I ordered a regular size cheese beef bowl, a plate of yakitori, 2 pieces of fried chicken, and a medium bottle of beer. Even though I had already been drinking at home, I couldn't help but eat this much before going to bed, which is probably why I can't lose weight. I felt a sense of guilt, but it was delicious. I visited to get takeout on my way home from an outing around 8:30pm. I ordered a regular beef bowl with extra high-quality pickled vegetables, a regular beef bowl with melty 3-cheese topping, a double garlic beef bowl, a large garlic beef bowl, and a clam soup with raw egg set. The total came to 3090 yen. I took the food home with me. The double garlic beef bowl had both garlic cloves and garlic sprouts, giving it a double garlic flavor. It was hearty and satisfying, although the garlic flavor was not as strong as expected. Adding kimchi as a topping would have been a good idea! I'll try that next time. Thank you for the meal!

Tokyo has issued a heavy snow warning for the first time since January 2018, with 10 centimeters of snow confirmed even in the city center. Despite this, I had to drive to work (using a work car). I changed to snow tires at the end of the year in preparation for the snow, which was a hassle, but I managed to change all four tires myself using a jack. After finishing work, on my way home around 2 am, I stopped by a restaurant. The roads were frozen, and even with snow tires, it was slippery on the icy surface. Inside the restaurant, there were four customers before me and two after me. I sat at the counter and ordered using a tablet. I ordered the regular pork curry for 690 yen and added an okra salad set for 230 yen, totaling 920 yen. The food was served in about 3 minutes. The curry was surprisingly spicy with no particular ingredients in the roux, tasting like pre-made curry. The pickled radish was a bit too sweet. The okra salad with sesame dressing was delicious. The miso soup had green onions, seaweed, and fried tofu, a classic combination, although it was a bit thin but still good. I was a bit surprised to see other customers on the snowy road. I ordered a combination of shrimp chili and pork bowl for the first time. Since it's fast food, I don't usually complain, but the taste was terrible, with no flavor at all, and there were even young corn and fried eggplant in it. Moreover, the young corn was so hard that it was impossible to chew. It was so bad that I had to change the taste with a soft-boiled egg and pickled ginger just to be able to eat it. I seriously doubt the taste buds of the person who approved this as a product. The cost performance is also terrible, with a set of pickles and miso soup plus a soft-boiled egg for 1100 yen. And the shrimp in it was almost black, so I wonder if it was even cooked properly. How can they serve something like this? I definitely do not recommend it.

The state of emergency has been lifted in Tokyo, but restaurants are still required to close by 9:00 PM (excluding takeout). Today, I visited the restaurant around 9:00 PM for takeout. I ordered a large portion of pork kimchi bowl, pork miso soup with egg set, green onion pork bowl, and two cheesy beef bowls with curry. The restaurant had two touch panel terminals for takeout orders, making the process smooth. After placing the order on the touch panel, an order slip is printed and taken to the cashier for payment. The kitchen starts preparing the food as soon as the order slip is printed, even before payment. There were about five people waiting for takeout orders. I waited for about 7 minutes before taking my food home. Sukiya offers a variety of toppings, allowing customers to customize their orders, which is great! My kids love Sukiya too. We will definitely come back again.

I ordered the beef sukiyaki set meal. Orders are placed verbally, not through a vending machine, and payment is made at the register. The set includes beef sukiyaki, raw egg, rice, and fukujinzuke. The sauce is slightly sweet, but it goes well with the rice. Eating it by dipping the beef in raw egg is a classic way to enjoy sukiyaki. I noticed halfway through eating that there was no udon in the beef sukiyaki. I was satisfied with the portion size, but other customers might complain. The hot pot is cooked in the kitchen and brought to the table bubbling, so there is no need for solid fuel.

When it comes to Sukiya, it is a popular beef bowl chain restaurant. They have 7 locations in Katsushika Ward. They offer a variety of sizes, from mini to Mega size, making it the widest size selection among the three major beef bowl chains. This restaurant is quite far from the station, not along the main roads like Mito Kaido or Kanjo Seven, but located at various intersections with parking available. It seems they are targeting customers coming by car. It is conveniently located near the Kameari Library, which is open 24 hours, just like Sukiya. The Negi-Tama Beef Bowl is 380 yen for a regular size, and the Buta-Toro Don (pork belly bowl) is also 380 yen. Sukiya has always focused on toppings for their beef bowls. The beef may be slightly tougher compared to Yoshinoya or Matsuya, but the combination of green onions and egg goes well with the beef bowl. The Buta-Toro Don is my favorite at Sukiya, with simmered pork belly on top of rice, along with shiitake mushrooms and daikon radish, all in a soy sauce-based flavor that Japanese people like. You can even try it with some mustard. Inside the restaurant, there are a few families dining as well. This Sukiya is located along the road by the Mizu Nagareru Parent-and-Child Park.

I couldn't have dinner with just white dumplings, so I stopped by here on the way home for the first time (I got a regular size to go). I think this might be the first time I've ever eaten at Sukiya. The bottom line is, I can't tell the difference (if eaten separately), but the differences in portion sizes at each store seem bigger. Well, it's fast food, so as long as it's fast and cheap, I won't complain. Thank you for the meal.

371st visit. Came to have breakfast. Located along a main street with no other shops around, it stands out. Plenty of parking space as it is along the main street. Inside the restaurant, it's just like any other Sukiya. Sat down and ordered the morning set. It arrived. Rice, miso soup, pickles, beef dish, okra, and a soft-boiled egg for only 300 yen. Sukiya is really trying hard. The taste is average. But with this much food for breakfast, it's definitely enough. Hmm, I've been feeling frustrated with the recent price hikes and menu changes, but they are really making an effort.
