This is a stylish old farmhouse cafe with a lot of greenery, giving the feeling of a short trip. The staff are friendly and even told us about a hydrangea viewing spot as we were leaving. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious. The only downside is that there are quite a few cold dishes that seem pre-made. As others have mentioned, it does take a bit of courage to drive there.

There is a special opening at Kongoji Temple, so I decided to have lunch here again. Outside, the autumn breeze is blowing, and I can feel the season changing. As I entered, I was greeted by a Border Collie named Akubi, who was sleeping, but still welcoming. The staff informed me that today's meal is ginger rice, but they can provide regular rice for those who prefer it.
I had the Fukuchian lunch (1100 yen including tax), where you can choose from three main dishes: chicken cutlet, mackerel miso, or pork ginger stir-fry. I chose the pork ginger stir-fry, which had thick slices of meat with a flavorful ginger taste that went well with the rice. The chicken cutlet was served with a jam-like chili sauce that complemented the tender and juicy meat.
The side dishes were also well-seasoned and made with care and dedication. Even the pickled vegetables had a variety of flavors like celery, carrot, eggplant, radish, and cucumber. Overall, the meal was delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the feast!

Before visiting the Kongouji Temple with my mother, we stopped by this restaurant. I found the entrance to the shop, but I was wondering if cars could enter. However, another customer's car (a small car) boldly entered, so I followed suit and managed to enter. The interior of the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere, with jazz music playing in the background. We ordered lunch at the counter seats, with options like pork ginger, chicken cutlet, and mackerel simmered in miso. I chose the mackerel simmered in miso, while my mother chose the pork ginger. The dishes were delicious, with a good aroma and flavors. The side dishes like kinpira, oshidashi, and pickles were all tasty. The noodle soup had a nice aroma of matsutake mushrooms. The coffee and tea we had after the meal were also enjoyable. Overall, the experience at this old folk house cafe was fantastic and the lunch was delicious.

The slope is quite steep and scary, but the parking lot is not that narrow. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, and the chicken cutlet and side dishes were very delicious! The panna cotta after the meal was also delicious and I was very satisfied!
