The curry sauce had a noticeable spiciness, but it was a pleasant level of heat. I sometimes feel exhausted from work in the morning, and for some reason, I crave something spicy. So, I visited Fukushimajoto Curry in Esaka, just a 2-minute walk from Esaka Station, where there is a McDonald's on the first floor of the Heartland Esaka building. Today, I ordered the curry for 600 yen, or 750 yen for a large serving, or 700 yen for curry with pork cutlet. You can also add a raw egg for 50 yen. It's surprisingly affordable. I purchased a ticket from the ticket machine, handed it to the staff, and waited for about 3 minutes. The food was served quickly, which was great for a lunch break. The balance between the rice and curry was good. It's difficult to enjoy curry if the balance is off. The curry sauce was light and quite spicy. It didn't seem too spicy at first, but it kicked in later. The pickled cabbage on the side was a great palate cleanser. I personally prefer the rice a bit firmer. The portion of rice felt a bit small, but considering the cost, I was satisfied. The speed of service was fast and perfect for a quick lunch for office workers. I enjoyed the meal. You purchase a meal ticket at the entrance of the store, and I chose the most popular Tonkatsu Curry in the top left corner. It was served within 10 seconds of sitting down. At first glance, it seemed like a small portion. I took a bite - the Tonkatsu had a crispy texture to the coating, and the curry was on the sweeter side. I sprinkled some seasoning that seemed like cayenne pepper on the table to adjust the spiciness. I ended up adding a lot, but it didn't get too spicy, just a bit more flavorful. Although it looked like a small amount, I ended up feeling quite full after finishing it. It's a convenient place to get delicious curry. It reminded me of places like Nino-ya Curry. In the second week of February 2019, I was working around the area between Esaka and Midorino Park in the morning. Although Midorino Park is closer, I was heading towards Esaka because it's downhill. I found a high-class curry restaurant in the basement of a building, so I decided to try it for the first time in a while. I ordered a large portion of pork cutlet curry with a soft-boiled egg topping from the ticket machine. It seems like my taste buds have changed because I wasn't as impressed as before. The curry had a lot of spicy spices added, and the soft-boiled egg was a bit too firm. Overall, it was an okay meal.

It's the best. I always get extra cheese and cabbage, and sometimes add pork cutlet. It's delicious with a sweet and savory flavor, no complaints! Please keep the curry tasting the same as it is now! (A few years ago, when it was changed once, I honestly didn't like it! I cried)
