I happened to walk around Shinsaibashi looking for a delicious restaurant for my business trip in Osaka. I tried various dishes, but the grilled chicken with mountain thief style and beef tongue were amazing! They have a variety of skewers, and the six types of tsukune skewers were incredibly delicious!

I came for lunch recommended by a friend. The restaurant was packed and very busy! All seafood dishes were sold out by 1:30 pm. I had the simmered fish set meal, which had a sweet seasoning. It came with a side dish and was a good value for the price!

Tonight, I had dinner here. I apologize for the lack of photos as I was with a colleague. We started with a charcoal grill serving of squid, shiitake mushrooms, green peppers, and shishamo. The ingredients were lightly seasoned, allowing us to enjoy their natural flavors. The fried burdock salad was crispy and delicious with a perfect Japanese dressing. The highlight was the red snapper rice cooked in broth, which took 30 minutes but was worth the wait. The flavor was excellent, and I finished every grain of rice. I wish there was a bit more red snapper in the dish. The only downside was the loud chatter from a nearby girls' night out. However, the attentive service from the hostess made up for it. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I am currently on a business trip in Osaka. Since the COVID-19 situation, it has been a while since I last visited. The lunch business seems to be thriving. I had the "Seasonal Fish Dried Fish Set" for ¥980. Today's fish of the day was yellowtail. During my business trip, I often can't have dinner, so I try to eat healthy for lunch. It takes about 15 minutes to cook over charcoal, and it gets quite hot near the counter. The portion size was large, but it would have been even better with a bit more fat. It came with grated yam, which made me happy!

It was just okay. The sashimi set meal was 1078 yen. The taste was average and the portion size was good. I think it's worth it for this price. It looks fancy and the staff were polite. They also served hot tea without any hesitation. Thank you.

Today's lunch was at Mamesuke-san again, and this time I chose the sashimi set that I had always been curious about because of its presentation. The actual plating was quite different from the menu photo, which was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi included tuna, striped jack, flounder, yellowtail, and salmon, with 2 slices of each, and they were all very delicious. You can also have seconds of rice during lunchtime. I visited Mamesuke near Ame-mura for lunch again (^。^) The lunch here is really charming. My recommendation is the sashimi set, although I have never actually ordered it myself (〃ω〃) It looks very luxurious from what others are having (I wonder about the cost performance). There are many other menu options, but I tend to lean towards the steak set because I love meat. I was able to be seated without waiting by entering at 11:50 on a weekday. I think it gets quite full after 12:15. I am very satisfied today as well. Thank you for the meal (^人^)

This day was a year-end party with business partners. In Shinsaibashi, there is a restaurant called "Oto to Sake Mamesuke Nishi Shinsaibashi Store" with a traditional storefront. In front of the store, there is a vertical sign saying "Welcome, ○○-sama", which brings back memories of the Showa era. As soon as you enter, you see a large charcoal grill, and beyond the counter, there is a surprising pond where you have to take off your shoes! There were huge goldfish swimming in the pond, not koi. On this day, we were invited so I didn't understand the menu, but the main course was a Korean-style chicken teppanyaki. It was served on a flat, unfamiliar teppan with a mountain of bean sprouts, cabbage, chicken, beef offal, and chives. The drink options were plentiful. Starting with the appetizers, there was a sashimi assortment. Surprisingly good. There was also a tofu salad with fried yuba generously poured over it. The teppanyaki started bubbling around this time. The fried dishes included stuffed fried eggplant and plump shrimp mayo. The crispy shrimp coating was delicious. A slightly unusual dish was the grilled yellowtail with daikon radish. Also delicious. I ordered a highball and was surprised to see that the ice was round. Then, each person was served a large steamed oyster. This was unexpected. After the teppanyaki, a large portion of udon was served. Despite being full, the remaining offal and vegetables surprisingly added to the flavor. The meal ended with warabi mochi. It's a 2-hour time limit, but with this much food and reasonably delicious dishes, all for around 4000 yen, it's amazing. The spacious private room allows for a relaxing and comfortable dining experience. This is a great restaurant.

After work, I visited this restaurant. The interior is quite spacious. The sashimi platter looked great! The other dishes we ordered were also good, but the alcohol seemed expensive. It was quite pricey... Thank you for the meal.

I heard there were a lot of oyster dishes at the restaurant and I was taken there. They had fresh oysters, steamed oysters, and oyster tempura. The sashimi platter was also impressive! I had never heard of zaru tofu before, but it was smooth and delicious. It's called "Mamesuke," so maybe they have a special tofu.

Today, I went to Mamesuke with my colleagues for lunch. I ordered the bandit's grill that I had always been curious about. The waiter told me it would take about 15 minutes, but I didn't mind. The seafood bowl my colleagues ordered came out quickly and looked very delicious. Finally, after waiting for 30 minutes, my bandit's grill arrived. While everyone else had finished eating, I didn't hesitate and enjoyed my meal. The flavor was very rich, but it went well with the rice (free refills) and I was very satisfied. Next time, I want to come alone to eat this dish.

I am currently on a business trip in Osaka, but I have been too busy that I didn't have a proper meal yesterday. I really need to eat properly or I might collapse. When I want to have a proper meal, I go to this place! They also serve lunch on Sundays. They open at 12 pm on Sundays, and it was quite crowded when I went. I ordered the "Seasonal Fish Grilled Fish Set Meal" for 980 yen, and today's fish was hokke. The meal also came with lemon and grated daikon. The miso soup had seaweed, and there was also a complimentary tororo (grated yam). The rice was cooked very soft, so it might be a hit or miss for some people. I noticed on the menu that they also have an eel bowl for 980 yen and a premium eel bowl for 1880 yen. Even though the prices are low, I might give it a try next time! When I entered, they asked me if I smoke, and when I left, they said "Thank you, take care!" The staff's service is very Osaka-like. Thank you for the delicious meal as always!

I went on a business trip to Osaka today and had lunch at "Mamesuke" once again. Several staff members joined me for lunch, and the menu was so diverse that everyone could find something they liked. On a Sunday in America-mura, it was just around noon and I was feeling tired from a series of business trips. It was my last day of work, so I needed to get energized. I decided to have lunch at "Mamesuke," which always has a great selection of lunch menus. When I come to America-mura, I always end up stopping by. I wanted to eat something healthy with fish, but I'm not a fan of daily specials, so I ended up choosing the steak lunch set for 980 yen. As soon as I entered, I could see a glass-covered charcoal grill with a skilled chef grilling delicious-looking dishes. When my order arrived, I was served a hearty beef loin steak with plenty of red meat that had a good chew to it. Since I was feeling tired, I wanted something more tender, like a tenderloin. But for 1000 yen, I couldn't complain about the lunch. As I was leaving, I saw the grilled "hokke" fish, which looked very fatty and oily. It seemed like I made a mistake in my choice.
