A classic favorite! I love red bean paste buns! And I also love the way the staff wraps them up, it's like art! Haha. I actually like to warm them up in the microwave first and then put them in the toaster to make the outside crispy before eating!

I love Gyoza-kohsan because it is cheap and delicious. It makes a great souvenir and is filled with plenty of red bean paste. Ordering is easy with options like red bean paste or white bean paste. Personally, I prefer red bean paste. It's not too sweet and just the right amount, making me very happy. The skin is also tasty and satisfying. The gyoza is served warm and can be reheated if it cools down. The red bean paste is so good that I would buy it on its own. The prices are very reasonable, and the wrapping process is fast and neat. The staff is also very polite. I think it's a wonderful shop and I will definitely visit again.

Hello~ I work long term in Akashi and commute by train. On days when I'm in a good mood, I buy some treats on my way home from work as souvenirs for my family. It's like the Akashi-style taiyaki. Who's in a rush to finish, right? I've always admired dads who come home with souvenirs. My own dad is a real piece of work... Oh, you're gonna talk about that? Nah... (laughs) They're 95 yen each after tax. Today, I got three red ones. They're cheap, my wife and kid are thrilled, the staff are polite, they give out free shopping bags, and even for small quantities, they wrap them up carefully. Perfect for souvenirs, really...

I had been curious every time I passed by this shop, so I decided to stop by after a long time. I bought 3 red and 3 white dorayaki for 95 yen each, totaling 570 yen. Both the red bean paste and white bean paste were delicious. It reminded me of the dorayaki I used to eat a lot as a child.

On the way back to the inn, I made a detour (lol). It was only 190 yen for two, including tax, so it's cheap, right? I took a bite right away. I chose the red bean paste, so it was half-mashed and the skin was thin with lots of red bean paste! Surprisingly, it wasn't too heavy and overall it was quite good. I'll save the other one for after dinner and a bath! I really like the taste, and it's good value, so I'm pleased. Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m

After work, I passed by the store and suddenly felt like eating... I bought 4, including for my family. On the way back from a trip to Osaka, my mother bought some, and I've eaten them many times before. Even after a long time, the taste hasn't changed, which is nice. I've tried both red bean paste and white bean paste, but I'm definitely a red bean paste fan♡ The red bean paste uses red beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, with just the right amount of sweetness. I warmed it up a little in the microwave and ate it, but it still can't beat freshly baked. The price of Gozakko is affordable, so I'll buy it again when I feel like eating it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal☆

From Osaka Station, I was walking to catch a train and suddenly came across this place, "Gozakko." It's a popular shop where there is usually a long line to buy their Gozakko, but on this day, there was no one waiting which was surprising! Since my husband likes it, I decided to buy some. I bought 3 pieces. We usually buy 3 pieces and each person eats one at our house so we don't overindulge. The price for 3 pieces was 285 yen. Back home, I made some tea and we enjoyed the still warm Gozakko! The red bean paste inside is coarse, which I used to not like in the past, but I've gotten used to it recently and can now finish one piece without any problem (laughs). Osaka Station has many food stores but some are closed down, showing the harsh reality of the situation.

"Ozagou" is now such a popular shop in Kansai that it is recognized as synonymous with "kaitenyaki". The prices and quality are truly amazing. I used to love their summer limited edition "Anko Daisuki Ice", which was milk ice cream with plenty of red bean paste, but it seems they have revamped the ice cream this year. Unfortunately, it is no longer available, which is a top 5 sadness for me this summer (my life is pretty low on sadness, haha). In its place, they have introduced new white bean and red bean ice bars. I bought both. Well, they are quite hard, almost as hard as Imuraya's Azuki Bar. In conclusion, personally (just my preference), I much prefer the now discontinued "Anko Daisuki Ice" because it had a better texture and flavor of red bean. These new ice bars have an overall red bean taste, but lack the enjoyable texture and flavor variety, feeling a bit monotonous. I feel like the sweetness of the red bean is not as pronounced in the white bean one (just my personal, low-level palate opinion). Well, I probably won't buy these again. I hope the "Anko Daisuki Ice" makes a comeback next year...

In the Kansai region, this confectionery is called "kaitenyaki." Some people use "gozakou" as a synonymous term for kaitenyaki. When you see kaitenyaki, it's like saying, "It's gozakou." This time, we have red bean paste and white bean paste flavors. Each costs 95 yen, still less than a coin. It's appreciated that it's cheap, but I think even 100 yen would be fine. This shop is located inside Osaka Station, which is excellent. I think people wouldn't complain if it was around 150 yen. The kaitenyaki from Gozakou has plenty of bean paste, making it feel worth the price and a good deal. It's cheap and delicious, so it's a popular choice for souvenirs, along with 551's pork buns. The feeling of happiness when eating a warm gozakou under the cold sky is something that Kansai people have probably experienced at least once.

Rotating castella (*´ω`*) As expected, the classic red bean and white bean flavors have been popular here for a long time, so I decided to buy both. The red bean paste is large and fluffy, with a delicious taste, while the white bean paste has a gentle sweetness that is hard to resist even though I don't usually buy it. Thank you for the delicious meal ☆★ (σ´∀`)σ ★☆ Thank you for visiting and reading ♫ ( ´θ`)ノ.

Whenever I eat it, it's consistently delicious!! I've been eating it for over 40 years since I was a child, and I never get tired of it. I moved away from Kansai, but every time I go back home, I buy it as a souvenir. My family members who live with me also love it (*^ ^*) There are various types of taiyaki and obanyaki, but Gyoza Kougou is still the best \(^o^)/... By the way, I really want the cushion in the picture w

I went to Omazakou-san to buy souvenirs. They have large dorayaki filled with plenty of sweet red bean paste. You can choose between white bean paste and chunky bean paste. They are delicious when eaten warm, but they also have a great flavor even after some time has passed.

Today's recommendation is this shop located in Osaka Station. It was Wednesday evening and there were about 3 groups waiting in line. They cook right in front of you, so you won't get bored waiting. They offer both red bean and white bean fillings, but I ordered three red bean ones. Surprisingly, they were only 85 yen each! The red bean filling was not too sweet, just right with chunky red bean paste. It was surprising to see red bean instead of black bean filling.

I have been eating this for a long time (*´ω`*) This time, I had both red bean paste and white bean paste, and the red bean paste with distinct grains seemed to be from Hokkaido. The taste of azuki beans is always reliable ( ´θ`) The white bean paste has a gentle sweetness. I usually prefer red bean paste, but it's nice to have white bean paste once in a while. Thank you for the delicious meal ☆★ (σ´∀`)σ ★☆ Thank you for visiting and reading ♫ ( ´θ`)ノ release 2019nankaihawks1’s gourmet guide nankaihawks1’s blog http://hawks1.exblog.jp/

The store shelves are stocked with packaged sweet red bean paste. Behind the glass, staff are diligently baking red bean paste and white bean paste. Next to the cash register, there are drinks like oolong tea, mineral water, yomogi mochi, and sweet red bean paste. I bought the red bean paste, which was freshly baked and piping hot. The skin was chewy and the inside was filled with plenty of sweet red bean paste. I plan to try the white bean paste next time.

After shopping in Umeda, I found a great place that sells large pancakes, or what they call "kansai-style rotating pancakes". Usually, I buy waffles on my way back, but this time I decided to try the large pancakes. They were freshly baked and smelled so good! I bought one with white bean paste filling and one with red bean paste filling. Each pancake was only 85 yen including tax, so I bought 2 white and 4 red, totaling 6 pancakes for 510 yen! Such a great deal! The cashier was very efficient in packing the pancakes, and even though it had been 30 minutes since I bought them, they were still warm when I got home. I tried the red bean paste one first, and it was delicious as always. Then I tried the white bean paste one, which was also very tasty. I think I might prefer the white one. I actually like the dough more than the filling. They also had mugwort rice cakes, which I might try next time. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you!

I love mochi with a chewy texture. I usually only buy red ones, but sometimes I cheat with white ones (lol). Today, I bought enough for everyone in the office on my way to work. A colleague from Kyushu who transferred from Tohoku didn't know about Gozakko. Maybe it's only in Kansai. It's nice that everyone can enjoy a piece of happiness. Luckily, there's no one here who dislikes sweet bean paste. Japanese sweets are great, right? I forgot to take a photo.

While walking around Osaka Station, I found a shop selling Imagawayaki inside Hankyu Department Store, so I bought 5 red bean paste and 2 white bean paste ones as souvenirs. In total, it cost 595 yen, with each piece priced at 85 yen, which is a great deal. The taste was really good, just like the red bean paste one I had before. I was looking forward to trying the white bean paste one this time. When I ate it at home, the red bean paste one was delicious as always. Now onto the second one, the white bean paste was not too sweet and very tasty. It's truly a great value for the price.

The other day, I suddenly felt like eating a taiyaki, so when I went to Umeda Station, I visited the famous taiyaki shop "Gozakou" and bought two taiyakis as usual. Although I haven't been eating them much lately, whenever I crave taiyaki, I always end up buying them here. I went for the classic red bean paste taiyaki, and it was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.
