Before going to the movies, I felt like eating Korean food, so my family of two visited a restaurant. The restaurant was located in a building near the station, where the counter was visible from the outside. We decided to order the "Cold Noodle BBQ Set" and Kimbap with Cream Cheese and Tteokbokki. When the plates arrived, we were surprised! Wait, the menu didn't mention rice, so we ordered Kimbap, but it came with rice unexpectedly. We were a bit confused. It turns out you can choose between multigrain rice and Kimbap. What a mix-up! (laughs) We didn't ask properly! We didn't want to waste food, so we ate everything until the end... The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a straight counter. Although I wasn't familiar with Korean cuisine names in katakana, the photos gave me an idea of what to expect. I ordered the set menu with Korean cold noodles and grilled meat, which was the most expensive option on the menu (1,200 yen). The Korean cold noodles didn't have a strong beef bone soup flavor, but the noodles were similar to Korean cold noodles, thin and satisfying. The grilled meat wasn't the typical raw meat grilled at the table; it seemed to be precooked and seasoned before grilling. It offered a homely taste of Korean cuisine. Despite the similar name, it's unclear if this restaurant is related to Arirang. The variety in home-cooked Korean dishes may vary from one restaurant to another. Korean-style food stall Arirang Pocha in Osaka's Kita Ward, located in Osaka Station Front Building 2, is currently hosting a popular Ekiben (station bento) festival at the Hankyu Department Store. The reviewer has been visiting almost daily, trying different foods, but has mainly only purchased Sakaiyaki's "Kansai Shumai." Feeling a bit disappointed, they decided to try the Kakimeshi at the Nishieki Contact Office in Hokkaido's Akkeshi Station, only to find a huge line. Disappointed, they left and headed to Osaka Station Front Building. After carefully checking each restaurant, they noticed a Korean restaurant they hadn't visited before. They decided to try the Bulgogi Don, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise with a generous portion and delicious taste. The reviewer enjoyed the authentic Korean flavors and felt like they were transported back to their first trip to Korea. The restaurant had a brief peak in customers, but the reviewer was left alone to savor their meal, appreciating the experience at the good restaurant.

You can enjoy authentic Korean cuisine such as jjigae and sul lung tang at the popular restaurant Arirang in Osaka Station Building No. 2 & No. 3. The owner's nephew has opened a Korean street food restaurant that is also popular in Korea, serving crispy fried chicken and other dishes, as well as a pocha (pub) that offers takeout. Menu items include Kimbap (480 yen) and Kimchi Mandu (480 yen). They are open all day, making it a convenient place for lunch, snacks, or a casual drink.

I asked the staff at the instant ramen and frozen food store if they serve instant ramen, and they confirmed it. Honestly, I think it's not a common practice for Japanese people to have instant ramen as a lunch option at a restaurant. Maybe it's more of a convenience store meal? I paid around 800 yen for instant food as a lunch, and I couldn't help but think, "Is this really happening?"
