is said to be popular, but with so many options, I wanted to try something different. Each croissant is individually packaged, making it a great gift idea. The first one I tried was a mugwort croissant with red bean paste filling, which was a unique combination for a croissant. The second one was a cinnamon croissant, which was also a bit unexpected but tasted great. Both croissants paired well with coffee. Thank you for the delicious treats.

I bought these croissants for breakfast the morning after returning from a business trip to Hakata. They are made with natural yeast and come in several cream flavors, including plain, red bean, and matcha. When warmed up the next morning, the croissants had a crispy outer layer with a moderate amount of butter, and a soft, slightly voluminous inside. Personally, I prefer croissants with more butter, but these were still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My son brought back another croissant as a souvenir! This time, it's not just a regular croissant, but a chocolate croissant. It's a crispy pastry in the shape of a croissant with chocolate on top. It's flaky and crumbly, making it a bit messy to eat, but it's a delicious pastry. I didn't know there were these kinds of pastries available. However, I still think the classic croissant is the best and my favorite. Unfortunately, this time it was only the chocolate croissant, but next time, I hope they don't forget to bring back the ones with black tea, maple, sesame, and apple flavors.

A croissant specialty store in the Ichibangai street inside Hakata Station! It's fun to choose from a variety of individually wrapped croissants. I bought the popular No. 1 Plain, No. 2 Maple, and No. 3 Chocolate. They are all delicious with plenty of butter.

The next morning, I came to buy bread. I had given up the previous day because of the long line. Today, the line wasn't that long, so I visited "Mikazukiya Hakata Station Store". I got the following items for takeout: Red bean paste - 248 yen Black tea - 257 yen Plain croissant - 228 yen x2 ☆Plain croissant: Simple croissant flavor. What sets it apart is that it is quite hard. It's crispy!!! The butter flavor is good and it's just delicious. ☆Black tea: Not too strong, but has a nice black tea flavor. Maybe my favorite among the ones I bought this time. ☆Red bean paste: The crispy dough with sweet red bean paste and butter is delicious. A classic flavor that's not too sweet. Maple, cheese, and kinako flavors are also popular, so I'll try them next time I visit Hakata. Thank you for the meal.

At Fukuoka Airport, I finally tried the croissant from Mikazukiya that I had been curious about for a long time. I followed the instructions on the back to warm it up in the toaster, and it turned out to be surprisingly crispy, just like croissants from a bakery. I was impressed because I had thought it would be soft and squishy. The butter flavor is also strong and delicious. It's important to eat it quickly because it loses its crispiness over time.

The sandwiches at Mikazukiya are highly praised for having very few additives. They are also voluminous and delicious. Each type comes in two pieces (equivalent to two slices of bread, cut in half), so it's quite heavy to eat them all alone. I enjoyed trying one of each type while watching the planes from the outside deck at Fukuoka Airport, accompanied by a cold Super Dry beer. It was the perfect way to end my solo trip. However, I ate three slices of bread in total, so my stomach was quite full! It would be nice if they had an assortment with various types of sandwiches. Next time I visit Fukuoka, I will definitely stop by Mikazukiya again.

My partner occasionally buys them for me! It's always two croissants, one with red tea and one plain! I bought the red tea one too, but it was eaten right away yesterday haha. It seems like my favorite is the red tea croissant. I'm not that into croissants, but this time I bought the seasonal chestnut one! Had ramen for lunch and came back with sweets! Croissant? Pie? Are you a pie person? I can't decide! Even if I eat it occasionally, I don't understand the deliciousness of croissants! Especially this one is a bit pricey, it was over 800 yen for three croissants! Hmm... I don't get it! I'll probably visit again soon, that's just how I am haha. Thank you for the meal.

Located just outside the Shinkansen ticket gates at Hakata Station, there is a bakery along Hakata Ippin Street that comes highly recommended by Boru Juku's Tanabe-san. I purchased the Azuki Croissant for 268 yen including tax. It is filled with plenty of butter, giving it a crispy texture similar to an an butter sandwich. It comes in a beautiful bag, making it a great souvenir to bring back.

I visited Hakata Station because I heard they sell freshly baked croissants, even though frozen croissants are available nationwide. There were a variety of flavors to choose from, and I chose plain, cinnamon, and black tea. The black tea had a subtle aroma and was delicious.

One day, I became a fan of Mikazukiya after a friend introduced me to it. However, since I only visit Fukuoka once every few years, I can't remember where the shop is located... I searched around the station when I arrived in Hakata, but couldn't find the shop due to my poor sense of direction. The next day, while exploring the station to find something to eat on the limited express train to Saga, I finally found it! I chose the chocolate flavor. If it wasn't the last day, I would have bought more... I wish I could buy it at a department store event in Kansai. haha

On May 6th (Friday), I used the Fukuoka City Subway One-Day Pass (640 yen) to visit various shops in the city (details of the stations and route are shown in the illustration). I visited shop #6, "Mikazukiya," which is a croissant specialty shop located in a corner of Hakata Station. I decided to buy a plain croissant and a matcha croissant to enjoy later. The popular flavors seem to be plain, maple, and chocolate in that order. In the late night of May 6th, I enjoyed the plain croissant from "Mikazukiya" as a snack with my drink. The bag suggested warming it in the oven for 1-2 minutes and then letting it cool for 3 minutes at room temperature. The croissant had a buttery aroma and a nice crispy texture, making it a delightful treat. On May 7th (Saturday) during lunchtime, I had the croissants I bought the day before. I tried the matcha croissant from "Mikazukiya," which was a limited edition flavor. Just like with the plain croissant, I warmed it for 2 minutes and let it cool before enjoying. The matcha croissant had a lovely aroma of butter and a crispy texture, enhanced by the abundant use of matcha. It would be a perfect treat for matcha lovers, and you could even enjoy it with some red bean paste on the side.

I got really excited at a delicious croissant bakery in Fukuoka and bought a lot for breakfast. I haven't bought from there in a while, but I wonder if they raised their prices? Well, it can't be helped, but it's quite pricey. The taste is delicious, but the cost performance may not be great.

◉Genre: Croissant ◉Area: JR Hakata City, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City ◉Access: A short walk from JR Hakata Station ◉Parking: Not available (there is a partnership parking lot) ◉Credit card payment: Not available ◉Number of visits: First time ◉Number of reviews: 1 I decided to visit "Mikazukiya Hakata Station Store" on a whim on this day. ◇Exterior and Interior This croissant specialty store is located on Ippin Street in JR Hakata City, a large commercial facility directly connected to JR Hakata Station. It was born in Kitakyushu City and has several stores in the prefecture, but I wonder if it has expanded to other prefectures. ◇Seating Takeout only. ◇Menu Composition There are always more than 10 flavors available, including seasonal limited editions. The items I ordered are as follows: - Plain (228 yen) → Including tax. I purchased this for myself on this day. I have eaten it several times before, but in recent times, I have returned to the basics with the plain croissant. By following the usual steps, whether at room temperature or thawed from frozen, the outside is crispy and flaky, while the inside is moist and fluffy. The difference from other croissants is clear. Is this the magic of natural yeast... I am not sure as an amateur, but it is undeniably delicious. Personally, I might have a weakness for the butter, which could be the reason for my return to the basics. ◆Strong Points A delicious croissant that will be appreciated as a gift. ◆Customer Service Average. ◆Summary A day trip to Hakata. With almost no free time, I only visited this store. Ippin Street is convenient in such situations! Thank you for the meal! ^ ^

The natural yeast croissants in the shape of a crescent moon from Hakata are becoming a popular souvenir. They are sure to be appreciated as a gift. Personally, I recommend the plain, maple, kinako (roasted soybean flour), azuki bean, and cheese flavors. Among them, the kinako flavor is a must-try. I missed out on buying the raw pie croissant, but I definitely want to purchase it next time.

My son's house is near the Haruyoshi store, and it seems like he has been buying breakfast from there quite often since I introduced it. By chance, I found it at Hakata Station before boarding the Shinkansen! I've known that place from before Haruyoshi store was even there! ⭐️ Plain 204 yen Crispy crust with a soft inside, this croissant is delicious anytime ⭐️ Chocolate 228 yen A croissant wrapped in mildly sweet chocolate ⭐️ Black tea 238 yen Black tea-infused dough with a hint of tea aroma and a light black tea color, I love it ⭐️ Strawberry 273 yen This croissant was my first time trying and it had a rich strawberry flavor like strawberry chocolate ⭐️ Apple 228 yen A bit pricey but can be stored in the freezer for up to 4 weeks. Just heat it in the toaster for 1-2 minutes before eating. I always end up burning it, haha. It's a delicious croissant, definitely recommended as a souvenir from Hakata! I recommend it to my friends too.

Fukuoka souvenir and popular mail-order croissants from Mikazuki-ya. The most popular flavor is maple, and the favorite among women is kinako (soybean flour). They come in various types, such as ones with sweet bean paste or apple pie with fruit. They have a shelf life of 3 days at room temperature and are individually packaged, making them a great gift for someone you can see right away. They can also be frozen, so it's easy to end up buying a lot.

My mother used to buy crescent-shaped croissants regularly, and it had been many years since I last had one. I personally love the kinako (roasted soybean flour) flavor. I also tried the mugwort-flavored croissant, which I found to be quite unique. The size is perfect for breakfast. It still tastes as delicious as it did in the past!
